I honestly didn't have high hopes. Because we've all seen these fads and trends and the beef tallow hype has been hyping, right? It's EVERYWHERE making us think.... Am I doing my face care wrong? Have I been doing it wrong this whole time? But how many fads turn out to be just that? How many things just don't live up to the hype? So I was skeptical to say the least. BUT I have learned a lot about the toxins and chemicals we take into our bodies every day through food and have made many changes with what me and my family eat, even though I've always been obsessed with healthy whole foods. There's always room to improve right? And don't get me started on seed oils! Gawd! They are everywhere! But I never thought about what I was putting onto only my biggest organ!!! My skin! Looking at the insane list of ingredients I can't pronounce, on my very nice moisturizer that I've been using and loving for years, and I felt like an idiot once I really thought about it. So I thought, I guess I'll try this beef tallow fad. I have been struggling with menopause skin. If you know you know. Struggling with acne for the first time in my life while my skin is also painfully dry. I swear to God... Are the hot flashes, insomnia, brain fog, and exhaustion not enough? I also have to have cystic acne, crepe like skin around my eyes, and skin of the Sahara!?! Seriously!?! So I got this beef tallow moisturizer. Took a chance. Was worried it might make this crazy acne worse. Or that it might smell too strongly like beef or even citrus! But it was Amazon so I thought.... Well I can return it if I hate it. And out the gate I was like... Hmmmm greasy. And I'm not sure. But the smell was nice, not too much at all. And no beef lol. So I began to try it a bit here and there for the first week. Took me a min to figure out how much was too much and to get use to working with it and the feel of it cause it's different. And I hate change! Lol But then I started slugging it on with castor oil at night. And woke up looking less like the crypt keeper. Another week goes by and I start realizing that my skin feels better when I use this stuff rather than when I use my normal moisturizer. And I lean more into the beef tallow. I noticed if I put it on at night I don't need more in the morning now, especially after slugging. And then I realized that it has been a week since any acne. Then two weeks. Then 4!!!! And then I have people saying things like "Your skin looks absolutely amazing" or "You are glowing". WHAT!?!? ME? I haven't glowed in 4 years! And then I begin to look in the mirror again. Quit looking at myself a couple years back. But I was Liking that girl looking back cause damn her skin looks AMAZING. She doesn't look like a paper bag anymore! That's the skin she used to have! It's back! Honestly I cannot tell you how big of a deal this stuff is. I haven't tried any other brands but who cares!?! This stuff right here? It just fixed my menopause skin. Ladies if you know, you freaking know! I will say that slugging your face with castor oil mixed with this beef tallow is a pro tip. But don't slug directly up to your lashes! It will irritate your eyeballs. So stay about a half inch away from upper and lower lashes ladies! You're welcome! But I would highly suggest doing that. Castor oil is an anti inflammatory, pore cleanser, and helps your cells regenerate, heals scars, etc. But slugging with my old moisturizer and castor oil did not do what this combo of the tallow and castor is doing!!! So enjoy it! But during the day, a tiny bit of this stuff on your face is all you need. The skin around your eyes is going to LOVE IT. Your lips will love it. Your cheeks, neck, forehead, everything. I wish they sold tubs of the stuff so I could use it all over my body but I'll take the win with the face and I use coconut oil on my body anyways. So Try this tallow. Give it time. Get use to it. Then soak up the compliments. Hell, you'll compliment your self when you see you in the mirror! Lol It's gonna look good on you. Your skin will thank you! Plus this company is pretty cool. I've looked into them and they are exactly what I was looking for. Family ran. From right here in America. No bait and switch tricks like other brands thank God. Lol So have fun! Buy away!

I bought the lavender balm - texture and fragrance are wonderful. I have a slight sensory problem and the lavender was just a little overpowering for me to use on my face, so I decided to return it for another fragrance. Amazon does allow returns for this product, but the package contained a note to contact the vendor and they would handle any return or replacement. So I did - and their response was almost immediate and definitely surprising. They immediately offered a replacement of the balm in the vanilla fragrance (which is the one I was already using and LOVE). The replacement was delivered within a week, along with "extras" - a 5 pack of the unscented tallow lip balm and one flavored (they are great - goes on smoothly and hydrates). Also included an extra jar of balm!!! I had a health scare and decided to overhaul the things I used for skin and house cleaning to more natural products without all the toxic ingredients. I began replacing cosmetics and I tried several different types of balm from different manufacturers. They were either greasy, smelly or both. Then I came across Terra Lotus and I have not looked back. I had been dealing with a comprised skin barrier due to my illness - with this balm was gone in a few days. The fragrance was light and pleasing. And my skin has never looked better and I am getting compliments and questions about my "routine". Has never clogged pores or caused breakouts (something I had worried about when beginning with beef tallow). I can't praise this company enough!

Definitely more of a balm, thicker than some others I’ve tried. Pleasant citrus smell and worked very well on dry skin. It absorbed better after the shower in damp skin.

Calidad: Baja Consistencia: Suave Color: Amarillo Olor: tiene Olor suave En conclusión es importante que muestren la ficha técnica del producto y que sean las fotos reales, no me parece un producto malo, sin embargo no cumplen con las especificaciones de venta, el producto tardo en llegar es porque viene de china. Costo beneficio: El precio no es proporcional al tamaño y calidad del producto, se puede elevar por la cadena de suministro que maneja.
