I am a signed Esports player. This mouse is perfect for my FPS needs. Incredible surface texture, its almost addicting to hold this mouse, and perfect for large hands. The tactile clicking is very nice, on both the mouse buttons and side customizable buttons. What I like most, though, is how SMOOTH it is; the bottom of this mouse GLIDES across my mousepad, it's absolutely perfect. The Razer Synapse software is a bit confusing at first, but very useful. 100/10, this is any competitive player or gaming enthusiast's dream mouse.

Historically I used other big brand mice, especially the big L because I like the "hyperscroll" shift function but I've had issues with those brands in either connectivity or functionality. I've had some Razer products in the past which I've been happy with so I have this a go. What a great mouse! While I think my hands are a little small for it (I have to adjust significantly to reach the sniper button) but otherwise no complaints. I have medium sized hands and do not have long fingers. I like the free scroll automatic shift of the scroll wheel for non-gaming applications and it works great. The software is easy to use and intuitive and doesn't seem to be a big resource hog. I was pleasantly surprised and very happy with my purchase. Time will tell how it holds up!

tl;dr fantastic mouse for people that do both gaming and work I'm very happy that I ended up with this mouse and not Viper 3... Basilisk is not only comfortable for your hand but also very practical... I love the infinite scroll feature, customization and placement of buttons. While I'm not pro to understand how good it is in terms of midmaxing.... I did gain additional exp just because the responsiveness in the game of my liking (where timing was crucial) xD... So yeah... this is a pay to win upgrade BUT! I still think for people that mostly would be gaming and no other activities like editing/browsing Viper 3 would be better.

If scroll wheel stops working turn off/on 2.4 under mouse. Beyond that, excellent!

Great mouse for my big hand size super comfortable and very lightweight. Not sure why but it has a problem where it stops working the first time I turn it on until I restart the computer I don’t have this issue with any other mouse

I used to have a Corsair Ironclaw RGB and it had all sorts of issues, after my second of that mouse in a year I decided it was time to get a NICE mouse. This is the perfect upgrade, everything I loved about the shape and weight of the Ironclaw but no issues with the mouse switches, connection for charger, and the battery life is amazing.

I tried this mouse for a while now and I don't think its better than the G502 HERO. The side buttons are loose and are easily pressed by accident. If you have the G502 just upgrade to the latest version.

It's a well built decent little tank of a mouse, in my opinion the Deathadder v3 is a far more comfortable mouse, but that's just me, the basilisk is noticeably heavy and smaller than I was expecting but I do got larger slender hands. The basilisk battery doesn't last terribly long but can be circumvented by turning the RGB down to like 5 percent or so via razer synapse. This mouse has a lot of functionality with all the button settings you can do, if you're a gamer I highly recommend using this function if you don't already it can totally win you the match. There are cheaper mice out there but you'll get what pay for with the Basalisk.

Very light weight. Battery life has been very good so far. Lighting accents well thought through. Software functionality is good. Very happy. My last wired razer mouse still works perfectly fine but is well used.

The placement of the power switch is kinda annoying considering it’s easy to turn it too far and have it still on. Although I forget to turn this mouse off pretty regularly the battery lasts a long time! Left it on all week while I was gone on accident and my daughter sometimes moves things on my desk so even if it went into sleep mode it would have been woken up a couple times. Personally don’t find it too heavy although I do like heavier mouses it seems. Haven’t tried the bluetooth and only use the wireless usb connection but satisfied with the product overall. No complaints!

Let me start off by saying this is an incredible mouse no doubt about that, but I can't say for sure that its the best mouse for gaming. Been using gaming mouse for years. My first mouse was the OG Sensei wireless by Steelseries. Then I moved on to Rival 600. Finally my last mouse was Viper ultimate wireless. The reason I'm mentioning this is because I've used both ambidextrous and right handed mouse in the past. Some key points about Basilisk V3 Pro 35k - Build Quality is great. I'd say its an upgrade in quality from Viper ultimate. - Nice tactile clicks. - Free scrolling wheel is the best part for me as the first thing that does from my daily use is scroll wheel so hopefully this would last a long time. - Thumb rest so you don't have to drag your thumb on the mouse pad during long gaming/work hours. - RGB is nice to have. Its really bright. - 35k sensor. It feels same to me when compared to Viper ultimate and if you really compare and test the accuracy over high refresh rate panel you'd barely notice but its good to have the best sensor. Now lets talk about why I'm not sure about this being the best gaming mouse. - WEIGHT. This beast weighs over 100 grams which is really heavy if you wanna do some intense gaming. The constant lifting off the mouse can be taxing on your wrist. It's only been a day for me so I need more testing. - Side grips. It's the same as Viper ultimate which overtime wears out, and quickly too if you use use your mouse at least 8 hours a day. - Design. I use a claw grip and this mouse is better suited for palm grip IMO. This is because the design is such that your index finger rests higher than your middle finger which can cause fatigue overtime. The reason I mentioned all my old mice is I used Rivel 600 which is also a right handed mouse but I never had any problem with my claw grip maybe because the design was better at accommodating various grips. Other things that aren't really pros or cons - Polling rate goes upto 8000Hz but can be taxing on battery life but the app has a feature which lets you set different polling rate when you're in the desktop browsing or working and when you're in game(full screen applications) - It's too early for me to talk about battery life as many things impact how long the battery lasts such as sensor settings, polling rate, LEDs, sleep time etc. -Wireless charging dock. I've been spoiled by wireless charging tech and always use it for all my stuff. So I got the new wireless dock for this mouse. Should it be included with the mouse? yes. Why was it not? I really don't know. But I know anyone can come to some kind of conclusion about this. Is the dock necessary to enjoy the mouse? NO. But is it good to have? Yes, depending on your needs. I will update this review once I get enough data about battery life.
