Pushed the button and it worked no pairing at all, as good as it came new!! 5 Stars

If you recently purchased an LG OLED smart TV but hate the "magic remote" that has the pointer, voice control, and weird wheel button for "select", then this is the remote for you. I know I sound old school but just give me the basics. The original remote also had clunky buttons that were hard to depress and not very responsive. What a relief to make things simpler on an otherwise nice TV.

Imagine my surprise... I removed the device from the plastic bag, inserted 2 AAA batteries, pointed out at my LG TV and clicked. The power came on, and the remote control device was immediately fully functional. No set-up, no synching, no NUTHIN' It worked perfectly. How fun -- an electronic device that doesn't require a degree in electronics to sync and operate!

Works well. I bought this to replace lookalikes that were dead on arrival. Well, it came with two, and only one worked for 5 minutes. Don’t buy the lookalike. Buy this one. Don’t try free universal remote apps on your phone either because they’re not compatible with every function your TV has and you’ll get advertisement popping up while you’re trying to use the app. This is worth it, especially for under $10. I am having trouble with using it with the cable box, but I think that’s more of an issue with the cable box or TV model. Hopefully I remember to update this after I call LG/verizon customer service.

great price, works great. all I did was put batteries in it and it was already synched to my old lg tv.

Our remote disappeared....and we do not have kids! This is listed as original replacement remote and is very close. A few features missing but none that affect the operation. Works great and no set up.

I bought another remote last February and 2 days ago it just quit working. Changing the batteries did not help,so I ordered this one. It seems very sturdy and works well.&’

Had to replace both of my remote controls for my LG TVs. One TV being over 10 yrs old. Wanted LG remotes, and not some generic brand that break apart in a couple of months like the one I purchased a few months ago. Didn’t have to pair them or anything. Both worked right away… highly recommend.

Lo adquiri aun sabiendo que nones el original...y la vdd no me arrepiento...la sensacion al tacto es mejor que el original...y funciona sin necesidad de configurar nada...solo 1 par de baterias nuevas y listo a usarlo.. Mi pantalla es de 55 pulgadas smart tv lg..
