90’s SP fan and just as much as ever Today. Cool compilation (but missing Mayonnaise). They rock, so a good addition to your collection.

I recommend this greatest hits album for anyone wanting to get exposed to the Smashing Pumpkins.

This a great memory cd for all those who think 1991 was the most important music year in the modern rock era. Particularly in the Detroit area, where we had 89X (and to a lesser extent, The River) playing great new music with the Seattle Sound, a ton of great Canadian groups, Alternative, some MTV experimenters, and then of course the Smashing Pumpkins. I had forgotten how much I loved their first songs. No misses on this disc. (P.S. I reviewed this because Amazon said they would send me a joke if I reviewed six purchases. If you're just doing the reviews to see the joke, that's a mistake. The jokes aren't that good.)

It's like a lot of greatest hits compilations, got some hits and got some misses. Overall good album.

...Smashing Pumpkins!!

Pretty good greatest hits collection, which was surprising to me as Billy Corgan's singing used to really get on my nerves years ago. I will say his cover of Stevie Nicks' Landslide is atrocious. Artists shouldn't cover other people's songs if they've got nothing new or interesting to add to it. Some of their earlier stuff is a bit noisy, but overall a decent collection.

Que hay que decir. Primera edición oficial en vinilo de este recopila torio de las calabazas aplastadas. Faltaría algún tema pero solo por la calidad de sonido y edición ya se te olvida. Además puedes escuchas por primera vez algún tema en vinilo oficial.

Wenn ich die Smashing auflege fühl ich mich wieder wie 20 und direkt in die 90er zurück katapultiert. Ich sitze in einer rauchigen Disse wo Bier und Schnäpse in Strömen fließen... Die Scheibe ist ein Geschenk an alle Fans und verbreitet ein Flair wie kaum eine andere. Eine wahre Compilation ihrer besten Hits. Keine Füller. Alles edelste Mugge der SP. Für mich mehr als genial, da ich mir z.B. die einzelnen LPs wie Siames Dream nicht auf Vinyl leisten kann da dafür Mondpreise fällig sind. 2nd Press find ich auch zu teuer (wieso muss man mittlerweile aus jedem Album eine Doppel LP fertigen ?! aber das ist ein anderes Thema). Wer die SPs mag findet mit dieser Best of wirklich eine sehr schöne Sammlung ihrer wirklich besten Hits. Die Pressung ist in meinen Ohren anstandslos. Viel Spaß mit der Zeitmaschine.
