I used it for plane traveling with my 15lb senior cat. The large was perfect but too big to fit under the seat, so I had to buy the medium size. He was a little snug in there but when waiting and during the flight I was able to open the sides to give him more space and he loved that! The flight was only 2 hours so it worked out good, I wouldn’t use it for longer traveling as he cant stand up and stretch.

It packs well for travel. It was a life saver traveling from Mississippi to California with our new puppy. Our pup was safe, comfortable and had lots of room to stretch. The various options of access, so the functionality of it made it incredibly easy to access. Very durable and worth the value.

I bought this carrier because it was the only one that was short enough to be compliant with Allegiant's dimensions. I also needed something that could fit both my cats. I'm very happy with this one! My cats are about 9.5 lbs each, so unexpanded the carrier is definitely cramped. However, as soon as I reach the airport gate, I'm able to expand it so they have plenty of room. I even completely expand it under my seat for the flight, though I probably couldn't do that if I didn't have short legs. The mesh has held up against the claws and teeth of my escape artist. I also really like the fact that there are lots of different ways to stick your cat in-- makes it easier when I have one cat in and need a good vantage point to stick the other in. My orange boy also thinks it's his bed, which must mean it's comfortable. Good quality for the price and would definitely purchase again.

I bought the smallest size for my 10 lb cat. I haven't traveled with it yet but I did set it up, my cat immediately got in it and approved. He thought it was a fun toy and hide out spot for him in the middle of the kitchen. He loves tubes and things like that. I'm not sure he will love it as much at the airport. I think I might buy a different carrier (the Petskd top and side expandable, as it has those features and also folds) as the one I want to travel with, but keep this one in my carry on just in case. Although it folds, it uses zippers to stand itself up and felt just as sturdy as one I had previously that didn't fold.

Click to play video As promised, I am writing this review after a 20 hour trip to Europe from the USA. This carrier was reliable, sturdy and secure throughout the whole trip. I took a total of 3 flights (2 with Delta, 1 with Alitalia) let me start by adding that I am also 6 months pregnant and managed this by myself! That speaks volumes on how reliable the carrier really is. I will suggest you not pick a 2 seater by the windows on delta because you will be cramped up for space. Luckily the flight attendant was a sweet lady and got me a seat in the middle rows on the aisle and I had an empty seat next to me so there was plenty of room for me to stretch out. I was even able to take him out the carrier and let him sleep on the seat discreetly next to me. The only thing I would change is the faux fur lining on the inside, I felt it made it hot in the kennel for my pup when it was all the way zipped up. But other than that, this carrier was amazing. It fit perfect under Alitalia’s seats as well. Highly recommend this carrier and especially for dachshunds who have a longer build!!! Look no further, this is the carrier for your fur baby. The expandable sides are super comfy and spacious! PS: this carrier did NOT come with the rolling attachment, it was from another carrier that I bought.

I was never a fan of soft shell carriers for my rabbits due to the fact that they could chew right through them, however, after my current rabbit had a hard time with a plastic carrier that had been my go-to for so many years, I decided it was time to give a different carrier a chance to see if it would be a better option for her... And let me just say I'm never going back to the bulky, plastic carrier! My favorite thing about this carrier is that it has SO many options to open up and get your pet in and out easily! There's a total of six ways you can fully open the carrier. The mesh sides also fully open which I was pleasantly surprised by. She has a lot of fun running in them! It has two, sturdy handles and also comes with an adjustable strap. It also has a firm, fuzzy pad and a leash clip for those who needs to strap their pet in to the carrier to make sure they don't jump out. The inner lining of the carrier does seem to be waterproof however I've not tested. I typically keep it on the floor and open for my rabbit to explore in and for her to get used to, but it does collapse and fold up for easy storage. Just for specs, I purchased the medium, airline approved, carrier in green (size: 17" L x 11" W x 11" H) and my rabbit is 6 pounds. It seems spacious for her which is great! This carrier seems sturdy and I'm hoping it will last for years to come.

I have flown with my dog for 11 years now and I have never found a carrier that made her feel cool enough and calm - until this one. Initially we were going to buy the one side fold down insert, but as I planned to use this for day to day use, I sprung for the two compartment model. Please note that model is about an inch taller, it fits however in an Air Canada and West Jet cabin under the seat. The first time we flew with this our flight was delayed and I zipped open the compartments and she slept comfortably. Two other dogs on our flight were cooped up while we waited to board. When I fly with our dog in this we always get comments and people ask where we got it. Pros: - The bag itself is sturdy and has a frame that will keep it upright even when you're carrying it. There is nothing worse than carrying your dog and feeling like you are making them roll around! - The front, back, and top panel ventilation kept my dog cool during the flight. - The zip out compartments are perfect for layovers as the dog can stretch out and lay comfortably. - Great for day to day use, you can allow for as much or as little space for your furry friend! - There is an attachment that allows the bag to slide over the handle of your rolling luggage. - There is a handy pocket to put your tickets, treats, doggie bags, leashes, etc. When I set it up she climbed in immediately and promptly fell asleep!

This bag is very sturdy and great quality. If you need a frame that is not flexible, this is the right one for your pet. I love the option to expand it on both sides and the shoulder strap is very comfortable to carry the bag around (my dog is 9lb). But be careful, the height cannot be adjusted, as it is absolutely not flexible. So for some air crafts with max height lower than 11 or 9", this bag won't be accepted. Another con is that the expandable parts do not have cushion, which is available in other brands.

As soon as I opened this product my cat was so obsessed and has not come out. I love the versatility of the product where you can open the sides during car rides or when the plane is in the air. You can also close up the sides and use them as storage pockets! The base of this product is so soft that I will not be needing a blanket for extra cushion. The quality of the product feels amazing and my cat and I could not be more pleased!!! For reference he is a big cat 14 pounds and even with the sides closed it’s spacious.
