This is the third time I have purchased this hose and now every faucet has one. My old rubber hoses were so heavy and kinked all the time. I just love this one. You just turn on the hose and the hose expands. Water, and when you are done turn off the hose and it shrinks up on it's on to a manageable size, neat and compact. I wouldn't buy any other kind now.

Well, where do I even begin with this hose? Let me tell you, I've had better luck teaching my cat to speak fluent Mandarin than getting this hose to work properly. I was excited to water my plants and finally live out my dreams of becoming the neighborhood's top-notch gardener, but alas, this hose had other plans. On the second use – and mind you, I was treating it like the fragile piece of technology it clearly was – the hose decided to give up on life. I thought, "No big deal, I'll just shoot them an email, and they'll surely help me out, right?" Wrong. I sent a message describing the whole saga, and it was as if my email got lost in the Bermuda Triangle of customer service. Feeling like an internet sleuth, I sent another email. And lo and behold, I got a response! It was like finding a unicorn riding a rainbow – a rare and magical event. They instructed me to call their 800 number, just a tiny $6.99 fee away from resolution. "Alright," I thought, "I can do that." Well, let me tell you about my adventure through the phone lines of mystery. After navigating the labyrinthine phone menu, I finally got connected to a customer service representative. Or was it a stand-up comedian? Because this person had me in stitches! I could practically hear the tumbleweeds rolling across the call center as they fumbled through the script, struggling to understand my issue. After what felt like a journey to the center of the Earth, I was transferred to another operator. Or should I say, I was connected to the International Barking Dog and Chicken Choir? The background noise was so intense that I had to wonder if I'd accidentally stumbled into an animal sanctuary. As the operator tried to communicate with me through what seemed like a bad satellite phone connection from Mars, I was hit with the realization that my credit card details were about to be shared with someone who may or may not be conducting business from a chicken coop. And the barking dog? Well, that's a twist I didn't see coming. Credit card info was staying put, thank you very much! Long story short, this hose turned out to be the gateway to a wild global adventure – without ever leaving my backyard. I'm still on the lookout for a hose that doesn't turn customer service into a stand-up comedy show, complete with animal sound effects. If you're looking for a hose that doubles as a ticket to an international sound-effects symphony, this is the one for you. Otherwise, consider yourself warned – you might end up giving your credit card info to a barking chicken farmer from Mars. Mine had a something inside it that would only sometimes block the flow. Took a while to figure out what was going on. Made me think the nozzle that comes with it was broken but other nozzles did the same thing. Obstruction finally blew out after a lot of messing around. Seems ok now. I still haven’t tested the nozzle it comes with. Very aggravating beginning. The plastic sections feel cheap to me, but its overall weight is very light. I have to tighten connection pretty well by hand for it not to leak but need a tool to loosen if hands or connection are slightly damp. There’s no good knurling or sizable flats to provide grip. I’m not sure how well the aluminum with work after it starts to corrode. I do like how compact it is when not in use. Maybe the copper ones are better.
