I needed some sugarless, aspartame-less, gum since I’m prediabetic and also just needed a pack that had a lot of gum pieces. It has like 40 pieces but technically it’s 20 servings cuz each serving is 2 pieces. I don’t mind it tbh cuz I don’t always want that much so this works out for me. Taste, sugar content, and money value is great, but it’s not as chewy and the taste doesn’t last too long BUT it gives me lasting good breath and and that’s what I wanted! Really refreshing mint!

My neighbor told me about PUR gum. Said he hasn't had a cavity since he has been chewing PUR and loves that there is no aspartame chemical in the gum!!!! I had been purchasing another sugar free brand for years. I like this. Good for my teeth and flavor is good. I like the larger packages that I can keep in my car or take some out of the larger bag and put them with my breath mints for ease of use. Since I deal with dry mouth and teach three days a week, I need to have a dependable means of keeping my mouth moist..

Just thought I'd try to review each flavor individually. But before I start, I have to say that in general, I think the mint flavors are best. They last the longest due to the cooling sensation, and do the best job freshening the breath. However, in general, the flavor doesn't last as long as sugared gum or aspartame/acesulfame K gum. I've not noticed any kind of G.I upset from chewing these, and I often chew several pieces a day. But I know some people can be sensitive to xylitol, so bear that in mind. As for the flavors: Cool mint- not a big fan of this one. It has a slightly bitter flavor to it, kind of like a cucumber mint taste. It lasts decently long. Spearmint- very tasty, very fresh, one of the longest lasting. It's one of my favorites. Wintermint- it's also long lasting, but has an aftertaste I'm not crazy about. To be fair, I'm not a big fan of wintermint flavor in most things. If you're a fan of wintermint, this might be for you. Peppermint- a strong, clean bite, very fresh and long lasting. It has a true-to-peppermint flavor. This is also a favorite. Pomegranate mint- this one is a surprise favorite, with the fruity flavor wonderfully complimenting the mint, which is lighter than the other mints. The pomegranate flavor is bright and strong, and lasts a decent amount of time. I have found that the flavor lasting time can vary from piece to piece, but I suppose that's to be expected. Bubblegum- I really want to like this one. The base bubblegum flavor is pretty good, but this flavor lasts the shortest time, and once the flavor is gone, it tastes kinda rubbery. Cinnamon- this one is pretty good. It's not a super strong cinnamon, but it definitely warms me up a bit and is as good for freshening breath as the mint ones. It's becoming one of my favorites, and easier to chew on a winter day 😉 It lasts decently long. Chocolate mint- I actually got this pack intending to try this one, as I'd had most of these before. And I'm glad I did. This one is surprisingly tasty, with a good full bodied chocolate flavor and a perfect hit of mint. Both flavors are well balanced, and when the chocolate disappears, the mint lingers. It lasts about as long as the pomegranate mint. So would I recommend these? Definitely, especially if you love chewing gum but don't want all the extra sugar. And buying them in bulk like this is pretty economical, as this bundle is much cheaper per pack than buying them in store. If you're new to Pur, I'd recommend starting with the mint flavors first. PUR Gum is the only gum I let my little boys chew because it is healthy and aspartame-free. Chewing gum is fun, but with 100% xylitol, they are also taking care of their dental health. It has helped reduce plaque on a massive scale, especially for tweens and teens. The variety is great, the flavors last a long time, and my boys love it!

The flavor changes as you chew it longer but good texture and helps me not snack too much. Sometimes I’ll chew four pieces one at a time as I’m watching tv sometimes or use them to cover up a bad taste in my mouth. If you are super sensitive in side your mouth or hated red hots candies you might not like this gum. Most would not find this gum to spicy and it doesn’t really taste anything like cinnamon.

Some people were complaining about the price, but 55 pieces for $5 or less of a dry mouth gum is a decent deal. However... that's assuming each of those 55 pieces compare to a competitors on a 1:1 basis. They don't. The gum is extremely thin, so two pieces are about the equivalent of one piece from a competitor. So it's more like 27.5 pieces for $5 which drastically reduces it's value. The flavor is immensely lacking. You can tell it's there but its very faint. It doesn't have that "burst" factor either. The flavor also dies out quickly. The dry mouth aspect of the gum isn't that strong either. I typically just use ACT dry mouth gum, but decided to try a few different varieties to see if there was a cheaper value to be found. This is the first alternative I tried and I'm fairly confident it's going to be the worse of all of them. It's just hard to give this anything above 3 stars. It's not bad... it's just lacking so much compared to competitors. But if it didn't have the dry mouth factor I'd never consider buying this. The value for money, the longevity, the taste, the portion size, and the dry mouth factor are all subpar and lacking. There's just better options out there. I might find after testing all these alternatives that ACT was the best value after all.

Good taste, I chew gum for an hour or so and the taste lasts the entire time. The first time I chewed this gum I noticed a sensation as if the gum was bulky and rubbery. That lasted for a minute or so. It has been a few days, I put 2 squares in my mouth and that is all I need. I maybe used to it, but it no longer seems rubbery or bulky to me. I use this as a breath freshener after meals. This works perfectly.

I've switched to this brand of gum specifically for the benefits of xylitol for oral health. I notice a difference once I switched to xylitol based products including this gum and xylitol based mouth wash. The pur xylitol mints are good, too. The cinnamon is my favorite flavour and seems to last a bit longer than the other flavors. Although, the flavour is still not long lasting which is typical of aspartame-free / more natural gum. I will keep purchasing for the oral health benefits.

Menthe verte : Le goût est bien là, très différent des arômes des autres marques bien connues, et il reste environ 20 mn en bouche, tout dépend à quelle vitesse vous le mâchez ! :-) Ils ne piquent pas, n'ont pas d'effet fraîcheur et c'est ce que je voulais. La composition est très bien, mais si comme moi vous avez des composites sur des dents, le shewing gum s'accroche dessus si vous le mâchez trop, puis sur les doigts pour le jeter... Malgré tout je les rachèterai. Cannelle : Super goût de cannelle, donc. J'étais contente de trouver cette saveur dans cette bonne marque aux ingrédients très corrects. Mais après que la saveur s'atténue, ATTENTION ! Ça pique crescendo bouche, langue, palais, à devoir le jeter tellement ça devient insupportable ! Je ne comprends pas : je ne suis pas allergique à la cannelle, je mange des aliments qui en ont et je n'ai aucun problème. Avec d'autres marques de shewing gum ça me l'a fait aussi : ils ajoutent du poivre ou quoi ?! :-/ Dommage car à cause de ça je n'en rachèterai pas. Bubblegum : Le goût se rapproche de celui des Malabar. J'étais agréablement surprise au début, mais à force d'en consommer j'ai fini par en être écœurée. Je n'en rachèterai pas. Pomegranate : je ne sens pas vraiment la différence de goût comparés au bubblegum. Cela dit même résultat : goût trop gourmand (pour moi), qui finit par m'écœurer, donc je ne rachèterai pas. Pas encore essayé les autres saveurs. Conclusion : je vous recommande cette marque pour la composition
