I ordered this to keep in my car and I’m glad I bought this just in case (god forbid I ever need to use it). The pull clip is secure enough that it won’t unhook and cut yourself by accident but give it a good quick firm pull and it’ll release fine. The window breaker also works well. I tested it out on a penny I pressed it very firmly till I felt a click and the metal spike poked out from the device. It was quite strong it even made an indent in the coin so I’m sure it’ll do fine to break a glass window. It’s small, light, and seems to work as it’s designed to.

This is one of those items we all hope we never need. After a number of stories lately around my area relating times where people have had trouble escaping a car after an accident, I figured it simply could not hurt to have this available. After doing a bit of research on the various options available I settled on this one as I like that it was made in the US as well as the two pack for each of our cars. The color option is nice and visible, comes with options for mounting in different locations, and seems to be simple to use. For obvious reasons it's a little hard to test out (I'm not sure that insurance would appreciate a claim due to "testing" a tool) but given the purpose I have little doubt it would work. The only real issue I can see is the little black plastic piece that is inserted in the blade slot is somewhat hard to remove. This can be a good thing since it's not really something that should fall out, but I can see that in an emergency or a situation with wet hands it could cause some issues. But removing it and reinserting it a few times seems to loosen it up a bit.

I tested the glass-break feature on a piece of wood and have no doubt it will break glass. It comes with a key ring and zip-tie. I hung ours on the pivot arm for the driver sun visor so all one has to do is pull and use. The key ring is designed to stay where mounted so you pull on the body of the tool to remove the tool from the key ring to use. It is all reusable so no worries. Hopefully never need it.

It’s cheap, easy to use, portable, fits in small places. Just that I didn’t have the choice to choose what colour I wanted.

Arrived quickly and in good condition. Exactly arms advertised. Bought one for both myself and my husband. Small and portable, fits perfectly in the center console of the car. The bright neon makes it easy to see. Hoping to never need but for the piece of mind it is well worth the cost.

I actually gave my own personal one away. I happened to see these again and I thought I should put one in every vehicle. Now I am covered again. I used the original one to make sure it did everything it was supposed to and it worked great.

This is something most people never think about. Most people don't ever expect to get into a collision or have the seat belt get stuck. My wife has complained about the passenger seat belt locking up in my Chrysler sedan. I was getting safety things together for some travel and decided these might be a good idea for us or if we stopped to help someone else. You can break out windows easily and cut belts quickly to get out of a car. A bit of cheap insurance for your life.

After watching a video I come to realize that I needed to have a seatbelt cutter for my vehicles especially having small children. The tool is pretty small that you can have it on your keychain as well. Definitely worth the money and peace knowing you have it if you need it.

The kind of things you hope you never need, but you are glad you have it when you do need it. I have not tried it myself (fortunately), but I have seen tests, and it can really save lives in case of a car crash.
