LRP discontinued my holy grail effaclar duo spot treatment which was also benzoyl peroxide, and I was heartbroken. I started using a general benzoyl peroxide cream and my skin was soooo broken out and terrible. I felt so sad and back to my 16 year old self trying to find any product to help clear up my skin. So I researched a bunch of “best benzoyl peroxide cream” products and eventually after reading tons of reviews found other people saying this was an LRP dupe. So after ONE NIGHT trying it, my skin has already cleared up so much. The relief I felt looking at my skin this morning was just unlike any other. The consistency is definitely thinner than LRP, but I like it honestly. It kinda dries out my skin the same way LRP did but I have a great moisturizer that works for my skin from using LRP effaclar duo for so many years. I don’t have cystic acne but a ton of tiny bumps all over my face. And I’ve never really known the cause. But LRP was the only thing that got rid of them. Now this. Thank God I found this. PLEASE DONT DISCONTINUE IT. or replace it with some retinol and claim it’s a good replacement. This works SOOO well.

The La Roche Posay spot treatment was discontinued, so i used the one they recommended to replaced the discontinued one and that DID NOT work. This has been the only one that is almost identical to the La Roche Posay spot treatment. LRP's was 5.5% BP and this one is 5% BP. I used it for 2 days and right away noticed my skin was clearing up again. I went like 2-3 years without cystic like acne on LRP products, and when they discontinued theirs I almost wanted to cry. This one is definitely a dupe to it! Give it a try. Does not dry my skin out either, of which because my skin was used to 5.5% BP already.

I don’t usually write reviews for products, but I felt this one truly deserved it. I was La Roche-Posay Acne Treatment, Dual Action user, and it was the product that finally cleared my skin. Then, it was recalled, and I couldn’t find it anywhere and had a total meltdown. Reading some reddit threads and doing research, I decided to give this product a try. My skin took to it super well, and I didn’t have any of that it gets worse before it gets better stuff to deal with. For anyone who is looking for a La Roche replacement, I highly recommend this product. For context, I am 23 and have extreme combination skin. I use the extra strength benzyl peroxide, kiehls moisturizer, and aquaphor on my eyes and around my nose, and this is what finally cleared my skin. Hope this helps anyone who is struggling as well. Best advice I can give is listen to your skin, and it will tell you what it needs.

I’ve been using this brand for a long time, but I was a bit disappointed with this cleanser. I’m not a fan of the texture or how well it actually cleans the skin. It doesn't remove makeup at all — I have to use a separate product first, and even then, after washing with this cleanser, my skin doesn’t feel refreshed or light. I wish it were better. Also, the price of this cleanser is a bit too high for the size of the tube.

I'm 22, and I have awful hormonal cystic acne breakouts on my chin - you can see the scars a mile away. Usually, once I start seeing flare-ups all I can pretty much do is buckle down and ride it out. Riding it out takes about a month, a lot of cysts form and cluster and get very red, then I can't help but pick them out of desperation and they end up purple and horrible and inflamated. I've cried over this. A few days ago I bit the bullet and randomly got this bc it said that it helped with cystic acne and oh my god. I had 3 cysts on my chin developing and 2 are already pretty much gone and the biggest one is on its way to being gone. You can still see the redness, but when I press down on them they no longer hurt and feel VERY small. If I keep using this for like a week I feel like they'll probably be gone completely. Steadily but surely it's helping out the most out of all the remedies and face washes I've tried. It stings a tiny bit (like, VERY little for me, it's hardly noticeable) and I feel like people who have had peeling/burning problems have been applying it wrong by using too much. After I wash my face I do my face routine on the rest of my face except for my chin, then, I take a cotton swab, put a dollop that fits on the swab and I apply it to my entire chin area, rubbing it in. Really, the most you should be using on an entire area like the chin is about as much as you can fir into the tip of your pinky. Sometimes I double it but it should evenly spread and not be visible (aka, don't just leave cream dollops visible on top of every cyst) have a thin layer on the area. I've only been using it a few days but my jaw doesn't hurt when I open it due to the skin pulling on the cysts so I count that as a win. I wasn't expecting to see overnight results and it doesn't give you that, but you can definitely start seeing the difference in less than a week.

After receiving the product, within few days I noticed white worms like particles inside the gummies. I dont know what was it but had to throw it away.Reviewed in the United Arab Emirates on September 28, 2024

Please do a patch test, as I did not do patch test and applied on a larger area of my body. It gave me very bad rashes with extremely itchy skin. I was not able to sleep for so many nights and I couldn't bear anything touching my skin even clothes. I had to see a dermatologist & take medication.

Used this product for the first time and it felt really nice on the face. Unfortunately when I went to dry my face after I rinsed it off it bleached my brand new grey towel. I was not happy! I ended up throwing it as I thought if it can do that to a towel do I really want that on my face. No thank you!!! So if you do choose to use it make sure to use a white towel to dry your face afterwards

Wanted to like this product but it burned my face and left it so sensitive and painful. Feels fine to put on then starts burning 5-10 minutes later. Couldn’t even tell you if it works for the intended purpose as I stopped using after 3 days. Not good for my skin at all!
