Bought purple. Original Otterbox packaging sealed includes original Otterbox directions and info materials and warranty. Purple color is not too bright but exactly as represented in photo. Fits iPhone 8 snugly but perfectly. Slightly textured but not slippery at all. Seems as durable as my old otter box case. Speakers on bottom and those for hearing and speaking on phone, charge port, camera not obstructed and sound clear. Round opening in back showing Apple on back of phone. Hard plastic buttons over original iPhone volume and on/off controls, not the rubber button covers that tear quickly and easily especially on the toggle switch like lifeproof. Has rectangular cut out in rubber inside layer of case and the hard plastic outside opening for toggle switch on left and A. Doesn’t push switch down so your phone gets put on vibrate and doesn’t ring when case removed and put back on your phone and you don’t have to remove case to check to see if it’s set in the position you want B.Can easily view left toggle switch position and adjust per usual with fingernail. Lightning charge cable fits into port and removes easily. The fold back charging port cover is thick silicone/rubber and won’t break off quickly and made exactly like my old Otterbox defense model which lasted the life of the phone. Have had lifeproof Nuud and Fre and another style and all charging port covers were the first thing to break off and frame broke later exactly at one year when out of warranty bc lifeproof no longer has lifetime warranty. This new case was significantly less expensive than buying off Otterbox link. Really happy with my purchase.

Ordered this because I got a new iPhone 7 after I shattered my 6 and the case didn’t fit on my new phone that well. The old case overlapped the bottom of the camera so I got this one because it was very similar to my old case I loved. The only thing is that the plastic on the outer layer of the case isn’t as long on the sides as my old one use to be. It made me worry if it would be as sturdy as my old case. So far though I’ve had the case for a few months now and it holds up great with me dropping my phone and my daughter constantly throwing it on the floor. Update-love this case! After leaving my phone on the hood of my car without realizing it while putting my daughter in the car I left my phone on the roof. I drove through an intersection and it fell off and sat in the middle of a busy intersection for almost 25minutes and I’m very sure in that time a car had run over it because my screen protector was completely shattered. There was a small crack on the inside of the case and it didn’t even crack to the outside of the case. The only thing that happened was my phone got very slightly bent probably from a car running it over and because I had a pop socket on the back but my phone is still fully functional and it’s all thanks to this case and my awesome screen protector! Ordering this again because after dropping it a bunch of times after it being run over the small crack has cracked all the way to the outside of the plastic. Still the crack is only an inch long on top and still protects the phone.

The OtterBox commuter case is a nice protective case for your iPhone 7. The packaging was nice and I was very surprised how inexpensive it was. The case is a two layer case which does come apart and fits snuggly around your phone. It hugs your phone so tightly and that is exactly how I like my cases. It adds a little bit of bulk to your phone but not as much as most really durable cases. I would recommend this case to anyone who has a outside job, someone who drops their phone a lot, or moms who let their children play with their phones. The case looks nice and can be for male or female. I have really enjoyed using this case if I know I'm going to be doing something that might involve me dropping my phone. OutterBox makes great cases and for the price of this one you really can't go wrong. The case has a nice raised bezel over the front screen for front screen protection, it also has a fairly deep cutout for the camera and the flash. The buttons give you a nice satisfying click and the lightening port is covered for protection.

Love this case nice change from black. I used the same case on my iPhone 5 which I had for 5 years only had to replace the case once, and the first case took some knocking but phone had no marks or scratches. Highly recommend this case looks tougher than the previous case, as the corner cracked on iPhone 5 case due to structure and that there is less plastic support on the left side. You get what you pay for with this case and I would rather replace a case than a screen, the rubber layer protects the screen as it fully covers the whole phone which I have previously tested with and without a screen protector. Fits iPhone 8 too big bonus, and the fact this is the only case you need I wouldn’t buy anything else :)

So far, great to use. Easy to put on, protects the phone, and hasn't scratched or broken when it fell. The sound is loud and clear, and it isn't too bulky. The only possible downside is that the cutout for the lightning charger is a scratch too small for the non-apple cable that I use in my car. I can get it to go in, but with a bit of forcing.

Since the purchase a few months back, I have dropped the phone a few times and I must admit that the product quality is so good that there is not a scratch on the phone. The only downside is the price but I guess the cost is for the quality...
