I'm using a Creality Ender-3 V3, which is a newer model. I did my research on filament types, most say PLA does everything and PET-G is more challenging. My experience has been the opposite. I bought Creality branded PLA (rainbow color) and had some good prints. But it had its share of issues. That filament is quite stiff and on at least a couple occasions it stopped spooling because it got twisted up on itself on the reel, and it's not flexible enough to pull itself off the next winding. What caused me to abandon this filament is it broke off inside the print head once causing a lot of aggravation and having to disassemble the print head. I suppose that's part of 3D printing, but I need something reliable. Swapped to this PET-G and so far it's a set and forget filament. Start a 4 hour print, come back four hours later and it's done with no drama. It does have some very light stringing at times, but it's a lot more flexible filament that comes off the spool flawlessly. No perceptible fumes, zero issues. It's also a more glossy finish which looks a lot better than PLA in my opinion. The only drawback I see is that it prints slower and it needs a hotter nozzle and bed temp (250C / 70C respectively). On the textured bed that came with my Ender-3 V3, I've had no problems with adhesion, even on tall objects. Simply put, my son and I love this filament for its ease of use and quality of the prints.

I usually print with Polymaker or Atomic PLA. Atomic produces some great company but it's around $32 a spool. You get what you pay for. At $12 for this stuff, I couldn't resist. I print a lot for my students and wanted something inexpensive. It prints great on my Anycubic printer at 200mm/s (base setting) sticks great at 30mm/s initial layer. 210 deg with 60 deg bed. .30 layer height, which is course for me. The blue thing is a pen blank for a student. Not complicated but there would be some artifacts at this speed of the PLA wasn't up to the task. Some stringing at this temp on other prints but not worth changing my settings for. Very strong layer adhesion at this temp. It's like solid plastic. Color was vibrant even though it looks dull on the spool. Spool was not perfectly wound but seems to be fine. The matte black benchy came out perfect as far as I'm concerned. I mostly print in polyterra matte black. May just switch to this. I would recommend regardless of price, but price makes it a no-brainer.

Recently left a 1 star review saying this was unusable. Found out it was my hotend, not the filament. Been buying this stuff for awhile now, and it's been every bit as good as the more expensive brands. Definitely recommend.

ETA: I wrote the below review, really disappointed with this filament. For unrelated reasons, I purchased a filament dryer, and put this filament in the dryer for a day or two. Properly dried, this filament has a fantastic matte finish. If you want to paint your finished prints, this filament is easy to post-process and has an almost ceramic finish. Since leaving my initial review (leaving it intact so you can see my experience), I've purchased 1-2 additional rolls of this filament. Again, it works best when properly dried, but if you have a dryer - this is one of the best filaments you'll find. Image is of the temperature tower I printed. I bought this filament after using a Matte White PLA from a few other brands, thinking that I'd at least give it a try regardless of the price point or other reviews from users. I ran a temperature tower and saw that the best temperatures for printing were 200 or 210 (noticeable stringing at 205) with a bed temp of 60. I'm using a magnetic PEI bed that came standard with my V2 Neo printer. The temp tower printed fine. Compared to my other PLA, the 3DHoJor PLA is INCREDIBLY brittle. A print I made fell on carpet and broke into pieces. I store all of my filament together, and have had no issues with other filament I own (so likely not a humidity issue - lockable plastic trunk with dehydrator packets and a digital hygrometer registering below the threshold). I have also had multiple issues with clogging and stringing. If you have the time and patience to troubleshoot, this filament is a good value. It might work for you. But if you're looking to queue a print and return to a finished, durable, well-made print... you might look elsewhere for your filament. I feel like I've wasted enough filament (I just completely disassembled my nozzle, hot end, and Bowden tube to clean out clogs after 20 minutes into a print that also stuck to my PEI bed - going to have to break out the acetone for this one, I think) to eliminate the value I thought I was getting.

Used 3-4 spools of grey pla+ already and just stocked up 12 more on my shelf. Prints great - no complaints on Bambu P1S in the ams box. Didn’t need to dry. Best bang for your buck pla out there

I'm in love with this PLA. It prints fantastic and is affordable. The winding isn't the best and looks a little messy, but I haven't had any issues with it. I've purchased 6 different colors from this brand and they've all performed flawlessly. 230C nozzle and 60C bed seem to be the ticket.

Although this filament isn't terrible, its definitely not the best. The color is almost like a glossy snow which is nice but the quality is lacking. The prints are ok looking but can tell where there were inconsistencies in the diameter of the filament. Never had a clog or issue with tangling or stringing.
