I bought this for my PS5 but my PS5 didn't like it every time I used this with my PS5 it would complain and tell me I would have to format it every single time I turned on my PS5. So just don't buy it for that but I've been using it as a backup for my storage server for the last year and It works amazing for that. Really fast and durable. Always love a Samsung SSD I got a nvme 4.0 one for my boot drive in both of my windows devices and those were a night and day difference from my old boot ssds
