The keyboard is a solid 9 out of 10 for me. Naturally having the HFX switches and the ability to hot swap to either mechanical or HE switches is really nice and the major selling point. The dual USB set up allows me to switch between my work computer and home computer easily. Everything about the keyboard is really nice and well thought out. All of that being said, the only downsides of this keyboard in my opinion are very minimal. The bottom right alt and fn keys are 1U, meaning a lot of keycap sets won't have those sizes for those keys. My only other complaint is that I wish they would swap the ins and del keys on the top right. Bonus points: this keyboard sounds so creamy, no clicks clacks or pings. Even the spacebar is literally padded and dampened. Changing keycaps didn't change the sound (yes I did move the padding from the spacebar to my own). RGB looks great too.

I have recently journeyed down the rabbit hole of magnetic keyboards. So, I am comparing this to the following: ASUS ROG Falchion Ace HFX Corsair K70 PRO TKL RGB (MGX Hyperdrive Switches) MADE68 Pro EWEADN Battle68 IROK MU68 EPOMAKER HE75 GK GAMAKAY TK68 HE Let me keep it simple. The ASUS ROG is likely the winner. It's tough. Because it is between the ASUS ROG Falchion HFX and the Corsair K70 TKL with MGX switches. I think the one thing that hurts it in a way is the switches are tougher than the Corsair K70. So, in a firefight, I would prefer my switches to be a bit quicker than the switches on the ASUS ROG. But let me stop you right there, that's not to say that these switches are bad. Not by a long shot. See, I use this as a productivity keyboard too. With the built-in KVM like switch, I can have the best of both worlds. I have one USB C going to a work laptop and another going to gaming PC. This is where the tougher switches come in handy because I prefer my productivity boards to use brown switches. While these are no brown switches, they are firmer than traditional reds and have become a godsend when using it for work. An easy flip of a switch on the back and I am back to gaming in between work. Awesome feature to have! The touch on the back is a neat feature as well. I have typically utilized it for adjusting volume or the brightness of the RGB. I don't use Armoury Crate, so I can't speak to its custom lighting etc., but the onboard lighting options suffice enough for me. Typically, when gaming, I either use traditional rainbow or rain. And on the productivity side, I turn the RGB to white which is one of the options. Listen - I have completely fallen in love ASUS ROG and their switches. So much so, that it is giving my love for Corsair a run for its $$ (or... my money, :D) . But I wanted to see if this was just a fluke on whether ASUS ROG really is putting out this kind of product. So I wanted to see if they could replicate it with another board. So, I purchased the ASUS ROG Falchion RX Low Profile 65% and it's just as creamy. The sound and feel is amazing, and super quiet! Again for use between gaming and productivity, that one might be slightly better in a work place because it is so quiet. Both the ASUS ROG Falchion Ace HFX and the ASUS ROG Falchion RX Low Profile 65% are near perfect keyboards! They have been my favorites keyboard purchases recently! And that's saying a lot.

This keyboard allows you to easily switch from productive mode to an instant rapid triggering gaming mode. Also sounds and feels better than the Wooting. The reason why this get 4 stars along with every ROG product is because the software to use these products (Armoury Crate) is infamous for causing many issues with your computer. Its unfortunate that a company could have such high quality hardware yet one of the worst softwares to match.

It's very high quality and sounds great like a clonky click which I love, the leds are very bright and it's cool how it has a switch yo turn on rapid fire so you can move and tap quicker in games. Asus is my favorite because they actually know what gamers need and this shows it in there products

Best sounding magnetic switch keyboard. The ROG switches are TOP NOTCH. They are tight smooth and sound amazing. The ROG switches were made so you can replace the springs to change the feel, so you dont have to buy new switches. I made a bracket so I could use the keyboard cover as a wrist wrest, Now it is like a low profile keyboard. I LOVE I. I made the bracket out of paint can stir sticks. They are usually free at most paint supply stores, even Home Depot. FOR THOSE WHO DARE. Good by my old friend. My Logitech G910, 10 years of service, thousands of games, your sparks keycaps will remain in my heart forever. But the ROG Falchion Ace HFX 65% gaming keyboard with ROG HFX magnetic switches, rapid trigger toggle...ect. IS THE BOMB.

Perfect feel and look. Perfect features that suits my needs — had everything I’ve been looking for in a keyboard.

Loaded with features, lite version of software is a plus. Sound is good and not loud but not dead silent either. I ultimately returned it as many FPS games and anti cheats are not detecting the rapid feature and I was worried I’d get banned.

Play Video First thoughts about it was the typing feels, Am still getting used to it but having an toggle switch on the keyboard itself is a game changer for me since I don't want the keys to be too fast especially when am just gonna type or message a friend. The only cons that I can see for now is the modding capabilities of this keyboard is only limited, yes its great to mod keyboard but this one isn't one of those that you can just take it out and put it back in without destroying something. there is screws in the panel on the top that is hard to remove(Don't want to risk it but yea its possible but be cautious!). Overall the stock is already fine out of the box, typing feels crisp and the sound is already dampened with layers inside already, switches are factory lube and overall it is a great keyboard especially if it goes on sale. Got it for 230cad(including tax)

Before doing the full list and review i came from thier Azoth 75 original and i was i looking for trying what is the deal with Magnetics switches and i also got hand on thier Azoth Extreme. here's my first take on this new one overall out of the box it's a decent product but nothing to be amaze of beside some cool features. i'm into customs mechanical pre-build i owned a lot of thems over few years. > For WHO would mod or do changes to this keyboard buyer beware First of all it's nearly impossible to take the keyboard appart the Bar on top that show "republic of gamers" is a sticker-plate and it hide screws underneath so without maybe damagin' this sticker bar it's not possible to take it appart wich is a big let-down for someone has a good experience with the Azoth series. i know this keyboard pack with foams and layers but would've been nice to follow the same path of azoth and let people mod thier Ace HFX . tought asus taking a turn with thier azoth would've follow the same of thier first Hall effect keyboard but no. > Switches ... The switches are good feeling out of the box but they're not perfectly pre-lube show some inconsistences btw some of switches. and asus claim they're 40g initial force to 55g bottom out. wich they are more to me 55-65g but the good thing is since they are using stem from almost normal mechanical switches u can buy dual stages springs. and change thems easy. ::: Switches are similar or made by Raesha. magnet is on the back of the stem! but there's not a lot of options to get aftermarket switches. Software (Armoury Crate) if you don't have a full asus pc. you can only get the software call armoury carte gears and do a better job and not cloging your computer with backgrounds tons of useless services. and work fine at least for now. You can make profiles and then once they're saved you can change thems by FN+asdfg .. really good and no need to run the software all the time. It has 8000 pooling rate but i think its more important on a mouse than a keyboard itself so. Aright the gosh dang keycaps from Asus are so freaking cheap and look bad i didnt use thems i used something else i bought and feel way better than thier rog themed cherry cheapo keycaps set.. Pros -Rapid trigger can be on and off with a magnetic switch at the back -Touch bar for multiple functions at the back -2 USB-C cable so can use on two device with a switch in the back middle. -Came with a slight dust-cover but isnt 100% dustproof but it will do the job just fine. Cons -Expensive for not bein able to take it appart or buy aftermarket switches. -The springs in the switches more stiff than stated -Armoury crate some people will hate this even the gears version. -Northfacing rgb and will not work with some keycaps since the switche stem bottom out nearly flush to the switche housing -The default keycaps not my thing so that's a con Just not really the best keyboard for the price. and yeah it has some features with Hall effect switches but still not sure if i will keep the keyboard for long i still think my azoth 75 modded feel 10x better than this even tho it's not an hall effect keyboard. well at the end of the day if you need a keyboard very small to play games exclusivly. and maybe come on sale i'd say go ahead. but for me can't go more than 3*

Magnets work so well. The sound dampening is pretty good.
