A very good price and a very nice addition to have. Even has similar crackle and pops during the ancient mariner narration that I still struggle to hear! (yay vinyl)

I am going to leave it sealed, but I love the artwork and vinyl design. A welcome addition to my collection.

Powerslave is Iron Maiden fifth studio album, and the second with Nicko McBrain as drummer. I’ve been a Maiden fan since 1982, and this was my 5th Iron Maiden album. The album was ranked number 38 on Rolling Stone's "100 Greatest Metal Albums of All Time" in 2017. It is a solid one starting with “Aces High,” “Two Minutes to Midnight,” “Losfer Words,” “Flash of the Blade” and “The Duellist” on side A. Side B you have “Back in the Village,” “Powerslave,” in finally the epic “Rime of the Ancient Mariner.” I own the 1984 (and still have) and a couple of CD’s of Powerslave. This review is about the 2014, 180-gram vinyl LP. I played the record on my Fluance RT82 with a Concorde Mix cartridge (the green one). The sound? Amazing! These 180-gram records sound incredible on my turntables; the vocals, bass, guitars and drums clear and loud. I highly recommend this version of the album. For me is hard to rank my fav Maiden album (TNOTB was my first album, and it was the one that really got me into Maiden), but I play them frequently.

This I one of my favorite albums by iron maiden and now I finally have it on vinyl record. The record sounds great,I have this on cassette and CD, I don't own a hi-Tec record player, to me this album sounds great, I am very happy with my purchase, great solos, awesome bass lines, this album rock's.

So, we were at the Guns and Roses concert a year ago .... and my daughter and I got in a conversation with a guy who was wearing a Maiden t-shirt with the Eddies on it. And, she started looking up Maiden videos on youtube. Then Trump got elected and I kept thinking about how 2 Minutes To Midnight pretty much summed up our global situation. A madman who, at the time of the writing of this review, is threatening Korea and ramping up the rhetoric to include nuclear weapons. It seems that no matter where in the world, or where in time, the lyrics of Maiden apply.
Aces High is a brutal look at the life of the crews defending England from the Blitz in World War 2. It puts the listener right THERE. The music is perfect as is the singing, but the words and meaning are like a dentist's drill hammering straight to the heart of the matter (or your teeth).
Then, they hammer you hard with Powerslave.
And after all that, they retell the Rime of the Ancient Mariner, an epic poem from 1797. This is why Maiden is so timeless. They tell epic stories with blistering guitar, perfect drums and a singer with the sound of an air raid siren. This is NOT mindless metal.

É realmente um acontecimento na música pesada, um daqueles trabalhos tão afiados e imponentes que duram por décadas, isso que o Iron Maiden sabe fazer de melhor e por muitos considerado seu auge criativo.

I'm strange in that I have more experience with newer Iron Maiden music. Just now getting the older stuff. It's all great.

Almost 40 of age, this 1984 release is still as enjoyable as when I got it as a x-mas gift (on cassette) the same year, myself being just 9 years old...
My kind of odd favourites on the album are "Flash of the Blade" & "The Duellists", but the Grande Mariner-finale will always stand the test of time, forever.
