I purchased the bundle option with included 64gb microSD card and HDMI cable. Everything arrived as expected. The Roku LT was sealed in a box and appeared unused and new. Compared to my older Roku 3 and 4, this model is significantly more responsive. After connecting to my network (I tried both wired and wireless) activation was straightforward using my mobile phone. Of course, there were the obligatory software updates. Everything performed as expected. The remote control setup was easy as well. It recognized my Samsung 4K TV and power and volume controls were successfully mapped over without any fuss. I was easily able to add additional channels. The Roku quickly picked up streams without much delay. I'm happy with my purchase.

Works really good with my TV's. Video is really good. The only thing I would like with this Roku and I'm really surprise it's not available yet is the light up remote. I always watch TV on the dark and the light up remote is really helpful. Takes time to get adjusted to the buttons on the dark but I'm getting there. Other than that this thing is amazing.

The roku itself works wonderfully, though wireless connectivity sometimes is spotty despite being in the same room as the router. The biggest issue is that none of the components, other than the roku, in the package "deal" worked. I had to go buy a separate HDMI cable and SD card to make the system work.

Roku channel drops frequently when I am watching it. I have to exit channel, go back and resume. AR times when ad comes on, it will freeze frame. Unfortunately Imissed my return window by 10 days. Because it's a Roku device, unable to remove channel and re-add. Have 2 pay channels through Roku. Will change order to individual channel to see if that will help. Did check with internet provider and had enough speed this shouldn't happen and showed no connection drops. This issue is probably with Roku channel instead of the device.

Don't waste your money: This is no different to a Firestick only more bulky and a lot more expensive! There's no 64GB SD card, the "rechargeable remote" comes with 2 AA batteries that say "Do not charge" and the Channel buttons are just buttons to apps like Netflix and Disney+, the 6ft premium 4K ready HDMI cable is actually just like any normal HDMI cable and is just over 4ft long, and what Roku calls "Channels" is actually just Apps like Netflix, BBC iPlayer, ITVX etc. So the only way of watching live TV is through these streaming apps. If it's Apps you want, I advise a firestick, or if you want Channels, I recommend saving yourself £100 by just getting a Freeview Box.

Roku as a service is not really that great. Tubi is much, much better. But the Roku Ultra device is easily worth the price. You can add Tubi and Pluto.tv as Roku apps and you'll get much wider selection. Using Tubi with the Roku device is much easier than casting from an android or other device and, unlike Roku channels, you can continue your Tubi viewing in your web browser on your desktop which I find very convenient with my dual monitor setup. Note there are a lot of other options you can add such as Plex.tv, I'm just using Tubi as an example because it is far more sensible in the way it presents ads compared to the others that may randomly interrupt your viewing many times in a short period of time. The thing about this Roku device is that you can pretty much tailor your experience to your own sensibilities from completely free and easy (my sensibility, hence Tubi) to a portal for all your paid subscriptions such as Netflix, Prime Video, etc. It is dead simple to add and remove services, as it should be. The remote is really outstanding communicating through walls two rooms away, and I love that you can plug the included earphone right into the remote if your bluetooth earbuds run out. I'd give it five stars except I resent there being no power button so I have to use a power bar to shut her down over night.

This company simply looked at Google and facebook and said "me too!" The demands for personal information before you're "allowed" to do anything whatsoever with it is absolutely mindboggling. It's bad enough you're not even allowed to watch "free" tv(even your own hard drive or usb stick) without the usual email address/password, because god forbid you just watch tv! But that's screen one. Then name, physical address, phone number, credit card number(whether you want any paid "services" or not is irrelevant)...it even demands to know what room of your house the unit is in, and what brand of tv it's connected to! There's a trick to getting around the credit card info(though it isn't easy) but not the rest. The DEMAND(NOT a request) for your tv's make is allegedly so the remote can work with your tv - except it doesn't. At all. Not that they're asking whether you care. Ever. There's no "skip" option for any of the above. The remote doesn't do much. And what it does do is infuriatingly slow and of course has to make a sound you would never have asked for. And there's no OFF function. Seriously. There's a power button to turn it on, but it won't turn it off. Really. It won't turn off unless you unplug the power cord. Otherwise it's on forever. The auto-off function doesn't work, like most of the remote's "functions". And the ones that do work, don't necessarily do what the button suggests. Most of the setup will need to be done twice, or more. It "forgets" things apparently and erases things you spent several minutes entering; info it doesn't need, that I don't want to give it, that has nothing to do with my potential use of this POS. Absolutely HAS TO be entered if you want to use the device YOU paid for. Nothing is intuitive or generally even useful. I only bought this over a firestick because I wanted to plug in an external hard drive full of my own files. It took over an hour to get that simple function to "work", but between the slow navigation and the horrible display(as little as possible displayed on the tv screen; 99% wasted space/ads) it's not really useful for that. It's about on par with the first media players from about 20 years ago. And oh yeah - ads. Because paying for it isn't enough. You also need to see ads, because of course. And then to top if all off they include "I love Roku" stickers, ffs. Seriously. Put that energy into making a worthwhile product. Those stickers went straight into the fire. Buy a cheap old laptop to plug into your tv and you'll have a thousand times more control and better performance. This is just paying $100+ to give Roku a bunch of your personal info so that you can use a slow, ugly, infuriating version of the internet. This is a bright, shining example of what's wrong with technology today. I can't think of one positive aspect of this device or my experience with it.
