I have been using Oral-B for the past 5 years and it has been truly amazing. When I was gifted an Oral-B toothbrush , I didn't think much of it and it remained unopened for a few months. After a few uses, my gums felt swollen, partially due to not knowing how to hold and position the toothbrush against my teeth/gum. However, using it for months, my dental hygienist tells me, "Your teeth are too boring for me to clean." She said my teeth and gum are in "excellent" condition. I truly don't floss daily nor brush 3 times daily. I brush morning and night. Our 3rd grader son used my Oral-B during our vacation as I packed extra replacement head (color coded) in the travel container, included with purchase. He loved it so much so that he asked to get one for his 9th birthday. I took it to NYC without the charging station and it was still charged after 6 days of use. I decided to get him this one (not the kids version) because I know he will be using it for many years! I am still using mine from 5 years ago and it is working just as well. Pros: very thorough cleaning, easy to operate, simple design, low noise, kid friendly, good life span Cons: medium to high price point

I'm late to the electric toothbrush game...very late as I'm in my late 40s. So take this review with a grain of salt. I liked this toothbrush as I only have the old school manual brush to compare it to. I read lots of reviews so I was trying to prepare myself. PROS - I get a clean outcome after two mins. It's way better than with a regular toothbrush. - I love that it has an additional brush head and carry case. Now I can also take it with me to go. - I love the senors of how well I'm brushing so I can be more aware. - Great price and beginner toothbrush. - Would be great for kids. CONS - This thing is loud as hell. You can hear me brushing from other rooms. - Don't you dare put the toothpaste on and then turn it on while outside of your mouth. You will have toothpaste all over the place. I had to learn this lesson many times. - It would be nice if it could turn off after 2 mins. - After buying this model (series 3) I realized Oral B is on series 10. I would have preferred a later model as it might come with more bells and whistles. - I have no idea when to change the brush head so I'm just going to stick to the golden rule of every 3 months. Overrall, I like it. It gets the job done and I see myself graduate to a later model in a few months.

Wonderful to have clean teeth. As I've gotten older it seems harder to keep my teeth clean between dental visits. This really solved the problem. Has the 2 minute setting with 30 second intervals and the gum pressure sensor. That is great for my needs. Just had a 6 month cleaning and the hygienist said there wasn't much to work on, that my teeth were quite clean. Fairly easy to hold, bought on sale for a reasonable price. I will probably have sticker shock for the brush head replacements but the cleaner teeth will make it worthwhile. Wish I would have switched to powered toothbrush years ago.

My last old oral b lasted years! It died of old age and I knew I wanted another one! I was given the Genius when I worked in dentistry. I abandoned my sonicare and have never looked back. This brush is a more basic but cleans just as well as my old genius. It just is a more basic option and works great! This has fewer settings than the Genius but I really never used them . Good price great oral health ! After each quadrant 30seconds,it will vibrate which tells you to move to the next quadrant . After all the quads done it will vibrate 4 times to let you know you have completed your 2 minutes. The brush will continue for extra time. Or you can turn it off. I will never use anything other than Oral B

I bought this electric toothbrush about 3 months ago, after my dentist recommended this specific one. It's good for the deep cleaning, rotating head, and the pressure notification for gums. This is my first electric toothbrush. Overall I like this one.. at first it is awkward holding maybe because it's a little heavy, and I tend to drool a lot with this. I learned I have to spit the toothpaste out halfway through. It does give you a really deep clean feeling. I enjoy the light changing colors if I press too hard/light and the vibrating timer so you know when to move onto the next quadrant of your mouth. I liked it so much I bought my husband the exact same one, he also enjoys it.

It is a nice upgrade from my older Oral B electric toothbrush (I believe older one is a Pro 1000?). I wasn't going to get one for myself, but it was on a sale for under $90, so I thought I'd give it a try! - Much quieter than my old one. My old one sounded like it was a 747 jet ready for take off lol. - Took quite a while to charge, but have only charged it once so far. - Seems like good battery life - Vibrations after 30 seconds and after the 2 min are quite soft. Still adjusting to that - 3 modes vs 2 on my old one - Bulkier than old one - Toothbrush heads are quite large, seems like a bit larger than the old style (I didn't get out a ruler or anything like that), and from what I can find online are only available in 2 types for this model - My teeth do feel surprisingly cleaner with this model vs my old, maybe that's just a coincidence? - Replacement heads cost more $$ than older style, and are not interchangeable. - I think it's a good value and seems like good quality - I would recommend waiting to see if you can get it on sale though!
