Excellent security upgrade! The 1080p HD video is crisp, and motion detection works flawlessly. The bright floodlights deter intruders, and two-way audio is clear. Easy to install and integrates well with other Ring devices. Weather-resistant design holds up perfectly. Highly recommend for reliable, smart home security. Worth every penny!

It does exactly what you want a ring camera to do. Easy to adjust zones and reliably identifies vehicles, people or animals. It even works when temperatures get below -50°.

These are excellent Ring Flood light cameras. I like that the Ring cameras were very easy to install. I also like that the RIng cameras were very easy to setup. These are very easy camera to replace your exitance flood lights. The RIng cameras comes with everything you need to install. I like that you can mount the RIng cameras on the wall or under your roof easement. I like that the cameras have excellent picture quality. I like that the cameras two-way audio. I like that the cameras have a siren to detour animals or humans. I like that you can register for a plan to save your video feed or skip the plan and only received live motion activity without saved videos.

After one month of service, I feel as though I can give an honest assessment of the overall performance of this camera. Admittedly I had high hopes for this device but over the last month, my hopes went from impressed to just OK. The install was fairly easy and it did set up perfectly the first time. The video quality is very good and the motion detection is very sensitive but after adjustments, works pretty good. The lights are bright at their brightest setting and can be dimmed to your preferred light level. About a week later, without warning, when I manually tried to turn the floodlight on or off, it would turn back on even with the motion detection turned off. The lights were basically on all-the-time. I ultimately had to perform a soft reset of the device by holding the button down for 20-seconds and subsequently had to reset the network settings. Worked good for another week before it started losing connection to the network. My second Ring device, which is located about 10-feet from this one, was working fine so I knew it wasn't due to the Wi-Fi quality. It lost connection and it would not reconnect, no matter what I did, even after performing the soft reset. What fixed it this time was having to turn off the circuit breaker for about a minute removing all power from the device an turning it back on. We will call this a hard reset. After setting everything back up again, It has been working pretty well. That was a week ago. What's funny is that the arm/disarm schedule did not work right after the initial installation but after the hard reset has been working fine. Software issue? Hardware issue? Not sure. My advice to you if you should decide to purchase this device is to install in in-line on/off switch if it is not already set up that way. That way you don't have to hit the breaker when you need to do a hard reset. You will just be resetting the Ring floodlight and not everything else on the circuit. That is what I did. The issues you are reading about in the other reviews are very much legit and I can attest to that. However, it is a pretty good security device and it works well when it works. We will see how long it works after the hard reset and perhaps, if everything works right, I might upgrade this review to a four-star rating. Stay tuned. UPDATE!! So far so good. A month after the hard reset, we are still working perfectly. I have upgraded my rating to four-stars! It is my guess that we had some kind of problem while adding the device in the app or some kind of connection issue. So far, I am very pleased with this unit.

I've embraced the Ring Floodlight life with gusto. My house now has more of these vigilant orbs than a fancy Christmas tree. I'm pretty sure the local moths have filed a formal complaint about the sudden, unexpected daylight shifts. Because let me tell you, when these lights kick on, it's like someone flipped a switch to the sun. One minute it's a peaceful, shadowy night; the next, it's brighter than a game show finale. I half expect a host in a sparkly jacket to appear and announce, "You've won... security!" Jokes aside (mostly), these cameras are a real comfort. Before, my nighttime home security involved a vague sense of unease and the occasional nervous peek out the window. Now, if a particularly brave raccoon dares to sniff my garbage cans, they're instantly bathed in enough light to film a Hollywood blockbuster. And I get an alert! It's like having my own personal wildlife paparazzi. Being able to see who's at the door at night, before they even think about knocking, is fantastic. It's like having X-ray vision for my porch. No more fumbling for the peephole and potentially making awkward eye contact with the person trying to sell me magazine subscriptions at 9 PM. Yes, the initial cost made my wallet do a little dramatic fainting spell. But honestly, the peace of mind is worth a decent chunk of change. And here's the insider scoop: Ring products seem to go on sale with the regularity of my need for caffeine. Be patient, savvy shopper! Your bank account will eventually forgive you. So, if you want your yard to transform from night to high noon at the slightest provocation (be it a person, a squirrel, or a particularly enthusiastic tumbleweed), and you enjoy the thrill of near-instantaneous illumination paired with smartphone notifications, then the Ring Floodlight Camera is your new best friend. Just maybe warn your nocturnal neighbors – their melatonin levels might take a hit.
