I used this twine to wrap my sourdough bread into pumpkins. It worked great! It's definitely one time use and can't be reused once it's in the oven. It's easy to tie and very durable. Once baked, it didn't always come clean off the bread but that is to be expected. I will definitely be purchasing more once I run out. Great price for what you get.

I was shopping for a thick cotton butcher’s twine to replace a ball of twine I had purchased five or six years ago made by LEM (https://a.co/d/b8IS3LT). The price of the LEM twine has more than doubled since then, so I thought I’d try this one which had good reviews and a description of “heavy”. This twine seems to be very strong, though it is not as thick as the previous one. I would not describe the string as heavy, though again it is pretty strong. I need a thicker twine for my purposes so that it doesn’t cut into the meat or casings in situations where I need to truss something pretty tight. I can certainly make this work, but I will continue my search for a thicker twine in this price range that matches the previous one I bought.

Usamos esta hilaza para cocinar unos muslos deshuesados rellenos, y a pesar de que les di vueltas para cocinarlos por ambos lados el relleno no se salió y los muslos permanecieron bien amarrados. Mejor que cualquier otra hilaza que haya usado antes.
