So just wanted to start the review out by saying....DO NOT TAKE THIS ON A CRUISE SHIP. IT's a fire hazard. Why would you think it is okay? Now.....for the moment of truth....Lol jk but seriously I like this little dooflickey. I bought this along with a 15L portable washer and it's enough to hold a couple of garments. I wanted to address some of the comments and combine my own. I saw that one comment said that the bottom of the clothes do not dry....which is partially true.... the bottom of the clothes do dry you just have to maneuver them on the hanger, for one and two, not expect your clothes to be dry in 1 hour especially if you just washed them. I'm a large girl so what I do is let the pants dry on the hanger and then towards the end of the drying cycle take the pants leg and pull them upwards towards the top to get the ends of it dry. Some people put the full amount of garments that can be held in there...I only put at a max , three garments and spaced them out. I saw that someone had a timer for 60 minutes. I leave mine at the 470 mark. Someone said they heard rattling in their motors. I had this device for about 2 days now and this morning I heard the rattle because I was being rough with adding on more clothes. So what I did was gently adjust the motor from the inside. Didn't hear it again after about 3 minutes. I like this method of drying my clothes better than using my ceiling fan and my heater ( which is costing me a lot this winter)..... Also....if you are living in the winter climate.... just a suggestion because I did it this morning..... lol put your clothes in here for about 5 minutes and then but it on and go outside. Lol it was -4 degrees and I didn't feel a thing.

It’s not just super convenient, it actually works better than my dryer. Obviously it can only hold an item at a time or so which is the trade-off, but I’m really glad I found this and it’s been perfect in our RV.

Click to play video Works very well for regular clothes, nothing too heavy such as jeans. Probably would take forever to dry. Same thing with bed linen. Took about 4 hours to dry so I will just take those to the laundromat. Works great for towels also. Great dryer for the price. I would recommend. ***Update*** I bought another unit since I was satisfied with the first one. It has been a little over a month since I have had both units. I notice they both started making a noise as if the fan was straining to turn when I turned them on. I turned the units off and restarted and the noise stopped. BOTH units are making this noise so it is not like I got a defective one. I have to turn the units on and off on both!!! I am updating to 3 stars and will change it again if the units fail. I have a bad feeling about this. Too bad, I really liked them.

Good things •small size •Portable •just for emergencies Bad things • takes at least 1hr. 30 min. to dry clothes when it’s full • need a special hanger to dry underwear ,socks or small clothes • not hot enough to dry clothes rapidly

This portable clothes dryer goes to work with me every time I travel. It allows me to wash and dry work clothes on the road, letting me travel more with less stuff. The power cord is usually too short to reach an outlet near the hotel closet, so a short extension cord helps make sure I can use this everywhere I go. My work clothes typically have high nylon content, helping them to dry in as little as four hours with this machine. The dryer is not heavy, though it takes up considerable space in my checked luggage.

Portable, yes. might be ok for very light fabric but not much good for heavy jeans especially if the jean are lined. Not ideal for large items either. Probably have better results by draping the clothes over your shower curtain and then using high power hair dryer.

I really like this little dryer. I had to hang it on my shower rod due to lack of space in my kitchen. I’ve been using it for about 3 months now and I haven’t had any significant rise in my utility bill. I personally wouldn’t put more than two outfits or the equivalent of, in this dryer at a time. It just takes too long otherwise. Your pants dry faster if you tuck the ankles over the top of the hanger. You also get pretty good results if you slip a dryer sheet over the hanging bar before placing hangers in the machine. It doesn’t change the softness but the clothes will smell much fresher. The durability is good. I’ve been using it almost daily for several months and haven’t had any issues with the functionality. I can’t really say whether the sanitizing light does anything but it makes me feel better to use it since it is flu season.
