Click to play video I am really surprised at the quality. I paid $35 for this in the 3x5 size. It’s worth way more imo. I bought it for my entry way. I’m living in a rental and the quality of the “wood” flooring (actually crappy mdf or pressed cardboard, like theee worst flooring material you could imagine) in my house is awful. I bought a huge area rug for my living area to cover the crappy floor but I have two dogs, 3 kids and a construction working husband constantly in and out. I didn’t want my new beautiful rug to get destroyed, and trust me, if you could only see the amount of dirt they track into this house!! It’s insane! I needed something durable and able to trap dirt etc to stop it from getting tracked further into the house and onto to my beautiful new area rug. The first rug I bought for the entryway was beautiful.. at least on the Amazon listing. Big blue monstera leaves for the pattern, advertised as an entry rug, among all the other uses. I was really disappointed when I opened it. If you look at my Amazon profile, you’ll find the reviews of that rug (and of the new area rug) to see for yourself. The pattern was printed onto the top of what was a very flimsy, albeit soft, nonskid rug like something you would only use for staging or decor. That rug cost me over $40 3x5. I immediately went back on Amazon and ordered this. It came securely packaged in a roll, wrapped in plastic, taped, wrapped tightly in more plastic, and taped again. I was very happy to see how it was shipped because I’ve ordered rugs before that came shipped in a roll with no plastic protection, like literally just slapped the shipping label right on the rug. I unrolled it and the end was curled which is expected. I walked away to find something to find something heavy to set on it to help flatten it and by the time I came back it was completely flat lol. It is rough on the feet which is exactly what I was looking for to help trap the dirt. It doesn’t hurt and it isn’t unpleasant to be barefoot on. It is real natural material and extremely well made with a thick fabric material securely sewn on the outside border. I am so pleased with it that I ordered a second one and the same size so I can set one in front of the entry for my garage door where I keep the cats litter box. I have been looking for a litter box mat and realized this couldn’t be any more perfect for that purpose, and is literally lightyears better (and cheaper) than litter box mats of the same size. I am going to buy a third for right outside my front door too, and may buy a runner to go under patio furniture I have under the awning on the narrow walkway in front of my house. It’s beautiful and extremely well made.

This is such a beautiful rug. The color is perfect, the size is 6’ round. The boarder stitching is well done. The texture of this rug is what I expected. There was a few strands I had to tuck/weave under, no big deal for this type of rug. I step on this barefoot & it is smooth with a little hardness to the touch. The weight of the rug is perfect & stays in place. The smell is not strong, it actually reminds me of being by the ocean! The thickness is perfect!

This is a good quality rug. It is made of natural material which is not necessarily rough on your feet but not soft like a normal rug. I think it will be great at our main traffic door. The material will help to trap dirt and other debris that comes off of shoes. It seems like it will hold up to all of the traffic. It’s a great neutral colored rug which goes well with my home. True to the colors in the description and as expected. It has a nice backing on it so that the rug won’t move around but stays in place. It is a thick material but not too thick that the door will not shut. I would recommend this rug

I've owned many homes and several sea grass rugs. This is the real deal. It smells like a new rug...that's a good thing! Don't know why people need to complain about that. The rug was an amazing deal. The quality excellent. Thank you Safavieh! It was kink free right out of the wrap.

Click to play video Was going to exchange this rug for the marble/beige 8 square area rug. Then, I noticed the marble beige was less of the sisal I wanted, so I was going to keep this rug. Just unwrapped it and it had a water spot in one area, and was dirty in another area. Frustrating! Otherwise, it would be a beautiful rug! I would keep it, but I don’t want a rug that is dirty (maybe previously returned. I also, purchased ProtectMe to protect the rug from stains. I’ll be using the spray once I receive a clean rug!

I bought two of these in 2017 and have used one under my kitchen dining table which gets regular everyday use and one under a pool table which is often used and they have absolutely withstood the test of time these past 8 years. They still look as beautiful now as they did when I bought them with very little, if any, signs of wear which is astounding! They are very durable and quite beautiful. I would highly recommend these rugs and will be buying more for other rooms soon.

I don't usually write reviews, but felt compelled to for this one. Poor quality. Many fibers already loose and pulling up when we opened it, and also shed like crazy. Made our living room look like a barn floor. As many others have mentioned, the smell is quite strong. Smells like a pumpkin patch, like bales of hay. As if that weren't enough, the worst part of all is that it is painful to walk on. The upturned loose fibers were sharp and felt like splinters. Even the correctly woven fibers were uncomfortable. Just sitting on the couch with my feet on the rug was so uncomfortable that I was constantly shifting/readjusting just to relieve the pressure points on my feet. Nobody should be walking on this thing without shoes, and even then I've heard from other comments that it gets moldy if left outside. Overall very poor product. We returned immediately.

Beautiful rug! Excellent quality. It's not soft on your feet but it provides this almost nice massage under your feet when you do walk on it. I love how their was a rug backing incorporated underneath to protect the floors and from slipping on hardwood. Thank you!
