The Portable Transfer Pump Battery Operated Electric Siphon Pump is an incredibly convenient and practical tool for anyone needing a reliable solution for transferring various fluids like gas, diesel, oil, or water. This pump makes fluid transfer quick and easy, and its versatility makes it an essential addition to my garage. What I Loved About This Pump: Easy to Use: The pump is very user-friendly. The instructions are clear, and setup is straightforward. Simply attach the inlet and outlet hoses, turn the pump on, and it starts transferring liquids with minimal effort. The battery operation makes it even more convenient for use in places where access to electrical outlets is limited. Impressive Flow Rate: With a flow rate of 2.6 GPM (gallons per minute), this pump moves liquids efficiently. It handles gasoline, diesel, water, and oil with ease, making it ideal for car maintenance, draining water, or even transferring fuel. Portable and Lightweight: The compact design and lightweight construction make it easy to carry and store. I can easily take it with me for on-the-go jobs, whether I'm refueling lawn equipment, transferring oil, or moving water. Battery-Powered Convenience: The battery-operated feature is a huge plus. No need to worry about plugging it into an outlet or finding extension cords. The rechargeable battery lasts long enough for multiple transfers before needing a recharge. Durable and Sturdy Design: The pump is well-built and designed to handle a range of fluids, including fuel. The high-quality materials ensure the pump lasts for a long time, even with regular use. Versatile Use: This pump isn’t limited to just fuel or gasoline. I’ve used it for transferring water, oil, and even for emptying small tanks, which makes it a true multi-purpose tool in my home garage. Things to Keep in Mind: Battery Charging Time: The charging time for the battery can be a little longer than expected, especially when the pump has been used frequently. However, it’s not a major issue if you plan ahead. Hose Length: The hoses are of a decent length, but depending on your specific needs, you might want slightly longer hoses for larger tanks or distance. Real-World Use: I used this pump for transferring gasoline into my lawnmower and other outdoor power equipment. It made the process much quicker and cleaner compared to using a traditional funnel. The pump also worked well for draining water from my boat after a rainstorm, and I’m planning to use it for fuel transfers in my vehicle maintenance routine. The 2.6 GPM flow rate is fast enough to make the task efficient without being too overwhelming. Why It’s Worth It: The Portable Transfer Pump is an excellent investment for anyone who regularly deals with fluid transfers, whether for vehicles, lawn equipment, or draining tasks. It’s easy to use, saves time, and eliminates the mess typically associated with fluid transfers. The battery-powered convenience makes it particularly practical for use anywhere without needing an electrical outlet. Final Verdict: The Portable Transfer Pump Battery Operated Electric Siphon Pump is a reliable, efficient, and versatile tool for anyone who needs to move liquids quickly and cleanly. Whether you're using it for gas, diesel, water, or oil, this pump makes fluid transfers a breeze. It’s a must-have for anyone who does regular vehicle maintenance or works with different types of fluids. Highly recommend for anyone looking for an efficient, portable, and easy-to-use fluid transfer solution!

It sucks, but in a good way. I bought this to siphon the gas out of a project car so I can drop the gas tank and it did the job perfectly. The only real issue that I have is like stated in other reviews, the tubing likes to float. This was not a big deal for me as I dropped the tubing below the tank baffle by hand (through the top of the tank with the fuel pump cover removed) and had no issues although this may be troublesome if you are looking to do the same WITHOUT opening the top of the tank and manually feeding the tubing. I would recommend buying this, the tubing is "good enough" quality, the "check-pump" works great and it really is very easy to use. I considered this to be a good value and it will be used again.

I received the product and used it the same day to transfer gasoline from a gas can to my truck. It performed excellently and was easy to operate right from the start. The instruction booklet seems well written. For those using the siphon to transfer gasoline (or similar liquids), I recommend immediately flushing it with a gallon of dish soap water, followed by a gallon of fresh water. This helps thoroughly clean the siphon and prevents the bulb from deteriorating over time. To ensure all moisture is removed, it's best to use compressed air to blow out any remaining water before your next use. However, the Amazon description is slightly misleading. In the "Warm tips" section of the instruction booklet, it clearly states "NOT for drinking water." The product description should explicitly mention that it is not intended for use with drinking water.

The pump valve worked a couple times, then stopped. I spent over 30 minutes trying to figure out why and couldn't. A day later I tackled it again. How complicated can it be? I pulled off both ends of the rubber siphon pump. Starting with the end piece that has the little spring loaded valve looking thing, I took a pair of very pointy tweezers and inserted the tweezers from the end where the hose connects, and pushed out the plastic piece and spring, which came out pretty easily. It had some gunk in it. (small bits of dirt, etc) I cleaned it up and put it back together. I tried to do the same thing to the other end. (This end doesn't have the same appearance and there is no little black plastic valve looking thing like the other one had.) I didn't take this end apart but blew it out with my mouth and made sure water would run through it. I also used a flashlight to see if anything was obviously stuck inside. After putting both ends back on the pump, it worked. One strange thing is that now the pump seems to work in the opposite direction from the arrow. I tried reversing the 2 ends. (took them off the switched them) Still the pump only works in the opposite direction from the arrow. Very odd. At least it's working now. It would be great if this thing came with a detachable screen/filter to use to prevent clogging. Also a detachable weight of some sort to hold down one end of the tube in the water/liquid would be great.

I’ve used this to siphon bad fuel out of my four wheeler, Siphon transmission fluid out of the dipstick hole for a fluid change without dropping the pan and it works great I really wanted to get one that attaches to a drill and I might still get one but this little thing works great just takes a lot of pumping It’s not fast by any means
