I researched dash cams for years. I became paralyzed by the vast array of options and prices. I decided to go with RedTiger due to their quality advertising and other reviews, and they happened to be on sale. The traffic in the Phoenix area grows increasingly aggressive and I felt an urgency to protect me and my wife in the event of an accident. I purchased two of these, and I could not be more pleased. I am 68 and was able to able to easily install both in one day completely by myself. One in a Prius and the other in a Dodge Journey. Each came with both the front and rear facing cameras. I initially worried that hiding the cable over the length of the vehicle would be problematic, especially with both cars having hatchbacks, but it was super easy with the tools provided. I am very pleased with the clean installation, wires and cameras barely visible. The quality is outstanding! From the very beginning, you are presented with high quality packaging, superbly protected products, and well thought out designs. RedTiger includes tools, guidance, and documentation necessary to be 100% successful. Functionally speaking, once installed, I started the car, drove off, and afterward, checked the video. Quality was amazing and the app blew me away in the playback mode. It shows the position of the car on a graphical map with direction, speed, etc. as well as the hi def video. It is a small investment in money and effort for a tremendous amount of peace-of-mind. As long as the car is on, it is recording front and back. It automatically replaces the oldest recordings with the newest, so you only have to retrieve them when the need arises. It comes with a 32GB card. I'm not sure how many days of videos that will hold, but I'm certain it will easily meet my needs as I only expect to retrieve them in the event of an accident. If you are on the fence about getting a dash cam, don't wait until it's too late. RedTiger is a winner.

I’ve been eying this product for a while. I knew I needed to get a dash cam, but I had nowhere to look and no idea which one to get. When I saw this one went on sale for Black Friday, I knew I had to get it! First off, the quality. The picture is very clear, the camera feels well built, and it is also very sleek in design. I can easily forget about it being behind my rearview mirror. The picture is clear, and the data it tracks is very accurate. Installation was easy. The tool that the camera comes with helps hiding cables in your car very well. It took me about 30-45 minutes to tuck away the cable and I was learning on the fly. At first, I was kind of upset that I would need to continuously plug-in and unplug my camera before and after I’ve drove. I decided to reach out to the company and figure out which hardware kit works best for my car. To my surprise, the company was quick in response and more than happy to help me with any questions that I had. They were even willing to send me the hardware kit fit for my car. Personally, I have not had the pleasure of dealing with many companies so invested in how their customer enjoys their product. It really was the cherry on top for me. Would highly recommend! When I get a new car, if it doesn’t have a dash cam, I will definitely return to REDTIGER.

item as described. i like the small footprint (fits right behind the review mirror, no additional blind space it created. Took a little to figure out how to set it up, but installation was easy enough. And your phone only needs to be connected if you want to use it for realtime watching of what is being recorded. I don't need to be distracted by a screen to watch while driving so I just check to see if the recording angles are fine then just disconnect my phone. Worth the price, but I wish the GPS tracking could be disabled and the night (low light) recording quality isn't great, but I'm okay with that for the price. It would also be nice if they included the larger sized sd card instead of the smaller one. Gotta say, the RedtigerDirect supplier gets 5 stars. One of the wires had some damage to the outer cover (inner wires exposed) and I reached out to them directly and their reply was IMMEDIATE and HELPFUL. I was offered a different type of cord and it was shipped out soon and arrived quickly. Their customer service was A+!

I got 3 of these for my kid’s vehicles and mine after I was rear ended twice in a month. I wanted proof rather than he-said-she-said. I have a different brand, more expensive camera in my primary vehicle, but I’m impressed with REDTIGER. Feels like good quality, good video quality, easy to install, comes with a 32 gb sd card, install tool and long enough cables. You have to download a free app if you want to access the footage on your phone.

This camera packs a lot for such a small price tag. It's made by one of the top dash camera companies. It's small. It has high quality video recordings and it's easy to use. I like the fact the camera does not have a screen. To me the screen is a distraction while you drive. I hardwired this camera using their hardwire kit bought separately. Really was not difficult at all. Ran all the wires hidden and avoided the side curtain airbags by going down the A post zip tied to the existing wiring harness. Ran the cable for the rear camera under the kick plates along the bottom of the car. The cable was long enough for a standard 4 door sedan to do it this way. It is easy to pair you the camera for video review when needed and the video quality is very good. The app is easy to navigate through. For anyone who says you must connect your phone to the camera every time you are very wrong. The camera will record and track GPS and speed (if you want it to) all without being connected to your phone. You literally only need to connect it to the phone to review videos or adjust settings. This camera is exactly what I was looking for at a great price for what you get.

As a seasonal professional I have to say I was genuinely impressed not only with the ease in installment but the quality of the pictures from both cameras and the ease of use. Great value for money will definitely buy one for myself.

I purchased this dashcam only recently, with the hardwire kit. It arrived a few days ahead of schedule and was extremely simple to setup the hard-wiring and app connection. The hardwire kit had a minor issue and once I contacted support, they arranged delivery of a completely new kit which arrived just days later, and I completed the hard-wiring again pretty quickly. Support team is highly responsive and helpful, they also clearly answered other questions I had about the different functions. As for the camera itself, the front and rear has great quality footage and its really easy to see number plates even at night. The recordings are easy to access and save from the app, and even show speed and GPS tracking which is pretty impressive. Parking mode works great too, captures everything and saves footage if movement is detected. The camera has a USB-C connection which makes it really convenient to plug into my laptop and access files, as well as to just use with a normal charger outside of the car if I'm experimenting with different functions. Obviously, highly recommend this and its great value for the price.

Update to my review; I've noticed there's a few reviews stating that camera keeps turning itself off and on. I had this issue with one of the 2 dashcams in installed in my cars after about 5 months. I believed my issue was a defective camera was ready to contact Redtiger for warranty claim. Thought I'd check on some forums first and realized a couple of people had similar problems. Turns out it a defective MicroSD issue rather than Dashcam. Formatting doesn't work as it's corrupted. Had another 256gb card laying around installed and formatted an no more reboot. So if your having similar issues change MicroSD card. 6 months on still think it's best quality and value for money dashcam for those of us who prefer not having a screen and more stealthy unit. I was worried that app would be absolutely garbage like most anything around or below $300 price range. Most dashcam that have goods apps cost around $500.00. But it is truly a dedicated app not a generic slightly modified. Easy to understand, navigate and adjust camera settings. Image quality is great also. I wanted a front and rear view camera without screen. Either they make the camera to big or screen is so small it's pointless. I can view and download images from my phone in a minute. This camera has features and quality of other brands twice the price. I end up ordering a second one for my wifes car. I'll be ordering a 3rd soon for our other car too. Highly recommend this if your looking for high quality video and stable reliable app and have no need for display on camera itself.
