I recently bought the mighty patch pimple patches and those are AMAZING! Get those too if you’re interested, but I bought this repair cream because I had a severe reaction to a facial moisturizer I purchased where I had a horrible, horrible break out all over my face, even in places I’ve not had pimples before. I’ve never had such a break out reaction to a product before so I searched on Amazon for a quick fix and I stumbled upon this. My break out was so bad I didn’t want to to leave my house and was going to cancel my appearance at a social event. I had newly forming as well as healing pimples that were starting to scab over (and I have a bad habit of picking), but this repair cream saved my skin! I applied to both new and healing spots. My skin healed extremely fast and I was shocked at the results! I wish I had taken before and after pics to show the difference because it only took 2 days to heal. Make sure to wash your skin prior and let your skin dry fully before applying. Do not apply any other products before this repair cream, no toner, nothing. This should be the first product applied after washing your face. The 2-day healing might’ve been sped up because I applied it 3 times throughout the day on day 2. I did apply to new pimples as well as ones that were healing, no burning or tingling sensation. I followed up with moisturizer and sunscreen. I actually avoided any product that was too watery after applying this cream - so I didn’t use toner or any serums after this cream.

I absolutely love this product! I had no idea something like this existed when I came across it on Amazon. Now I know I can't live without it. I'm a 45 year old woman who had beautiful skin until diagnosed w ADD in adulthood and now struggles with regular flare ups that are a side effect of the medication I take and I can't avoid them bc the meds are so effective so I must deal. Then there's hormones. On top of that, I have OCD and I can't seem to keep my hands off of my face. Add to it stress and anxiety and you've got a prime candidate for bankruptcy due to the money I spend on facial products alone ( oh, and co-pays ). And yes, a complete mental case too! I used to apply a little bit of topical bacitracin to my face after I picked so as to avoid infection, but I'm not so sure it was working. I bought this here Rescue Balm stuff and it was just what I needed! It says to put a small amount on your pimple after you've treated it w a hydrocolloidal patch (they don't work for me). But I figured I'd try it on the messes I've created on my face from picking. Doesn't really say what it does or how it does it on the box but I just know it works. It somehow shrinks and eliminates the "mess" within hours if applied a couple times a day. It dries up the spot where you apply it but it does not dry or irritate your skin. Sensitive skin like mine tolerates it very well. I love the consistency of it and it doesn't burn at all and I sometimes apply it all over my face. Do use a good moisturizer with it though as directed. In a few hours (sometimes minutes for me) you will see it work it's magic. It's not meant as a spot treatment for under-the-skin acne, it's specialty is "picked" or "popped" blemishes or those just treated with a patch. I use it right on top of my Differin gel and then apply makeup right over it. It blends in and makes skin feel soft. It's a small tube but lasts a long time and it is not expensive at all. I have a pretty involved skincare routine that includes double cleansing, toning, exfoliator, serums, retinol, moisturizer, mask/SPF. I hoped this would work as a spot treatment to prevent my retinol-purge-zits from staying red and becoming scars. The instructions say to rub in a rice grain sized amount over the spot after cleansing/toning/exfoliating and before serums/etc. However, it is so thick and pasty that even the tiny amount suggested smears around leaving a white cast and doesn’t seem to absorb at all. I was hesitant to leave a review for this before actually seeing whether it would prevent a spot from becoming a scar. Thing is, I don’t know if I’ll actually get the chance to see that happen if it’s just going to sit on top of my skin and get rubbed away by the products that come afterward. All that said, I do like their other products, and this contains great ingredients that theoretically *should* do what the company claims. Unless they come out with a more efficiently textured version of this, I just have to figure out how to use it in my routine in a way that won’t waste product or inhibit potential benefits. The only way I can think of doing this is to wipe all other products from my PM routine off each spot I want to treat using a toner-covered Q-tip, tapping a little white blob of this on each, and leaving it as-is overnight. That’s a huge departure from the instructions and seems like a pretty tedious measure to take to use this, but it’s worth a shot. For now, it really just feels like rubbing a pasty sunscreen around on my face right before using serums & moisturizer. Clearly that is not ideal for those with a multi-step skincare routine, but hopefully I can get it to work a different way. I will update this review if so.

Jede Haut ist anders und nicht jeder reagiert gleich, aber es besteht die Möglichkeit, dass aus dem Pickel eine Wunde wird, die einfach nicht verheilt. Ich konnte zuerst nicht zuordnen, ob es von der Creme kommt da ich öfter mal kratze, habe es daher ein paar Mal probiert, aber jedesmal ist aus einem kleinen Pickel (Ich habe hormonell bedingt ab und zu kleine Pusteln, aber keine richtigen Pickel.) eine große Wunde geworden, fast schon wie eine Verbrennung, allerdings hat es nicht gebrannt oder große Schmerzen verursacht.
