I’m very happy with this Ring solar-powered camera, after 2 years still working great. The installation was super easy—even for someone who isn’t very handy—and it was up and running in no time. It works exactly as expected: clear video quality, responsive motion alerts, and solid performance day and night. The Ring Spotlight Cam Plus (Battery) has been a game-changer for my home security! We originally started with just a Ring doorbell many years ago but over the past 2.5 years, after moving into our forever home, we have added three of these cameras. Two are solar powered and one is directly wired to the house. All are attached to our Ring app and Alexa for easy and secure monitoring. They work wonderfully. The video and live feeds are extremely clear no matter if it’s day or night. The sound quality is also great. We haven’t needed the sirens but I have tested them and they are plenty loud. The cameras and solar panels were all very easy to install and setup on the app was a breeze. There are a lot of useful features and it’s very user friendly. Some of my favorite features are that we can set the sensitivity and areas to be monitored so we aren’t constantly getting alerts about the neighbors or cars and people coming by the front of the house. I think my only real complaint is that all the cameras need a battery even if they’re wired in. The cameras that are hooked to the solar panels need two batteries to hold a decent charge but I will say the solar panels do a great job of recharging them so I don’t have to climb my ladder to pull out batteries for recharging constantly.

Very happy with the Ring Spotlight Camera. I am able to monitor activity at my front door, each time I receive a notification of motion I check what has set the camera off. I can see when packages are delivered and who comes and goes in my driveway. Set up was very easy with great instructions. The automatic light feature is great and being able to speak through the camera and alarm feature added bonus.
