This area rug is incredibly soft and feels amazing underfoot! It adds a cozy touch to my room and is perfect for relaxing or playing on. The quality is excellent, and it holds up well with daily use. Highly recommend if you’re looking for a comfortable and stylish rug that makes any space feel warm and inviting!

The pad on this is really comfortable and the fibers themselves create a SUPER SOFT texture to sit on. However, as expected with the price, the density is pretty thin on this carpet. If you run your hand back through the fibers you can see directly into the surface of the pad. When vacuuming it (Dyson stand-up hypoallergenic ball roller model), the fibers seem to get pretty strained and the vacuum itself doesn't seem to be getting up small things that have worked down into the fibers. I've found that using the vacuum on a suck-only function (rather than the rolling brush function) works best for this and puts the rug under less stress. Tl;dr - Great and soft for the price. Would recommend.

Agree with everyone who says this is cheaply made—I’d say you get what you pay for but this isn’t even worth the $35 prime days deal I paid. It’s slippery—not the backing but the rug itself. It really looks like I threw a (cheap) faux fur blanket down on the floor. If it didn’t have the stiff backing I would actually use it as a blanket—it is super soft but really thin. It comes shrink wrapped in plastic so I hope I can return it without the original packaging—no way is that genie going back in the bottle it came in.

I recently purchased the Ophanie Living Room Rug in the 5x8 Grey size and found it to be a mix of positives and negatives. On the upside, the rug's comfort is undeniable. Its ultra-soft, shaggy surface and high-density sponge interlayer provide a cozy and pleasant feel underfoot, making it ideal for rooms where comfort is key, like living rooms or nurseries. However, the rug falls short in durability, particularly with the non-slip pad at the bottom. Despite its initial effectiveness, the pad wears out quickly, leading to the rug bunching up, which can be a hassle to constantly adjust. Given its affordable price, I would still recommend this rug for those looking for comfort on a budget, but be aware of the potential longevity issues. Overall, I'd rate the Ophanie Living Room Rug 3 stars. It excels in providing a cozy feel to any room but may require additional maintenance or even a replacement pad over time due to wear and tear.

For how affordable it is, it really is so nice. Material soft and cozy. Has padding underneath so it’s comfy to sit on and doesn’t feel like you’re sitting on the hard floor. Looks like a rug worth triple the price. I loooove it in my living room. an FYI it came in a box and package vacuum sealed, so if it seems they sent the wrong rug or smaller..it’s not, it expands quickly when you open the package to the full size as described.

You may as well call this a disposable carpet. The quality of this rug is pretty sub-par with the material it’s made of. The rug is very thin, and much lighter than any traditional rug, in fact, it came vacuum sealed in a compressed bag! that’s small. Once out of the package, It does seem to lay flat without curling much, but does slide and kick up very easily. The only functional highlight of this product, is that it does make the floor nicer on bare feet, and has a nice dark/light shifty color to the plush material, But if you eat over it, spill anything on it, or drop something small, forget it, it’s gone. The texture, weight and quality of it, make it nearly impossible to clean, so if you have any pets ⚠️⚠️ this is not for you, hence why I mentioned it should be considered disposable. I shake it out pretty often to remove debris, but once it gets dirty, I will buy a better quality one.

I bought this because we have tile and linoleum floors in our house, and my 14-year-old dog can't walk on them without sliding all around and this rug has been a blessing! He prances around the house now because he can run around without looking like Bambi on ice! Plus, it's nice for my feet, too.
