My mother is really into scrapbooking and is always looking for new, fun things to do in her hobby. So I figured that this mom storage jar would be an excellent fit. This way she has prompt guidance for the journaling of a special scrapbook dedicated to her own life. This gives her a scrapbook project to work on and also a gift to give back to me next Christmas (or two) as a completed book about her life. This can then be passed down to my kids. Plus, the best part is that it conveys the message that she is loved and that we care about her life experiences. The kit comes packaged in a high-quality press board box with a removable lid. The lid has a gold embossed logo with “Share your story” printed on it. The jar itself is of good quality with a nice label on it indicating its clear purpose. This sticker which is adhered to the jar states in a straightforward manner “Mom, I want to hear your story.“. The label also breaks down the color codes for the different categories, including childhood, family, and marriage, education and career, hobbies, life, wisdom, and parenting. The jar is sealed with a giant cork, which is easily removable and replaceable. Each slip of paper inside the jar has a different question relating to its color coded category. The kit also comes with a piece of twine attached to a leather tag that says “Made with love” (“love” actually being a heart) which I thought was a nice touch. All things considered I think this is an excellent gift.

I had seen something like this awhile back and regretted not getting it, so was excited to jump on this one now. Good quality jar and cards, too. Would be a great conversation starter around the dinner table, either for our kids to ask us, or for them/us to ask my mom. I like that they are color coded into 6 categories, so you can specifically ask the questions you're interested in. The Childhood and Life Wisdom ones are the most interesting to me, but I could see that the Parenting ones could be helpful for new parents. I'm putting together a photo album book for my mom's 80th birthday, and I may incorporate some of the Questions/Answers for a little something different and insight into her life. Recommend!

The lid on my Qunrwe Mom, I Want to Hear Your Story Jar doesn’t stay on very well but it will probably be beneficial for my mom with arthritic hands. I like that there are different categories. The papers are a nice quality, they feel nice and the print is easy to read. I’m interested in some of the other jars they sell now.

Some categories include childhood, family, Marriage, education & career, hobbies, life wisdom and parenting. The answers can be combined and document for future generations.
