Bought this to protect myself from wrongful accidents. Works great. I messed up the mounting using their adhesive tape on the windshield because I rushed the installation because I was so excited. I'm guessing that is why they give you 2 of them. Second time was the charm. Very easy to use.

Decent quality and works great so far, feels solid and sturdy, picture and video quality are crystal clear at 2k, night vision is good too, you can’t go wrong with this dash cam, what I like the most is it came with double-sided tape base other than suction base, once installed, feel secure and sturdy , time will tell if this thing last

Click to play video Great Experience with the REDTIGER F4 Dash Cam for My 2024 Honda CRV I recently installed the REDTIGER F4 dash cam in my 2024 Honda CRV, and so far, I’m extremely impressed with its performance. The installation process was straightforward and quick, especially with the optional hardwiring kit (sold separately). Once installed, the camera has been running smoothly, providing 24-hour recording without any issues. Just be sure to check the locked folders for footage when needed. Connecting the camera to the app was hassle-free, although if you're using CarPlay or have driving mode enabled on your phone, you’ll need to turn those off to avoid any connectivity issues with the REDTIGER Wi-Fi. The only minor drawback I encountered was the cable length—it was just a bit short for my preferred placement, but I still managed to route it to the fuse box under the steering wheel without any problem. Overall, I’m very satisfied with the REDTIGER F4. It’s a solid choice for anyone looking to add a reliable dash cam to their vehicle!

It's very easy to use. Easy to hardwire. Great quality video and easy app to use. Redtiger has dope customer service. They sent me a rear outside waterproof camera for (free). You can choose between a rear camera or the hardwire kit. I already had hardwire installed so I went with the waterproof camera. Dope services and cam. Definitely my recommendation🤙🏾🤙🏾

Very neat looking unit. Should not attach to windshield in California, so we have it on dash. Just ordered a stick-on disk to attach camera. I had a problem with power cable but the Customer Service was very quick in replacing it. Controls are very easy to use.

I like that the size is small enough. It keeps driver’s view intact. Setup was pretty easy too.

example in the attached screenshot: 0 PM :) - english in the manual is rough around the edges, but generally understandable. - the UI is good enough to navigate without the manual, except a couple of things, but not responsive, and sometimes difficult to select the right thing. - as soon as i installed the camera it became obvious that there is no functional HDR. Look at how overexposed the windows are, and you can't make out the license plates on the cars that are close by. I'll give this camera a chance by driving it around, especially at night, but if I can't make out those license plates, I am going to return it.

REDTIGER F4 4K Dashcam Review. The dashcam arrived factory-sealed and neatly packaged with foam inserts and a plastic recyclable pouch to protect it during transit. Installation was straightforward using the included power socket adapter. I used my vehicle’s OBD II port to power the dashcam, allowing it to enter parking/sentry mode. In this mode, the USB-C OBD II adapter turns off power when it senses the battery voltage reaching 11.6 volts. The adapter can also be set for driving mode only, where it shuts off power to the dashcam when the ignition is turned off. If the included power socket adapter is left to run the dashcam overnight, this could drain your vehicle’s battery. The USB-C OBD II adapter was a separate purchase and can be found on this site. At this price point, GPS tracking, Wi-Fi connectivity, a touchscreen and voice commands are welcome features often found on higher-end dashcams. The voice commands work well, and the touchscreen is responsive. A built-in supercapacitor is also a plus compared to a battery. The dashcam’s compact build makes it less visible to passers-by. The dashcam records in 4K… I think. When examining the recorded footage on my computer, the dimensions of the video were consistently 3840 x 2160 (or 4K). Outdoor footage has decent detail, but license plates can only be viewed directly in front of the dashcam from about a car length away. The dashcam encountered difficulty picking up details when the license plate was angled off to the side (vehicle in an adjacent lane). The detail is not as sharp when comparing the dashcam footage to the 4K footage from my iPhone 15 Pro. That said, dashcams are designed to capture the whole picture of how an accident happened. Even if the license plate cannot be read, there is proof that an incident occurred. This dashcam should have no problem doing this. I have provided a few photos and screenshots of the video footage from the dashcam so you can decide. I cannot post photos/videos with license plates for obvious reasons, so enjoy the scenery! The dashcam provides location, vehicle speed, date and time stamps on all photos and videos. These particulars have been removed for privacy. The dashcam can be mounted on the windshield or dashboard. I mounted the dashcam on my vehicle’s dashboard, though the extra mounting plate could be used for the windshield. The mounting plates are self-adhesive and provide a solid mounting solution for the dashcam. They also offer a way to remove the dashcam quickly for maintenance (lens cleaning, SD card installation/removal) or to prevent theft. The dashcam settings can be adjusted on the device via touchscreen or through REDTIGER’s app. The 32 GB SD card included is a nice gesture. The dash cam will accept SD cards up to 512GB! At this price point, this dash cam has many features worth considering.

This is my first ever actually good quality dash cam. I have driven with a dash camera for the past 15 years, when they were only still popular in Russia and not quite yet Canada. Anyways they were always this cheapy thing that worked but always had me worried it would fail when I needed it most. So to experience the nice features that this camera has to offer was very interesting and comparing the technologies then and now is like night and day. I read the manual and found the max capacity Micro SD card that could be used and so I ordered one specifically designed to handle being overwritten a lot. So with lots of memory I like to be able to shoot in high resolution as it might make the difference between capturing a license plate in good quality so there is little doubt as to what you are seeing. The trade off is a drop in framerate and so I think I settled with 1440p as my middle ground with longer recordings. It might be my imagination but i found the screen to be less responsive then I hoped. However when I went into settings and changed the frequency from 50 to 60Hz I think it made a difference in speed. Or at least smoothed out screen transitions a noticeable amount. I always like to give some personal advice in my reviews to make them a bit more helpful. Anyways once you get all the settings adjusted to your liking its smooth sailing. At first was really impressed with the wifi function and parking bump monitoring but then it occurred to me that this did not come with an internal battery. I assumed they all did but I always thought the batteries were terrible anyways and its probably a good thing as it gives room to better electronics and cooling. The only problem is that my car 12V jack turns off when the car is off. Currently my temporary solution is to leave a portable battery pack plugged into the device when I am out and parked. I can see through the camera using the wifi feature and go through the videos from there without having to take out the micro SD card.. I really do want to keep it always on and since thee main car battery is already 12V I might just hardwire a more permeant solution for the plug using a current limiter to always let this be on since this product is fairly low powered in standby and screensaver mode. The camera itself is very good. It offers picture at a high resolution in both photo and video format. Also be thankful that once this badboy is stuck up on your glass, its not going to be falling down all the time (like my current on because it uses a nice high quality 3M adhesive sticker) that won't ever fail you. But don't fret as it comes with special anti static paper so the sticker will never touch your windshield in the first place. It is quite neat stuff. Its a nice dashcam! Fancy by my standards and so consider me impressed!

Full featured dash cam that can record up to 4K resolution. I found that the sensor wasn't able to handle large contrasts with sunlight falling on shiny parts or windows blowing out the highlights to some extent. Being able to read license plates clearly worked when the cars were close and head on in view. I found the standard HD setting to be a good trade off between clarity and file sizes that would maximize the storage space on the included 32 GB micro SD card. The dashcam can support cards up to 512 GB in size. The unit records, date/time, speed and GPS location making it easy to verify location in the event of an incident. You can select it to run all the time, but be aware it will slowly drain your battery when the engine is shut off. There are settings to perform an auto shutdown when battery voltage drops to 11.6 volts or to shut off when the ignition is off. An app is used that can be installed on your cell phone to control the unit. The cam supports WIFI so recordings/notifications can be sent to your phone for immediate backup/sharing. Voice control allows you to command the unit to "take picture" for example when you want to capture something without taking your hands off the wheel. The collision G sensor will cause the unit to automatically record if the car is struck in a parking lot for example. The unit comes with a USB-C power cord which allows some flexibility in power. When parked, you could power the unit with a separate battery backup to keep it on without draining your car battery. This is a small unobtrusive unit that can be mounted on the dash, or up high on your windshield.

The Redtiger dash cam is easy to install, with good picture video and convenient features. The camera comes in a sleek box and includes everything you need to get started, including a free 32GB SD card. Installing the dash cam is simple, thanks to the intuitive design and included adhesive mount. The 2.2-inch touchscreen makes it easy to set up. The built-in GPS and WiFi features are helpful for quickly connecting the device to your phone. The camera starts recording as soon as it's powered on, and the quality is excellent. The 4K resolution provides a detailed, clear view. The night vision works well, providing clear footage even in low-light conditions. I like the hands-free voice control. It’s convenient to operate the camera while driving, allowing you to focus on the road without having to press buttons or fiddle with settings. The built-in GPS provides useful data about your location and speed, which could be important in case of an accident. It's easy to access and share recordings through the Redtiger app, making it simple to review footage on your phone. The 24-hour parking monitor gives you added security when your vehicle is parked. The camera automatically locks footage when it detects a collision, ensuring important moments aren’t lost. Overall, this dash cam offers excellent video quality, a user-friendly interface, and practical features at a reasonable price. Full marks from me!

I already have a front dash cam installed, so I decided to mount this one in my rear window. My front dash cam came with a remote cabled camera you can put in the back, but I was not keen on trying to run that cable unobtrusively through my car. Using a separate camera in the back was just so much easier, and since it is 4K you can easily read license plates and signs in the video. In my SUV, I was able to pull off some plastic trim on the rear door and have the power cable for this camera follow along the cable for the rear windshield wiper, then plug it in to a cigarette lighter plug in the back. It is a perfectly hidden install that only too about 15 minutes. This is the first dash cam I have seen that comes with the tool to remove auto trim, and cable clips. I like that this camera is voice activated since I can just yell out “Take Picture” whenever I want to save an image of who or what is behind me, and of course it is also recording video all the time. The GPS function works very well and when you use the software you can see the exact location on a map while playing back your video. With the iPhone app, you can use Redtiger’s built-in wifi to adjust settings and see your recordings. The camera comes with a 32GB microSD card, but I do not trust using non-brand name storage for important data so I replaced it with a 256GB Sandisk. With storage being so inexpensive I recommend doing this.
