The rain delay feature has also been beneficial, ensuring I don’t water unnecessarily after rainfall. My only concern is the plastic connectors, which seem a bit delicate, so I’ve handled them gently to avoid issues. This is my 5th Rainpoint timer I've purchased. I use these for watering my yard, my garden, my potted plants and my animals. This 3 outlet version is working beautifully for automatically keeping our horse and chicken water troughs filled. The 3rd connection is convenient if we need a connection for another use. The setup is pretty easy if you've ever used a water timer before. It's worked flawlessly so far and gives me peace of mind that the animals will always have fresh water.

The company has made the screen bigger with more information and it is easy to understand what you have programmed. It is easy to program each zone and is very well built in my opinion. I also like the brass inlet which adds extra strength in case it gets bumped. I had no trouble programming this. It is easy to understand even without reading the instruction manual, which is also very good. You definitely do need the instruction manual to activate it the first time because that part is not intuitive. It requires pushing a button while inserting the last battery on the back to start a testing function. My faucet doesn’t extend very far from the wall, so this was awkward, but I’m not sure where else they could place the batteries to make it more convenient. Overall, I am really pleased with this product.

Easy to use. Favorite feature is that you can manually turn on more than one zone at the same time, none of my other timers do that. And wow the screen is readable in the sun! It would be better if the instructions for “unlocking” the valves were simpler. That took a few tries. And having to take the batteries out to stop the testing was a bit sketchy if you didn’t time it right you’d get wet and definitely want to keep the battery compartment dry.

I had previously purchased a 4 outlet RainPoint timer. It was not usable as there was not enough water pressure flowing thru to my 3 head sprinkler system. I even made sure to have the correct size 3/4" hose required and still not enough water pressure. This new 3 outlet Rainpoint timer is a major upgrade over the previous model. I was familiar with the setup already. The menu setup is easier, the larger screen is a plus. Best of all the new 3 outlet Rainpont timer worked flawlessly!! I was impressed!! I have a large yard and this will save me so much time!!

I have the RainPoint 4-zone timer and am very happy so I thought that I would try the 3-zone timer with it's advanced features, the setup seems to be the fairly the same, this system does all the math for you as it will only open one zone at a time so you will be able to set all zones for the same time and it will water all zones one at a time, (at the times configured) The Manual feature is useful, The manual walks you through each step and it is in clear English making it easy for the average person to read. having indents on the back of the case makes it easy to handle and the large display is a nice feature. I would recommend this timer

These are my go-to for hose timers. I have 2 of the four ports, 1 of the three ports and 1 of the two ports. I'm really happy with the new brass hose spicket for additional durability, but I have never had trouble with any of them. My oldest one is 4 years old.

This item comes with a complete instruction manual (English and Spanish only). All made of plastic requires 2 AAA batteries that aren’t included. What I like is that Teflon tape is included as well as a spare filter. I like that the battery compartment door is sealed to prevent water seeping through and reaching the batteries. Both manual or programmed options. Fully programmable (minutes and hours). I cannot quite test it out since it’s winter time here but it’s well made with a large enough screen to read but it doesn’t have a backlight screen. The plastic rivets seem quite solid. I find the rotating knob easy to use as opposed to other models having buttons to press.

This sprinkler timer is fabulous. It is easy to set up via the dial switch. There is an included manual so if it doesn't come intuitively you can read up how to do everything. I have had no issues with leakage. I love that there is a rain delay and an override feature. I'm just thoroughly impressed.

This water timer is a handy way to manage watering your garden and lawn while you’re away or when you have to deal with watering restrictions when it gets really hot in the summertime. Thanks to the included instruction manual, it’s pretty easy to set this up to the schedule you want. There’s also an override button so you can water or use the garden hose when you want. It also has a rain delay feature so you don’t have to worry about overwatering your lawn after a hard rainfall. I’m glad this comes with a brass fitting to attach it to the water spigot. I think this will help create a better seal to avoid leaks. I do hope this water timer will last, though, given how aside from this brass fitting the rest of it is made from plastic. But the fact that you can register this device for a five year warranty hopefully means the build quality is such that this won’t be an issue.

So far this timer is working well. I especially like the dial to set it up. Very intuitive. Both the input and output valves seem to be fairly sturdy. The bulk of the timer however is made from plastic, so best if this was in a sheltered location because I don't expect it would take much banging about. We have hard water, so will be interested to see how this stands up in the long term. Will update my review if need be.

This is a sturdy water hose timer that threads easily onto a hose connection. It's very easy to set up, just walk through the steps. It does come with a manual if you need help though. This device feels well made and will last a long time. It'll be perfect to have this for the summer during garden season.
