Bought the clear one for more light in the bathroom. It was slightly larger all around than the original, but that was OK and it did not require any additional cutting of the roof. The base is totally flat so Installation was a bit tricky on my slightly curved roof. In all cases, run a thick bead of sealant on the roof around all sides, and smooth with a putty knife before positioning the skylight. Be sure to seal all original screw holes since the holes on the new skylight probably will not match up. On all roof types, start with the screws in the middle of the longest sides, and install screws in a staggered pattern down each of the long sides in turn, before securing the short sides. Do not tighten screws too much or the plastic may Crack. Just enough for a good caulk seal all around. When all screws are in, cover screw heads with a just a dab of self leveling caulk.

Perfect fit, quality is the same as the original, replaced the shower skylight bubble that cracked during a freeze. I was surprised that the holes lined up! Put a bead of Dicor lap sealant under them screwed it down, then a coat on top of the screws out to the edge, looks perfect!

I did not see thickness dimensions or know how to compare to other manufacturers as was my first experience replacing one. If I knew how thin it was I would have paid more for a thicker more substantial one. I did not have time to return it because of weather circumstance so had to install it anyway. Other than that it fit ok. some holes lined up, other had to be redrilled.

Replaced old skylight which cracked and was leaking. I chose this one because the picture showed it has the same number of holes as my factory RV skylight -- and it does. But the holes don't line up with the old holes. So I filled the old holes with toothpicks and wood glue and then just screwed into fresh roof. Make sure to use putty tape under the entire circumference so that the screws go through the tape, and seal the screw heads and skylight edges with self leveling lap sealant.
