I've been a fan of the Razer DeathAdder since about 2013. My first mouse lasted 10 years until the wheel button stopped working reliably. After getting a newer version, I eventually decided to go wireless and ended with this. The main reason I chose this over some of the competitors, is the polling rate. For gaming applications, this pulling rate is actually important. I tried to go with a Logitech master MX but the polling rate was noticeably impacting performance. Don't get me wrong, that was a very nice mouse but not suitable for gaming. There is a subtle difference in both size and form from this version to the wired versions. It's not a bad thing and for me, not impactful but worth noting. It is still very comfortable, very similar, and meet my performance expectations for both everyday use and gaming. Battery life so far has not been a problem and razor synapse will notify me when battery is low. It plugs in via USB c. It does not have any lighting on board which I personally prefer in exchange for longer battery life. This is by no means super super long battery life but will last multiple days of extended use. I bring up the Logitech master MX again because I tried using that due to its ungodly long battery life. The increased polling rate however impacts battery life. This mouse is also eligible for the upgraded dongle which offers an even higher polling rate. I haven't bothered with this as I've heard it impacts battery performance even more, and simply don't need it but is nice to have the option. It is actually quite super light, has nice skates so glides over desk surfaces easily, and overall feels fine. I don't have any complaints. It features the similar buttons other death adder mice have, and a quick switch profile button on the bottom. One nice thing is it includes a USB extension for the dongle, and the little USB-C to USB-A converter for whatever reason.

Replaced my wired DeathAdder Essential mouse that I had for a few years after the click wheel broke. I had been eyeballing a wireless mouse because the cord on my previous mouse would annoy me sometimes and felt like I had to pull it for some extra slack in the cord. I also have a gaming laptop for on the go, so wireless is definitely more convenient for that. There's no lighting effects on this mouse which I can live with. Its SUPER lightweight. Almost too light, but I'm getting use to it. The battery life is acceptable. Nothing spectacular, but not problematic. The USB dongle included is only the 1000Hz polling rate dongle, not the 8000Hz which is a little disappointing, but realistically, I'm not gonna be able to tell the difference so it's fine. Overall it's a good mouse, and assuming it last for several years, it's worth the money.

Very good.Reviewed in the United States on April 6, 2025

Like most other Razer products, this is very good quality, but a little overpriced. There are certainly alternatives to this, however if you have the Razer Deathadder V2 mouse, this mouse is basically that but with the option to be wireless. If it dies while using it, you can easily just plug the mouse itself into the cord they provide to charge both the mouse and dongle and it works like a standard wired mouse. Also, if you're left handed or ambidextrous, this mouse works either way, not just for right handed people like most others. Otherwise, if it's inconvenient, you can directly buy a left handed mouse on the product page.

Pros: Incredibly Lightweight: At just 63 grams, this mouse is incredibly light, making it perfect for fast-paced, competitive gaming. The reduced weight means quicker flicks and less fatigue during long sessions. HyperSpeed Wireless: Razer’s HyperSpeed technology ensures that there’s no noticeable input lag, even in a wireless setup. The connection feels just as responsive as a wired mouse, which is crucial for competitive play. Comfortable Ergonomics: The DeathAdder shape is known for its comfort, especially for palm grip users. It’s designed to fit the hand naturally, making it easy to use for extended gaming sessions without hand strain. Long Battery Life: Despite being wireless, the battery life is impressive. You can get days of use before needing to recharge or swap out batteries, so you’re not constantly worrying about losing power mid-game. Customizable Buttons: The mouse features programmable buttons, which are great for assigning quick functions or macros for different games. They’re positioned well and easy to reach without being intrusive. Cons: No RGB Lighting: For those who like flashy RGB lighting, this model keeps things minimal with a focus on performance. If aesthetics are a priority for you, this could be a drawback. Price: The DeathAdder V3 HyperSpeed is a bit on the pricier side compared to other gaming mice. You’re paying for Razer’s tech and reliability, but it might not be the first choice for budget-conscious gamers. Conclusion: The Razer DeathAdder V3 HyperSpeed is an excellent choice for competitive gamers who need a lightweight, responsive, and comfortable mouse. Its HyperSpeed wireless connection, combined with Razer’s signature ergonomic design, makes it a top-tier option. While it lacks RGB lighting and is a bit pricey, its performance more than makes up for it.

I've used Logitech G Pro X Superlight 1 for almost 4 years. Decided it's time to upgrade. Ordered Superlight 2, Superlight Pro Dex, Viper V3, and two Deathadders - V3 and this one, Hyperspeed. I used the old wired Deathadder Elite for years previously, so I really wanted to go back to the ergonomic mice. Honestly... Forget about Logitech unless you really hate Razer for any reason or really love some of the little touches that Logitech has on the sides of the mouse. I chose Hyperspeed over the rest - I wanted something small, lightweight and ergonomic. Hyperspeed fits all three. Very lightweight (55g more or less). It's basically a Deathadder V3 Mini - same design language. Slightly rubberized coating on the entire mouse(against no coating whatsoever on Logitech). Nice fast clicks, not too loud, not annoying or irritating in any way. The buttons don't move side to side at all (compared to Logitech, which do move a lot surprisingly) The mouse wheel is awesome. No wobble, clear clicks, very soft rubberized sound of scrolling(against Logitech's famously terrible mice wheels). Feet are awesome, side buttons are where they are supposed to be, clicky and spammable. Has a storage for a dongle underneath for those traveling with it. Overall - a perfect mouse for reasonable amount of money. Highly recommend.

This mouse is awesome, I've owned tons of different variations and literally almost every mouse razer makes and this might be my favorite. Great shape and weighs almost nothing. Seamless connectivity and absolute great build quality (sometimes an issue with razer) seems the quality control is on point. No creaks, solid build.

I upgraded to this mouse from the logitech 305 mouse and the difference is night and day. The feet on the bottom make it very smooth, it's super light, the perfect shape. No complaints possible. I used the extention cable to keep the wireless adapter right in front of the mouse and I've never had any connectivity issues, regardless of the OS I was using (tested on macos, linux and windows)

Click to play video Summary: This is an exceptional mouse! It has many features, great specs, a great battery life and an affordable price. I highly recommend it. In my quest to find the perfect Razer mouse, I had the opportunity to try out many great mice, but no one matched up to this one. Unboxing: The unboxing experience is pleasant and straightforward. Upon opening the box, you'll be greeted by the mouse and you'll find everything else that you need in order to start using it. Feel: The feel in hand is exceptional. The mouse feels very well built, grippy due to the smooth-touch finish, light (coming in at 55g) and well balanced. The shape is a bit different than a traditional mouse but you get accustomed to it very quickly. It's a smaller mouse so its better for people with small to medium size hands. The switches used (Optical gen 3) feel amazing. They're clicky and precise. As for the glide, due to the large skates, the mouse glides very easily. Performance: This mouse is an e-sport player's dream! It comes with an amazing sensor that goes up to 26k dpi, a 1000hz polling rate and so many features that are really useful. I've been using it for more than a week playing Minecraft and its been one of the best mouse I used. Battery life: The battery life is great, with an advertised 100 hours of playtime. I can use it for more than a week without having to charge it. Cons: There are two problems related to this mouse, but they're very minor. 1) The lack of a dedicated DPI button on the top is annoying since it means you'll have to turn the mouse upside down in order to change the DPI level. 2) The included usb-C cable isn't braided or their signature Speedflex cable. I can understand getting a plastic cable with a 20$ mouse but at 150$, I think that they could've included a better one. In the end, I'm really pleased with the experience I had with this mouse and it's gonna become my daily driver for now. I highly recommend this mouse to anyone who's in the market for a premium, lightweight and relatively affordable mouse.

Got this for my son's birthday. I wasn't sure about this particular model, but after doing some research, and reading reviews, I ordered this one. It was a hit. He loves it. It's fast, precise, and easy to hook up.
