I had completely given up hope on my extremely anxious miniature Australian shepherd. We were looking at spending 5k on a trainer and I had tried everything including calming vests etc. Walks were impossible, and the slightest noise or movement would send him into a panic. Having guests over—especially male guests—was a complete nightmare. Typically, no matter how many times they visited, he would bark for hours until we finally had to give up and put him in a closet just to get some peace. Enter this dog corrector spray. I was skeptical, but from the very first use, it worked instantly. We had guests this week, and after using the spray just once, my dog was able to settle down. By the next day, he didn’t even need it anymore to stay calm around them. This is a dog that has struggled with guests for weeks in the past, and now, with just one day of reinforcement, he’s a completely different dog. The best part? We can actually take him on walks now! This is amazingly effective! I don’t use it often because my poodle and doodle are so afraid of the sound—I only need to press down once along with reminding them what it’s about: “no bark”, is the most common, but also, “down,” and “no chase.” They know these activities are taboo, which I think is essential for the burst of sound to be of any use. To expect it to work w/o the dog understanding what it’s for is to just frighten and traumatize her. It’s not a sound that bothers humans at all, but, wow! My dogs hate it. Now, my Bordoodle only needs to see the canister to decide to be obedient. I love the small size, too, because I can tuck it in my pocket or purse and bring it anywhere.

AMAZING!!! I have two very barky Pomeranians who bark over nothing, like me just getting out of bed or barking because one ran faster than the other to the kitchen. I felt like I was yelling at them all day to be quiet. But my vet friend told me about this and I’m shocked how fast it worked! It’s a hissing air sound that they don’t like. I only had to spray it like 3 times the first day and now my fur babies are calm , quiet and obedient. I let them bark when there is a reason of course, but they don’t continue non stop. They now see me as the loving authority instead of their servant. I love being around them so much more!

This didn’t work for my dog , he was 1 yrs old, I think has something do with what kind dogs . But this product my opinion is one you gamble just because with my dog don’t mean won’t work for yours

This is a good product - especially if you have a new puppy that is a "yapper" and you are trying to get his/her attention to stop barking. It gets their attention pretty well. Interestingly enough, the can gets really cold when you squirt the air (yes, it is pressurized air inside that makes a hissing sound that gets their attention). It is similar to those air spray cans you clean your computer keyboard off with but makes a much greater hissing sound. The problem is, it is not a good value for the money. This can is smaller than it appears and barely lasted through many "air squirts". Good working product, but It needs to be priced at about half the cost. There is a bigger sized can by the same company at Petco, but it is also overpriced. Worth a try maybe once, but if you're really trying to get your dogs attention, go to Academy or a sporting goods store & get one of their little air horns. It gets a barking dog's attention a LOT more! LOL!

This product has helped our puppy stop some behavior issues such as biting and excessive barking. (The only issue we have is that it takes a lot of pressure to get it to work, especially for seniors with weak hands)

I am sorry but it’s just a spray and so expensive.. it didn’t work on my GSD puppy and persian kitten.. they both were poker faced … it might have been useful for other since so many positive reviews but not for my pets….
