If you’ve been wondering whether or not these work. THEY DO! I bought these a while ago, showed them to every family member, explained how to use them, told everyone where I’ll be putting them and… forgot about them. Well I have to admit that I caused a plastic plate to melt and catch flames on our stove tonight. Yikes… I had left the kitchen before it happened and luckily my 11 year old noticed and immediately grabbed the fire blanket. He was able to successfully distinguish the fire without hurting himself Honestly I don’t want to know how bad this could have ended if we didn’t have these and he would have wasted time finding and getting me first. They are DEFINITELY worth the money and they don’t make a mess unlike fire extinguishers do… so on the bright side… we were still able to enjoy our dinner. I think it’s important to point out again that these are easy and safe enough for KIDS to use in emergency’s. Now I’m not encouraging kids having to use these but I think you get the point… Just grab them and don’t try to save money for once. These are WORTH. It.

This was an impulse-buy a couple years ago after I saw one of their ads. It was a purchase I thought I would never use. Well, tonight fate struck. I added the wrong type of oil (low smoke point) to a hot pan and it burst into flames within a few seconds. The fire was only a foot high initially. I turned off the burner, but the flames quickly grew to over 3 feet, reaching our vent hood and adjacent cabinet. I grabbed the blanket, opened it, and had the fire out within a few seconds. Zero damage, no mess to clean up, and so fast/easy to use (compared to a fire extinguisher). Our cabinet would’ve been damaged and could have caught on fire if the flames weren't put out when they were. So glad we had this within reach when we needed it. Thank you!!

One would certainly hope there is never a need but if there is - here you go. These blankets are a way to douse a fire safely and efficiently. Like any mother, I worry about the children after they move out and get their own place. As a gift for them and as a comfort for me, I bought a large pack of fire blankets so I could give one to each of my kids and grandkids for Christmas. And now I feel more secure...

This is an super item! All you have to do is pull down the cord and the fire blanket comes out .Then you probably throw it over a stove or grill fire! I ordered six of them for my friends already! They all appreciated the quality of the product! I also ordered the well made hook so you can attach it a inside closet or utility room inside cupboard! It was the best money I ever spent!

I bought a 4 pack for Christmas of 2024. I kept one and used the 3 others as gifts. I had to use mine today to put out a small fire on my stove. It definitely did its job! The only complaint I have is the fiberglass type fibers that transfer from the blanket. But a small price to pay to prevent your house from burning down!

We kept one of these for our house and gifted the other 3 to our kids. They are compact and easily hung up. Unfortunately, we had to use this not long after getting it and can tell you from firsthand experience they work very well. They are reusable as well, so the money spent on them is definitely not a waste. I am thankful we got these in time and would recommend everyone get at least one for your house, if not one for every floor of your house.

Kept one for myself and giving the rest as gifts. I love the sense of security, knowing this is handy and easy to use with fires. Even a child could be taught to use it. Simply rip the package open and throw blanket over the fire!! My apartment also furnishes a fire extinguisher, but I'm worried that during a real emergency I will be 'all thumbs'. Plus, the clean up after an extinguisher is extensive.

Fire blankets are used in oil fires where the accelerant (oil) is not miscible with water. Most household cooking fires are oil fires, definitely need an excellent-quality, certified fire blanket along with an ABE extinguisher. 5/5.

Product arrived earlier than expected date. Item was well packaged. The red safety blanket cover is made well and has the kite safety coding written clearly identifying that the product waz made to meet all required safety standards. This was important to me that safety standards of blanket were observed in the making and the item was made in the UK holding the UKCA and the CE mark. I feel confident now that I have this product should tge eventuality of a fire occurring
