I've been using this for a couple months now and I can say that it gets the job done. I didn't use the actual stand part that you attach to the dashboard/windshield so I cannot comment on that but when it's attached to the AC vent, it holds on really securely. I drive pretty roughly and corner really hard at times but not once has it detached from the vent, so you don't gotta worry about your phone flying out the window when making turns. I rate this a solid 5 out of 5 stars.

This is a great product. Easy install. I didn't put it on my windshield. I have a large galaxy Samsung and even in my truck the view would be too obstructed and I didn't want a ticket. I put it on my dashboard which was tricky due to the dash set up but it works! Has never popped off and my phone is heavy in comparison to smaller phones. My only complaint is when you pinch the sides to stabilize the phone it take me several times to get them to click tight. Sometimes they just won't so the phone isn't secure. The button on the back to release the stabilizers is easy to get to and I can do everything with one hand. I cannot rotate it due to the position it sits in but I have no need to rotate it anyway.

I wish I know about this product sooner. It’s super good. And I like it a lot. It’s adhesive enough, easy to install, haven’t fell off since several month ago, even able to hold my iPhone with thick wallet phone case. Strongly recommend it!!! My earlier one broke my AC vent, that’s why I’m looking for an alternative. I don’t need to worry about if it would damage anything on my car.

I bought this in late January soon after I became a pizza delivery driver. Around late March, early April (around 3 months later), the suction no longer worked. The sudden and constant changes in temperature each day worked hard on the suction until it couldn't hold on any longer. After that, I relied on the air vent holder that comes with the package. That works fantastic 5 months later. However, the release button on the back of the phone holder became really finicky to point of practically making the whole thing useless. I no longer use this product because after only 5 months of use (using it many times per day, at least twice with each pizza delivery, plus personal activites) it takes about a minute to get my phone out of it. I'm sure if you didn't use this product quite as much as I do, it would last you a much longer time. While it worked, it did it's job incredibly well. I could see my phone and the map at a glance. It was very sturdy, as well. The arm tended to bounce with the car, but it all held well. And even better, the actual phone holder section never shook and never went out of place unless I myself moved it. I wish the button still worked. I truly did love this product until then, but unfortunately i have to find a new one.

I bought this phone holder for use on my old land rover; it works great mounted to the window and takes a beating holding my larger phone. Material and build quality are great. It was also shipped fast and was a great value.

This phone holder seems pretty robust. I haven't had it long enough to see if it will stand up to the Texas heat. I already had a smooth disk mounted to my dashboard to mount the unit where I wanted. I don't remember if it came with a smooth adhesive mounting disk for my dashboard or not. The phone gripper holds the phone tight and the system is fairly ridged. The only thing I don't like about the actual phone holder is that the release button is at the very bottom (on the back) and my old holder was at the top (on the back) so it took a lot of getting used to. The good news is the 'ball' that holds the phone gripper on the extension arm is the exact same size as my old phone gripper. So I replaced the gripper with my old gripper. Now I have no complaints. For the price it is an excellent deal.
