I’ve been dealing with roach problem after a year of moving in to my new home. This product is incredibly effective it killing the roaches on the spot. The spray is easy to use—just aim and spray. I used it for on the spot elimination. Within a few seconds, the roaches are dead. One of the things I appreciate most is how quickly it works. The spray also has a strong scent initially, but it dissipates quickly, which is a plus for me since I don’t like lingering chemical smells. The only downside is that the spray can be a bit harsh, so I make sure to ventilate the area and keep pets and kids away until it dries. But when used as directed, it’s safe and effective.

Somehow I ended up getting roaches from paper bags. The exterminator wanted. $200 to get rid of them in my house. I haven’t got it. So I reluctantly tried this. I sprayed it along the baseboard and floor of just one wall. Three days went by and neither me nor my dog seen any. Then 2 weeks later I go to respray. I saw one live one in 2 weeks. Between the baseboard and the wall were tons of dead roaches. This was last month and I’ve not seen a single roach dead or alive. I also found the nest in some paper bags I had. This product is very effective. It allows you to be the exterminator. For under five dollars a can. It’s worth it. Now mind you, I have no idea how this would work on huge infestations down south. I hear they are bad here. I live in Maine where most have never seen a roach. I was the unlucky one to bring home the wrong bag. I would see a roach about every day crawling across the living room floor. It was not an infestation. So my review is for someone who happens to have bugs. In my opinion it would work on an infestation. Of course there is no immunity here in Maine but I hear down south they can take a bath in it. I never had to spray a single bug just the wall. Now and then I repeat. Initially I wanted to use the roach traps but you can’t with a dog they smell the peanut butter in it snd eat it. Mine did this when I put ant traps out. All you need to do is spray between the floor and baseboard of one wall. They walk on it and die. So if you find roaches don’t delay. Buy a can of raid and you can be the exterminator. Update. May 2025. Once again raid let me be the exterminator for cents on the dollar. Found ants. Sprayed inside cupboards and all cracks and crevices and within 24 hours the only ants I see are dead ones. RAID killed the queen and all the other ants in the house. I can’t use any traps because tve dog finds and eats them. RAID is made from cursanthemums and will not harm a dog. RAID is even safe to use around humans although one can have horrible allergies to it. Today’s home bug sprays are all pyre thrones. No longer can we get very poisonous organochlorides or organophosphate poisons. Exterminators get the latter at times but pyrethruns are extremely poisonous to insects while being safe to use around humans and dogs. It is not safe for cats and cats should be kept away from sprayed areas until it’s dry. Do not spray areas where cats frequently. Pyrethrins are as poisonous to cats and fish as it is to bugs. But if you don’t have a cat and you have bugs and don’t have $200 or more for an exterminator give raid a try for less than $5 a can. When you see how well it works now that you can be your own exterminator you’ll agree it’s worth every cent and then some. When I get mosquitoes or flies in the house raid house and garden or flying insect killer works instantly and is non toxic plus smells awesome just like fresh picked oranges

This works well and I have used other products without much success so far it’s been controlling my overwhelming bug situation. This has been around for years and it doesn’t surprise me that it works as well as it does. I recommend it for the toughest areas.

This Raid is amazing. I have been dealing with fleas for years. 2 years ago I moved into a apartment not knowing that there were fleas in the apartment. I was spending so much money on different products. When I would wash my dishes I would feel them biting my ankle so I grabbed the can of raid because it was the closest to me so I started spraying like I was losing my mind. The next day started washing dishes and did not feel any fleas so I started spraying every room including my bed. It was nice to go to sleep without those Critters biting me. You will notice the difference after spraying but it doesn't end there because of the eggs so keep that in mind. If you are having problems with fleas try this Raid and if you know anyone dealing with fleas spread the word plus this Raid kills roaches fast. Thanks for reading.

The unscented version is truly odor free, for my human nose anyway. Doesn't kill my cockroaches on contact, when I spray it directly on them they scurry off then after about 10 seconds they flop over into death throes. It takes a while for them to fully die, sometimes all day. I spray the areas where I know they are coming in, the roaches pass through the poison but after 5-20 feet they keel over, disabled not dead. I have to apply the spray every few days for it to work effectively.

I mean it's raid. We grew up watching the commercials. It works. It isnt meant to be sprayed willy nilly, its meant to be sprayed directly on them and then they die. Plain and simple lol. They may run around a bit but then they die.

I moved into a 1980s apartment in late October 2024 and the previous tenant was filthy and awful and as soon as I moved in I had just massive numbers of roaches. Spectracide had always worked for me. The infestation was so terrible I'd spray the spectracide and 2 days later there would be more roaches on my kitchen counters and bathroom everywhere, even between the shower curtain liner and the tub wall. I thought I was doomed. Then my brother recommended raid. I had tried using raid in the 80s and not had any luck. I got this and I spray once a week. I haven't seen any roaches in a month. It lays much longer than the other. So much so I returned the other and am only on my second bottle in the 3rd month, spraying once a week on every surface in my apartments at areas. I will not buy any other roach insecticide ever again. The smell is not overwhelming. The sprayer lays down a wide, thick layer and doesn't kill you with the poison smell. It lasts forever
