It worked for half a day. Got it delivered on Saturday, tested it, so far so good until then…next day, battery was dead ALREADY!! so went to charge it again and stopped working, the light will flash but the machina would not turn on , what a waste of time, the design is cool but the machine is worthless, simply awful!

This is a great Karaoke speaker. It has a very decent power for it size, the mics are specially powerful. It may not be a Bose with loudspeaker, but it has some punch. THe presentation is great, I really like the Boxy look with some from lights. I just which there is an option to turn them completely off too. Among the features that are useful for a karaoke is the voice removal, which is good for some music. In general we really enjoy it it's fun. And not loud enough to annoy the neighbors, which is great

Bought this in advance for a birthday finally opened and the volume will not adjust. Also super bummed that the audio is super crackling from the microphone

This karaoke machine is definitely pretty cool. It greets you with a built-in voice prompt and bright, very vivid color LED lights around the speaker. It's fairly easy to use, but will require some experimentation. The device is supposedly made of wood, but there is no wood visible from the outside. The ouside is covered in a slightly soft, sort of rubberized feeling fake leather... a lot like what might be used in car interior upholstery, specifically on a car door. It's brown. It feels nice. The speaker has some weight to it, which it should considering that it contains the speaker elements, amplifier, rechargable batteries and holds the microphones. There are four heavy rubber feet on the bottom and a carry strap attached to the sides. The controls are all bunched on the right side with a large volume knob. The volume knob does not have a smooth action as you think it would. It's almost sort of scratchy feeling when you rotate it. It's only a virtual volume knob as there is no set uppper or lower limit, it just turns and turns in both directions. Aside from the volume knob, the main controls are all small buttons. The Music/Orig switches between untouched music playback and attempted vocal removal. I say attempted, because it doesn't work with all the music I tried. It was only successful removing the vocals on some tracks. With some tracks it removes other things, specifically music. It really depends on the individual track. For instance, The Knack's My Sharona has it's vocals removed almost perfectly, but play Please Please Me by the Beatles and there is no detectable vocal removal at all... in fact, it doesn't do well with any of the Beatles tracks I tried. Roy Orbison's Uptown, perfect removal. Some music can just sound kind of screwy and strange with the vocal removal, like Subdivisions by Rush... it just sounds weird, and it doesn't remove most of Geddy Lee's vocals anyway. The LED button cycles between the eight LED light setups, a long press turns the LEDs off. There are standard FF/RW buttons which can go to the next/previous track or long press can FF or RW through a track if the device supports it. The Mode button switches between possible inputs; Bluetooth, SD card, USB flash drive & AUX input. And finally, the Power/Play/Pause button. Long press for power on/off. Fast press for play or pause. The back row contains two analog mini-plugs, one for AUX one for LIVE. A USB-A port for plugging in USB drives, a TF slot for micro SD cards and a USB-C power plug, for charging the speaker. The two microphones drop into the top of the speaker. There are two tiny lights under the TF card slot which light up depending on which microphones are active. The two mics have five buttons, one for power, volume up/down, EQ mode, and Echo (Reverb) mode. The EQ mode button rotates between six different voice treatments which can make you sound normal, or like a chipmunk or like monster, for instance. This is only for the vocals. It's good for kids, I guess. The Echo (Reverb) mode switches heavy reverb on or off for your vocals. I paired the speaker with my phone via Bluetooth. When you turn the speaker on, it shows up as "SP-500" in your bluetooth list. You can then use your favorite music player app to play your music through the device. You could just use the speaker as a bluetooth speaker for music playback and not karaoke most of the time. I wish there was a light under the Music/Org button to denote whether or not lyrics removal is turned on. Since it doesn't work on all music, it's difficult to know for certain if it's on or off at times. I also wish there were lights under each of the inputs, so you could know for sure what input was selected in certain situations. Overall, it's a pretty cool device that could be a hit a parties with the right people and the right music. But it's not perfect and you should know that going in.

Overall, this i s a great Karaoke speaker. The sound is fantastic, and removing vocals is as easy as pressing a button. The Bluetooth connection is easy. The LEDs look fantastic. I like that it has the option to use a TF card or USB to directly play music, but I wish there was a small LCD so you can see what songs are on the drives. The microphones have options for echo and EQ adjustments, but it does not remember your preference the next time you turn on the mic. It came with windscreens for the microphones, but they come off so easily, you're better off keeping them someplace safe and only put them on when you need them. I also think it would have been smart to have the microphones charge in the base they are stored in instead of having one USB charger for three devices that need charging (the speaker and the two microphones). Don't get me wrong - it's really a great speaker. All those other things would have been fantastic, but I am still very happy with it.
