I was surprised how easily this works. So much so I bought another for our other TV. The menu is -1\2 * It has so much info and choices it can be overwhelming. The categories help and a categorie for free channels take a effort to find. We are allowed to rearrange the menu for favorites, It helps. If we choose to subscribe to some pay channels, Roku can include our subscription stations. I feel they encourage us to subscribe to some. But it's easy to work around once familiar. A neat feature on some free tv channels is a count down timer to tell how long the commercial is going to run. MUTE P break. Somehow there are fewer, farther apart, shorter, adds on free stations. The deluxe HD model is worth the extra cost including a upgraded remote and the image improvement is noticeable on our HD TV. I also bought the back lighted Rechargeable remote separately, They do need batteries or recharge regularly. It is still a little too complicated for Grand Ma who just wants to turn it on and watch her game shows. I would be a good mode. For some.

Love this item! I use it for my outdoor movie setup but you can also use it anywhere you have an HDMI hookup. The setup was pretty simple to navigate. It connects seamlessly with my projector and even though we are 200 ft from my home WiFi, we have had no wifi connection issues. Also, our family vacay is at a spot where they don’t have streaming setup. We can hook up this Roku device to our TV and have access to all our streaming apps. I also think this is a MUCH better option than the Amazon fire stick because it comes with a power cord. Amazon’s comparable product costs $20 more and you have to buy the power supply separately. No, absolutely not. This Roku device works well, has easy setup and is equal in value.

So happy with it! We canceled our satellite service after purchasing 3 of these and couldn't be happier, we do subscribe to the usual hulu, netflix, but it's so much cheaper then our satellite and it works and loads very fast

Paid $28 for it. Came same day. EZ to install on LG Monitor, that has internal speakers. Took me 15 minutes total to hook it up to a 27' LG curved monitor and voice remote is nice. You get what you pay for I like buying tech items from the manufacturer or maker. ROKU IS MY CHOICE Works great #REALREVIEWS tells it like it is.

It's super easy to setup, just had a few hiccups when I really first started it up. I wasn't sure why but the power wouldn't turn on and the Roku wouldn't start up. After a few tries of unplugging and plugging, it started to work and the setup was easy. It's very nice when you or the person has multiple subscriptions for streaming services and you want to use the TV without hooking it up to a laptop/PC. It's so compact that you can literally place is right nearby the TV without needing an extra stand for your laptop, (which I used to do). With a laptop, you would need another wireless keyboard and mouse to avoid standing up but with the Roku, just a remote and your phone if needed. Just keep a note that this Roku doesn't support wireless bluetooth earphones so if you're into that, don't buy this one. You would probably need to go through different products to get it working. The one good thing about a Roku is how you can just open the streaming app on your phone and cast it through there. It's very quick and better than using a remote control to type and look for what you want. Only downside is the connectivity has little bit of an issue at times, where my Samsung TV (not so smart but smart TV) has problems where the volume buttons don't work. I would have to pull out my actual samsung tv remote to control the volumes and then after a few hours, the roku remote controls work again. It is definitely a hassle and the reason why I docked one star off.

Everyone is saying the same thing: it's a truly excellent device. I particularly like the simple remote — it's solid and very easy to use. I now understand why Roku devices have become so popular. It's far better than Google Chromecast and Amazon Fire Stick. I take it with me when traveling or visiting friends — just plug it in and play (Wi-Fi setup is easy). Very handy.

I ordered this Roku Express 4k around 4 months ago. I originally had a Fire TV Stick and wanted to try one out. I really like this product. It's easy to set up and connect to your TV, and it looks great. I like that you can change the wallpaper between different styles, and the Apple AirPlay feature is something you can't do with a Fire TV Stick. flaws: The only problem that I have with my roku is that the airplay often doesn't work, wich can be annoying, so be aware of that. There are some useful features that the Roku Express 4k does NOT have: There is no option to change the brightness settings, and you can only connect headphones through Bluetooth if you turn on headphone mode on the Roku remote app with your headphones connected to your phone. Sound quality: The sound quality always depends on the quality of your TV/sound system, so the Roku will match the sound quality of your speakers. Video quality: The video quality of this is pretty crisp. I have a pretty old TV, and the speed and pixels look great. Buffering: I have had this product for about 4 months, and I have experienced little to no buffering. Overall, I really like this product and will most likely be purchasing it again.

Great device!!! Easy to hook up to our TV. This little device has now allowed our older smart TV to stream all of our paid as well as free programs, such as Prime, Netflix (which with the change in advertising(tiered payment)we were no longer able to watch Netflix unless we we paid the much higher subscription with no advertising, which we refused to pay). So so glad we purchased this!

Super fácil de instalar, de usar y un maravilla. Existen varias aplicaciones que uno puede descargar para ver películas, series o TV nacional de manera gratuita. Además, que genera un ahorro porque no es necesario contratar un paquete de TV como Izzy o Totalplay, solo es necesario el paquete internet. Por otro lado, considero que cualquier persona lo puede utilizar. Mi mamá que no es muy tecnológica inclusive le encontró fácil de usar. Solo a lo mejor organiza las aplicaciones qué más utilizará y listo.
