I have installed RedTiger dash cams in all of my cars. I sold one of my cars and was able to pull the dash cam out but not the rear camera before I sold it. This was a perfect replacement and worked exactly as I needed. Simple plug and play into my existing camera. Good quality camera and the size practically disappears from view in my rear view mirror. Works great in day or night with great brightness. I recommend installing front and back dash cams in all of your vehicles for safety and security. It already paid for itself in an accident where the other driver tried to commit fraud. I simply showed the insurance company the footage and stopped a lawsuit in its tracks!

Easy mount to my van. Drilled a hole through my top brake light enough to get the end through and silicone sealed it. Drilled two tiny holes to mount the camera along with the sticky gasket along with a tiny shot of silicone. Ran the wire and plugged it in ... no problems... easy as can be

The camera functionality itself is very good. Has a small 4 pin connection that works with both my VanTop dash cam and the Kingslim D4. You'd have to use the dashcam's original cable, then just connect this Redtiger cam to it. Night time functionality is about equivalent to my old VanTop unit and is superior to the Kingslim. VanTop ended up getting dinged up and that Kingslim one did not do well with night time glare and rain drops. This one did the trick. Only oddity to look out for is that the housing on the Redtiger is a bit wider than standard housing. If you have a 3rd party camera accessory like an above license plate camera holder, this camera won't fit those without mods.

I mounted this camera on my boat trailer (too Low) and it was submerged, which ruined it. I contacted the manufacturer about the fact that I thought it was waterproof. They were so gracious to supply me with a replacement. That is great customer service.

Only come with one aux cable no connection of RCV cable seller doesn’t even mention or show pictures of the item connections. I couldn’t plug in my current RCV connection. Getting a Refund and returning.👎 don’t buy be aware!
