This mattress topper is a life saver in college. I got this at the beginning of the year and so far it has been amazing. If you’re looking for something on the firmer side this is perfect for you, but it could also be great for whoever wants something softer if you pair it with a spring bed, which I feel is most college dorm beds. As far as durability it’s as good as new so far, no stains or smells. It fits so well on the twin xl mattress and stays in place, I also feel like it gives you a nice “home” type mattress feel with the foam being a little firmer and very stable. Overall my sleep is definitely much better this year as compared to last, so I think it’s a worthy investment if you plan on using it for your 3 or 4 years of college, and you could probably use it after if it fits your bed! Definitely a worthy investment!

I typically don't write reviews, but this deserves one. I bought this before purchasing a new firmer mattress as the one I have is only 1 1/2 yrs old but still needed firmer. I have herniated disc's in neck and back now after car accident. I was getting desperate for a solution. I was sleeping maybe 3-4 hrs and waking in pain. AFTER adding the 3in one to my bed- my sleep has been amazing. Obviously it will vary person to person. My sleep score went from a 30 to 80's in 3 days...I actually sleep and wake up with no pain in my back or hips. Definitely worth trying before buying a new mattress. I also had no smells after opening and allowed 48hrs to let it shape itself with zipper unzipped.

After sleeping on this mattress pad, I've noticed a significant difference in my back and hip decreasing in pain. Once I lay down I want to instantly fall asleep. The fit was perfect for my queen mattress.

I had a name brand for years and needed to replace it. They no longer made the same model so I had to shop for a different one. I read all the reviews in Amazon and decided to try this one. Glad I did. It’s excellent! Not too soft and weak but firm enough to avoid “bottoming out”. So far it’s perfect.

Reviewed alot of toppers on Amazon, the Perlecare topper took first place. The construction is excellent and it is exactly as described. Fit like a glove on queen mattress. We selected the four inch thickness, we suggest you do the same. Our last topper was a three inch. Lasted three years and began shrinking. It also held alot of heat in, not that cool. The Perlecare is a whole new story. After removing it from the box, we placed it over the mattress, perfect fit corner to corner. The straps are also a nice feature. It deflated within hours. The cover is well made and maintains its shape. As for comfort, it is medium firm. Is it hard or uncomfortable, NO! We have noticed that the softer a topper is, the faster it shrinks and develops soft spots. This topper provides comfort firmness and remains cool. Toppers are kind of designed for individual needs. My wife and I could not find anything to complain about, so we won't. Quality and longevity are what we were looking for and this topper will hopefully live up to it's description. Do your homework and you won't go wrong. Comp this topper in four inch, you'll find that extra inch is very comfortable. Good luck topper hunting!

I really enjoyed the way that my 3 inch topper felt it was very firm and perfect for me. It was also very comfortable. I also liked that I could jump on my bed and my bed wouldn’t move. The only issue I had is that when I would lay down, it would start to get really hot, and that was my biggest concern when purchasing this item was “is it firm” and “is it gonna keep me cool at night” while it is firm and it felt great on my body because I have a very bad back, it did not cool me whatsoever, even with AC blasting and thin blankets. There was a slight smell but it went away after i let it sit out for a few hours
