This is an amazing TV for the price. Picture quality is great with vibrant colors. Audio output to my soundbar is incredible. The interface is snappy without any lag. The screen is bright enough for a room with some outdoor light. Setup was very easy and I appreciated the easy to install footstands, which required no tools or screws. The remote is unique and charges via solar, so it has to be kept facing the right direction. It remains to be seen how well it will stay charged with ambient light, but it can also be charged with USB. I don't particularly like the up/down audio/channel buttons. It is awkward having to slide the buttons up and down rather than directly press them. I find myself inadvertently muting the volume a lot. I was considering a comparably priced TCL with better raw specs, but I opted for the Samsung. Compared to another TCL Q series I own, the Samsung is more polished, less glitchy, and has much better upscaling and motion processing. Since I watch a lot of sports, this is very important. You'll need to adjust the judder reduction to your liking. Somewhere in the middle (3-6) works best for me. There are a few caveats. First, this is not a high end OLED or Mini LED TV. You should not expect the performance of a TV that costs twice as much or more. HDR is adequate and surprisingly good for the price, but not stellar. The viewing angle is not the best, and the TV lacks some features (it is only 60hz) that may be important for some. The picture needs some calibration out of the box. At first, dark scenes appeared a little washed out, but I was able to fix this by lowering shadow detail slightly. Here are the settings that I found work best: SDR Brightness: 45 Contrast: 50 Shadow Detail: -2 Gamma 2084: 2 Tone: Warm1 Color Booster: Low Blue Light Reduction: On Contrast Enhancer: Off HDR Brightness: 50 Contrast: 50 Shadow Detail: -2 Gamma 2084: 2 Tone: Warm1 Color Booster: Low Blue Light Reduction: On HDR Tone Mapping: Static Contrast Enhancer: Low I was considering splurging for a higher end model, but I am glad I didn't. This TV is perfectly suitable for general use and will make most people happy without breaking the bank.

I can’t believe all of these reviews aren’t 5s. The picture is truly amazing, we were blown away. Set up was extremely easy. I really like how the legs can be put in the middle (which makes them very inconspicuous and can fit on smaller stands) or on each end. This a terrific value for a quality qled tv from a reputable brand.

The device has a very unintuitive and spam ridden interface. only by it if you really want to spend a lot of time figuring out how to turn off the features that they have so "helpfully" added that will play content that you do not want and that you did not download. I don't know why it can't just be a TV.

I got this TV to replace the smaller TV in my room. I have it wall mounted using a wide bracket wall mount that holds up to 100 lbs. The size of this is perfect for where it is. The picture quality is really good. If you want the Smart TV functions, it is easily to setup the first time you turn it on, but you do have to agree to several data collection agreements from Samsung. The remote is small, easily to use, and USB-C rechargeable. It's a pretty good deal at $450 and it is a 2025 model. Another good thing is the way you can connect to the internet/home network. You can use either WIFI or RJ-45. WIFI was easily to setup as well. Some of the issues I have run into is: - The home screen is very cluttered. They try to make it look like how the streaming services make their main windows look like. It is very confusing to find what you are looking for. There is one panel that is used for all the different output, that is difficult to figure out how to change at first, and you can't tell what panel is selected when you go to click the panel. - Secondly, I only use Roku 4k express on this TV so I don't need to use their home screen but, unfortunately, the remote will not sync with the TV to allow volume and power control. Hopefully this gets fixed in an update, either Samsung or Roku.
