Alright, I admit, this one is better than my previous three electric tooth brushes. I definitely do feel like it simply scrapes more gunk off my teeth than the previous ones. I think that trumps anything else I can say about it. I think it makes this a 5 star product. But saying that, it's hard to be terribly excited about it. It's the latest and greatest, not a miracle. I did get this particular toothbrush off the recommendation of my dentist because the battery powered Oral-B electric tooth brush I was using previously wasn't doing enough for my oral health. And I feel like it has lived up to the requirements there. It does seem to be giving me back what I put into it. Battery life seems excellent. With all those positives, I have to say, it's still an electric toothbrush. I like that it is colored black instead of an ugly tooth enamel white but it is still the same basic shape as my previous rechargeables. It's definitely better, even the best, but it's still the same general product. It's hard to feel like it is an epic upgrade instead of just the latest model. It's still the same car, not a ferari. So, adjust your expectations accordingly. I definitely do like the travel case when I'm traveling. But it's sized for this brush so it's kind of big. It's slightly larger than any of my glasses cases. So it's a somewhat annoying space waster when I'm not traveling. I also am not particular sure why it is shaped the way it is. It is meant to carry the body separate from the head and has two spaces for two different heads but so far as I'm able to tell, there's no particular way to distinguish one brush head from the other. Which leaves the negatives to talk about. So far I've been obeying the instructions on how to clean it but the cleaning instructions are finicky and more work than I want to do. All of my prior electric toothbrushes had the toothbrush head snap on tight so nothing would get into the gap. The gap between head and body of this tooth brush is substantial for a product made in the last few years. There is plenty of room for things to leak inside. Additionally, the instructions for care specifically say to watch out for that and clean it in a way to compensate. That seems like bad design to me. I am not happy about that. I also recall two toothbrushes ago, which was a completely comparable product, coming with a little colored ring that would help cover the gap and allow you to mark which head was yours so two people could hygienically share one toothbrush body. So this seems like a step back in that regard. Especially since it makes a point of saying you should take it apart to clean the pieces separately each time anyway. I am having trouble imagining myself keeping up the recommended cleaning regimen over the long term. At which point, I don't know how well it will keep exceeding my previous brushes. The two buttons for controlling the functions of the tooth brush are not easy to tell apart and are not particularly intuitive. I'm mostly just hitting a button and deciding that will do. That speaks to the power of the brush, which is great. Whatever it does by default is better than what I was doing on purpose before hand but it also means I don't have any particular idea how to get the most out of the toothbrush since it is supposed to be doing more than what I am doing in terms of adjusting the functionality for different dental health tasks. It'll do but I'm pretty sure it is keeping me from being blown away by it. Finally, my biggest gripe is how the timer works. The toothbrush is set for two minutes. At the end of two minutes it simply stops. It doesn't do some kind of extra buzz or other alert. It just shuts off. Dead. The first few times I thought I had pressed one of the buttons by accident since it is very easy to do with the placement of them. But no, that's how it is programmed to work. It's a tiny motion to turn it back on. Like I said, those buttons are easy to press. But it feels obnoxious in the same way as having to interact with AI everywhere. I don't want the machine to do that work o deciding when to shut off, that's my job. In the end, I would say, if you're going to be buying a new electric tooth brush anyway, buy this one. But I don't particularly think everyone should rush to replace what they've got with this game changer. 5 stars good, not your life will fundamentally change amazing.

I purchased this about five years ago and I love it! It has worked wonderfully and is a great toothbrush. I purchased it when It was on sale for around $90 as I wanted a replacement for the other Sonicare toothbrush I had. The thing I really appreciate about this is the more ergonomic friendly handle compared to other versions of the Sonicare. This is much smaller and fits nicely in my hand. And I absolutely love having a toothbrush that is a nice color. The white one was fine but having a smaller toothbrush in a color more appealing to me makes it even better. The replacement heads are reasonably priced in my opinion. Having the ability to charge it before I go on a long weekend get-away and not need to charge it until I return home is another excellent feature I enjoy. Overall, a wonderful toothbrush that will serve you well.

This is my first Sonicare—and I ♥ it! It thoroughly cleans my teeth and has great power. The battery holds a charge for a good amount of time, and overall, it’s been a solid upgrade from my previous rechargeable brush . I’m very particular about dental hygiene, so a recommendation from me means I truly do love this product. My only wish is that the brush head were a bit larger and firmer, but otherwise—it’s perfect!

8 MONTHS OF USE: Im writing this after using this tooth brush for 8 months and my first dental visit since using it. I am not exaggerating when I say my appointment at the dentist was 15 minutes!! First time in my life I have gum issues due to a med i have to take. My dentist said I had a little plaque build up but my gums look perfect. The scraped my teeth for a few minutes but nothing crazy this toothbrush is AMAZING and i truly feel like my teeth are cleaner

It’s gentle, effective, and the pressure sensor really helps protect my gums. The battery lasts forever, and the travel case is great for trips. Highly recommend

It's ok overall but so called modes (brushing, gum care etc) are just different timer durations, total waste of money. It also slips in my hand while I'm brushing because the handle gets wet from my saliva. It's main competitor manages to stay in place. I like the longer battery life (vs the competitor) - one brush on mid intensity lasts for more than a week for two people, no need to take a charger while on a week long vacation. The travel case is way too bulky. Also, unlike the competitor there is no way to add some kind of identification on brush heads (like color rings), so I had to put a big scratch on my brush head to reduce the chances of mixing it up with my wife's brush head.

Powerful, lightyears ahead of any toothbrush I had ever used prior! I thought the Crest Spinbrush was ‘fancy’ til I splurged on this. Immediate difference - mouth felt different after very first brush and has ever since . The brush head replacements are expensive but can usually find a good deal at Costco.

This is such a nice toothbrush! I’ve been wanting to purchase one for a while, so when this one went on sale (in purple!!) I knew it was time. It is easy to use, convenient to travel with (it has a nice charging case), and it works very well.

Recommended by our family dentist and hygienist. This has been a game changer with oral health. Best toothbrush ever owned, and does a truly effective job of cleaning teeth and guns properly.

I have been using this tooth brush for a little while now, and although it is weird to be using an electric toothbrush after so many years without using one. It does a great job. I just got to get use to how it vibrated in my mouth.

It’s strong and whiten the teeth. You feel like you just came from the dentists office. I love it!
