When you compare it to the original one that came on my camper it doesn’t have the quality in how it is made. The inside latch felt like a hard plastic with a hint of metal. The lock button latch felt like it was going to just fall out. I had to put something behind it so it would feel like a more secure. Besides those two things it was easy to install and real easy to set up. I like that it came with two remotes. I just hope that it last. 👍🏾👍🏾

I bought this to replace the factory latch on my 2024 Geo Pro 19FD. The deadbolt on the factory latch fell apart inside the door due to a missing screw during assembly. I was able to replace the screw and satisfactorily reassemble the latch. However, after some discussion with my wife, we decided a combination lock would be a useful substitution. So, after checking one other brand, I decided on this one due to the positive reviews and the much lower price. It fit just fine and works as advertised. The only critical observation was that the latch assembles with sheet metal screws into plastic holes. The one I took off used machine screws with threaded receptacles, which I consider higher quality. However, so far this one seems solid enough. I had one frustration in reading the instructions on how to change the lock code. It says to press the code reset button, enter a new code, then press lock twice (a voice will tell you to enter the new code and press the lock button). I entered the code and pushed the lock button two times. The voice told me I was unsuccessful. I finally figured out you must enter the code twice, pressing the lock button after each of the two times. Duh! Anyway, it looks good and seems to function well. Note that the keypad locking feature only locks/unlocks the sliding deadbolt, NOT the slam latch. If the latch handle is locked with a key, the keypad or fob will not unlock it. You must unlock it with a key from the outside.

We accidentally purchased the wrong size lock but we were able to easily return this one and order the correct lock. The new one fits great and it’s a very high quality lock! This is perfect for smaller RVs.

We love it. It has come lose and we’ve had to tighten it. Was slightly difficult to install only due to foam being too thick and wires being difficult to close it when installing. We’ve had a few times that the keypad entry didn’t want to work so keep a key on you as well. We’d buy it again

We own a 2022 Rockwood Minilite travel trailer. The original door lock was problematic, locking spontaneously, the key would not always work, etc. In our own camping group, several have had the same issue with the door lock. This lock is easy to install, and gives three options for entry. Would highly recommend!

The locking mechanism presents a commendable design. As the owner of a 2016 Wildwood bumper pull trailer, I successfully completed the installation in approximately fifteen minutes, including the time required to gather the necessary tools. The quality of the components is impressive. The lock integrated smoothly into the existing setup without any difficulties. It is now fully operational and provides a straightforward configuration. I sought a locking solution that would allow for convenient access through code entry, eliminating the need to search for keys. Additionally, the inclusion of the FOB is a nice enhancement. Changing the code on the lock is very simple and takes only 20 seconds. Simple, easy and good quality.

Well built, pretty fast install. Looks like you can get all the compartment locks to be keyed the same as the door key, might have to invest in some of those.

Perfect fit! We've got a 2013 KZ Spree that the latch was broken on. Ordered this lock, removed the old one, and this lock slid right in. We did have to wiggle a bit, but that just means a good tight fit. Easy to program. My only complaint is the keypad and remote only engage the deadbolt, not the regular latch lock. Other than that we are golden! 10-minute install at the most- no cutting, no modifications, just a little wiggle.

Big fan of this, as it took maybe 10 minutes to install on our trailer. It was an easy, drop-in replacement that works very well. The fobs are overly sensitive, but we normally just use the pin code anyways. Its nice to have that extra security and convenience. I'd recommend it over some of the cheaper options.

This was a replacement for another RV Lock that was factory installed on our 2018 Lance. Both of our keys had broken and the protective finish had come off the numbers so felt it was time to replace. Went with the same model again despite these issues due to ease of install. It fit exactly into the existing door opening and programming was a breeze. Hope it lasts longer than the last one.

This is a great lock. But wish Amazon had mentioned where it was coming from. All in all. I believe it’s a good deal. *update* mine was missing one of the key fobs. I email them and with a day one was shipped out to me. No duty on this package. Still loving it. I would recommend for Jayco SLX owners
