Had to try it out. The trout pictured is 14 inches, which is the minimum in our state. The mullet gel works well and should last longer than the shrimp oil does. A little dab’ll do ya. It stays on for multiple casts, too, unlike the shrimp oil.

Works as advertised, when the mullet are out on the flats and you need that edge to attract the predators, procure produces in spades! Use on the Zman products for a 1-2 knockout and you don't need to use much as it's extra sticky!!

Applying the gel is easy (obviously) and it lasts just about the whole fishing trip. It does make the line and your hands slippery so if you need to tie on a new lure or leader keep that in mind, you can just wipe it with a wrap or use non slip fishing gloves.

I have had luck with this gel on my plastic grub bait on pacific halibut her in California. Before this, I was hitting, but not as much as now with the gel. It is sticky rubbing it on the bait and stinky as it should be. If you are on a pier, look for that sink and wash well or your fingers will smell like you been doing something naughty.

I love using these on my artificial. Most berkley gulp come scented but works great for those unscented. Will make a difference.
