I haven’t notice any sand leakage. The durability and size was great. I don’t notice a strange smell or anything which was a plus. It was easy to adjust to me and my spouse. It has a great affect when using it to go running just wearing it throughout the day.

1 - I very rarely review products, but I had to review this one, because of the -few- negative comments, to provide my thought. I am 175, 5'10", very active. I mainly bought it to hike at moderate pace w the dog in the woods and on trails. I do from 1-6 miles w it, feels great, good weight distribution, after a bit you forget its there. I also use it at the gym for pushups/pullups/and to add general weight/resistance to farmer's walks, curls, squats, deadlifts. I tried the 20, it a was a bit on the lighter side, but it fit more snug and was a bit more tailored. The 30 is a great weight, but it comes in a bit bigger size, so not as snug for me, I adjusted the straps to smallest. It is very good for above mentioned workouts. It slim enough where I can even lie on my back and do bench press. IN REGARD TO NEGATIVE COMMENTS: Weighted vests are NOT made for running, for jogging, for tennis, basketball, ballet, or anything like that. I did a lot of research, you are not supposed to do those types of dynamic exercises, you can pull muscles, damage your vertebrae, damage joints, pinch a nerve. They bounce a little and that makes for more risk of injury. The sizing comes for a typical average body, a 30LB vest I would say would fit a 5'10"-6'4" quite well. But if you are on a very small short side, or are very very husky, or very overweight, or have gigantic breasts, then perhaps you should take that into account and perhaps not get one. It is silly to run w a weighted vest. In regards to sturdiness and how it holds up, we shall see, I only used it for 2 weeks. But then again, its heavy, so I don't throw it around, or smack it hard, after all its made of fabric, material that can rip if you hurl it far and with its weigh of 30LB.

When I first received my vest I just wore it around for household chores to get used to it. Those first couple days I wondered whether I picked the right weight, seemed too heavy. I have been healing from an ankle injury, and wondered if it was too much for my ankle. I finally started feeling more comfortable around the house, so I wore it on a short dog walk. My ankle felt a little sore, no big deal. Continued to wear it on longer walks, as much as my ankle could handle. I’m now walking 3-4 mi a day in it, and in general, I have a significant reduction in my ankle pain. Once it became the “norm” on my daily walks, when I forgot it, I would turn around and put it on. Now it feels weird to go on my walks without it. Fits nicely, weight feels balanced btn front and back. No chafing. I haven’t worn sleeveless tops with it yet, so that may change. It fits under my down vest, I’m in Denver, we wear puffy vests almost year round. 😂 highly recommend.

This is a very good weighted vest for the price. The quality is very good, and overall it’s not terribly uncomfortable. If you’re walking or running you’ll want to pull the straps tight. My only gripe is that it smells due to whatever material it is filled with to give it the weight. The odor isn’t terrible or foul, but it does smell and I can walk into the room it’s in and get a whiff every single day. It hasn’t dissipated since having it last four weeks, still present. I’m fine with it. I bought a 12lb to start out with. So for reference I’m 172 lbs and they say a good rule of thumb is to start w 10% of your body weight. I’ll tell you that I’m glad I started w the 12 pounder bc after the first two walks/ gentle workouts I could feel it was working. Wasn’t terribly sore, but definitely felt it the following day. Thats how I know it’s working! The fit is pretty good , but if you are larger busted, you might have some trouble with spillage between the two front straps across the chest or a uni- boob. I’m a DD cup and as you can see in pics it splits the girl’s horizontally. (I do have on a banded sports bra) It doesn’t bother me though bc I’m 49, finally love my body, and don’t go to the gym to impress anyone other than myself! My only question is that if I was to wear a tank top, would my arms rub against the sides, causing chafing? I won’t know until we’re in the warmer temps. Overall, I am pleased with the product. It serves the purpose, and I am looking forward to growing into heavier, weighted vests as I continue my strength training, and I’ll likely but this brand again.

This vest was exactly as described. We have two of them and they are both used frequently. I am so glad I bought this brand after looking at many others. There has been no pellets that have leaked. I was worried that it might smell bad after some other reviews but there is no smell to them! The 30lbs vest fits a little loose but the 20 lbs is great! Great purchase and great price!

Definitely an excellent weighted vest for walking on my NordicTrack Smart Treadmill for 45 minutes. I know it will be lots easier, at age 47, to keep my metabolism rate in check using this weight vest when walking each morning. This vest is well made and it has a material that's high quality and soft fabric for those of us with sensitive dry skin. Definitely worth the money at such an affordable price. I like how easy it is to adjust the two front straps.

This is the first weighted vest I’ve tried so nothing to compare to. I’ve used it twice now and I like it. It appears to be good quality and it wears comfortably. As mentioned by others, it does have a strong chemical smell. I’m hoping that wears away as it is powerful and might make the best unwearable for some who are sensitive to odors. The mesh pocket on the back is useless in my opinion as you could not reach it at all with the vest on… and the vest is heavy so awkward to take off and on simply to get something from that pocket. Overall good and I’m sweating more/burning more calories on my usual walks.

I've jumped on the weighted vest for walking bandwagon and love it! I'm a 5 ft 3 in woman (145 lbs) and bought the 12 lb size. This vest is comfortable to wear while walking outside or on a treadmill (well, once you become accustomed to the extra weight) and is easy to take on and off. I do feel that it adds some extra intensity to my walks. In the past, I've tried walking with a backpack with extra weight (i.e. Rucking) but the weighted vest is much more comfortable as it fits closer to the body. The front straps are quite long for me, but I was able to fold them over a few times within the loop. The only downside to this type of vest is that you need to replace it with a new one when you want to increase to a higher weight, but I suppose I'll gift it to a friend when that time comes.

Good even weight distribution. Only complaint is I have larger chest and the clips don't clip below the bustling so sometimes rides up a bit

Product it self looks ok! But the original photo showed two front straps and the product sent to me came with one front strap. Bit disappointing.. the entire weight of the west is 6 pounds and I ordered 8 pounds! Value for money definitely not worth it!

Too small for an adult, a bit stinky (cheap material)
