Fits perfect in my sons GW lawnmower. Now, he can get his whole front and back yards done instead of having to wait for his only battery to recharge. It seems to charge at least as quickly at the original, and may last just a bit longer than the original.

Wow after fighting with constant charging of the 2Amp hour batteries that came with my blower and weed eater. I would have to use both to get my yard done and one would recharge while the other was being used. So it was actually like 3 batteries. Use 1 till it ran down then put it on the charger while using the 2nd one then that one would run out have about 1/2 a charge in the 1st one use it while the 2nd one recharged about 1/4 then finally use it up. I used this one and was able to use my weed eater and blower front and back yard. I have a corner lot and its about the size of two normal sized house lots. I have to do extra with the weeder because of the riding lawnmower not being able to get into the corners. As well as having the front side walk and 1/2 a block of sidewalk on side of house plus the driveway to use the blower and the back porch and deck. So this one battery and still had 2 lights left got it all done. That is a win.

I only have a mower and it's late in the season, so this is probably the last time I will use this battery for a few months. That said, I was subjectively impressed by how long it lasted during a mowing session. Function-wise it was indistinguishable from the OEM battery. Fit and release are both fine. This was billed as a 5.5Ah, though what was received is labeled as a 6.0Ah. My power meter only has two digits of resolution, so to the nearest 10W-hrs. Recharging the battery after exhaustion took ~190W-hrs. I basically assume that all non-OEM (and probably OEM for that matter) are rather liberally rated (was expecting 4-4.5Ah). So that's true in this case, but very close, ~90% of the side label on the battery itself and more like 95% of the advertised 5.5Ah capacity. Closer than I would have expected. Very appreciated that they used a more realistic number than that printed for their advertised capacity in their listing. A genuine Greenworks battery rated at 4.0Ah is double the cost of this genuinely 5.25Ah, making this an undeniable bargain. With any luck there will be no need to update this review: but if it falls short of expectations lifespan-wise, I'll be back.

I have a Greenworks 40V chainsaw for light clean up and tree cutting at my property. The saw works great and I really like it, but it would be nice to extend my work time with a spare battery. This one works well, it fits in my saw and charger and seems to provide good run time. I recommend it.

I would say the only disadvantage of this type of battery and the other ones I've ordered is they all seem to have a bit less amp hour than rated on the side. However they do cost much less than original batteries and they work well. Seem to charge at the same rate and a hold of charge when you're not using them.

The PDstation 40V battery that I received was a 6.0Ah in place of a 5.5Ah. The battery has strong power that lasts as well as the OEM batteries. This battery fits the Greenworks tools and charger and works perfectly in them.

Ordered this to have a spare battery to rotate out with my Greenworks blower. It typically goes through a 3 amp battery in about 20 minutes. I'm hoping this will last at least 30 min. The unit came with an approx. 50% charge. I let it sit on the OEM charger for approx. 18 hrs. It seemed to charge correctly. It fitted onto the tool easily, and worked for a 10 min. test, with minimal drain. All connection points were smooth and well finished. I did put a light coat of dielectric grease on the contact points to protect from corrosion, something I do with all battery terminals. There is a well written instruction guide for use. Very few typos and syntax errors. They did a good job on the warnings about high/low temp charging and maintaining the battery. The release latch was fully functional and no snags, or rough edges to hang up the lock/unlock process. I have not yet had time to use it to exhaustion, but it looks like this will be a good addition to the toolbox. This is a “buy” recommendation.
