I have had a few electronic toothbrushes but this is my first philips 6500. After using it once I can feel a absolute difference my teeth feel clean. I like the vibration adjustment it is extremely powerful, more than other electric toothbrushes I have used. it was a bit pricey but comparing it to others I have used, it is clearly different and better in my opinion. I love that you can charge it through the travel case but my only dislike or worry is the travel case latch, I wish it was a little more secure I travel a lot and can see it opening up because it is only held close by magnets. That might change though after I travel with it for a bit.

Teeth feel super clean. I like that it gives you prompts to change to a different area. Feels way stronger than the cheaper ones sold at the store.

I purchased this about five years ago and I love it! It has worked wonderfully and is a great toothbrush. I purchased it when It was on sale for around $90 as I wanted a replacement for the other Sonicare toothbrush I had. The thing I really appreciate about this is the more ergonomic friendly handle compared to other versions of the Sonicare. This is much smaller and fits nicely in my hand. And I absolutely love having a toothbrush that is a nice color. The white one was fine but having a smaller toothbrush in a color more appealing to me makes it even better. The replacement heads are reasonably priced in my opinion. Having the ability to charge it before I go on a long weekend get-away and not need to charge it until I return home is another excellent feature I enjoy. Overall, a wonderful toothbrush that will serve you well.

I’ve purchased Philips Sony care electric toothbrush in July 2020. It cost me $179.90 and of course plus tax on top of that. At beginning of January 2025 the toothbrush stopped working. And it cannot be fixed. What a waste of money. What a shame to Philips. My cheaper(only $65) toothbrush Oral-B still works after almost 8 years of using.

This is such a nice toothbrush! I’ve been wanting to purchase one for a while, so when this one went on sale (in purple!!) I knew it was time. It is easy to use, convenient to travel with (it has a nice charging case), and it works very well.

As a first time electric toothbrush user — this Sonicare toothbrush seems to deliver a fantastic clean. My teeth definitely feels smooth and polished after every use. After much research, I chose this over Oral B due to the slightly longer (*but not amazing) battery life, included travel case, and ease of cleaning. The settings could be more intuitive, in my opinion. Having to hold the on/off button between 3-6 seconds to enable the pressure sensor and the brush head replacement sensor needs to have more differentiation as far as getting confirmation feedback in the form of vibrations. Honestly despite being two different settings, the vibrations felt like I enabled the same thing twice. The product team should add a more differentiating audible tone or something to clearly differentiate the two features instead of making it feel more like a cryptic puzzle. Speaking of the product + design team... I'm also disappointed with the design flaw of the chrome finish. Within just 3 DAYS of using the toothbrush, the chrome started peeling off after getting wet. This is not only aesthetically displeasing but also raises concerns about the quality and durability of the materials used. For the price point, I expected a more premium finish that would stand the test of time + water exposure — especially for a product that's been in the market for this long. It's almost as if the engineers did their job, but the product/design team called it in out of laziness OR some executive decided to cut costs on a "not so important" design element. This is absolutely unacceptable for a product that is this expensive and because of the laziness of the chrome finish, I will deduct one star. Despite that minor complaint... Overall I'm satisfied with it's effectiveness of brushing teeth.

8 MONTHS OF USE: Im writing this after using this tooth brush for 8 months and my first dental visit since using it. I am not exaggerating when I say my appointment at the dentist was 15 minutes!! First time in my life I have gum issues due to a med i have to take. My dentist said I had a little plaque build up but my gums look perfect. The scraped my teeth for a few minutes but nothing crazy this toothbrush is AMAZING and i truly feel like my teeth are cleaner

I’ve had this toothbrush now for 4.5 years and am impressed. First off, the thoroughness of the teeth cleaning is amazing. The sonic waves leave teeth incredibly smooth and clean. I also keep getting compliments that my teeth are super white. Not bad for a coffee addict. Although there are three settings (whitening, gum massage, clean), I have been using just the cleaning function. Most amazing is the battery life. Although the travel case dubs as charging case, the toothbrush worked for two weeks straight, brushing twice a day for at least 3 minutes each time.

I have been using this tooth brush for a little while now, and although it is weird to be using an electric toothbrush after so many years without using one. It does a great job. I just got to get use to how it vibrated in my mouth.

It’s strong and whiten the teeth. You feel like you just came from the dentists office. I love it!
