Image quality is great, interface with the PC is great. The only minus is the weird little track-pad-nub-style button under the monitor by which you access the menu. You have to use this weird anachronism to set the refresh rate to the advertised 144 Hz - it comes preset at 60 Hz for some strange reason.

Got this monitor to replace my old acer 3D monitor. The feature 3D on the monitor should tell you how long ago I purchased a monitor. So I'm expecting a nice longitivy with this monitor. I've only had it for about 4 days so I'll leave that part out for now. Now I consider myself a hardcore gamer as I put in anywhere from 60-90 hrs a week just gaming. Moving up to 1440p has been great games look much better but I quickly found that my 1070 can't play all my games at ultra settings but visually it still looks amazing. Now I play zero competitive games honestly dont care for it. So that may affect some for this review. But for me as a single player only type gamer this monitor had zero tearing, zero lag, zero flickering, and no issues with ghosting. The monitor has 144hz but me turning all my games to the highest settings I was lucky if i broke 100 fps most my games stayed around 60-80 fps. Some even dropped to 30s or 40s so again I want to stress I'm not a competitive player so this had no affect on me. So of course all the positives I just said this monitor could do with no issues. HDR is ok on it but didn't expect much and it's not a feature I would use anyways. Now the VESA mount it does work for the G5 however, make sure you use the rubber washers included in your monitor arm if you use one. When I first tried to set this up the placement of the 75x75 made it difficult because of the round backing. So the rubber washers helped lift it up just a bit so that the VESA mount was perfect. Now I didn't have any dead pixels another plus with this monitor and the backlight bleed for me was hardly noticeable so plus again. The 1000r curve made me completely fine with losing 3D as I'm in the minority who loves 3D gaming along with 3D movies. But after seeing the curve and how it works I'm perfectly fine with losing that feature now. Overall, I'm very happy with this monitor especially since I was able to nab this at $200 which I dont know of any 1440p 144hz you can get at that price so as long as this monitor can give me 5+ years I'm going to recommend anyone who is not a competitive player to grab this.

This is an amazing monitor to use for gaming, art, and entertainment. It is life changing going from 60hz 1080p to going to 120hz 1440p. Seeing more frames and having a clearer resolution makes your reaction times in games like Valorant, CS:GO, DOOM Eternal, and other shooters much more faster after getting used to it of course. I also use this monitor as my primary monitor for using 3d modeling software such as Blender. Having a bigger screen means having a bigger workspace for the models and the effects. For other forms of digital art you have a larger canvas to look at. Lastly, for entertainment such as videos and movies, if the resolution of the media can go to 1440p it is great, if not, then 1080p is what you get. This is a great monitor for productivity, highly recommend for anyone for anything!

This monitor, the G5, is a huge upgrade from my old ASUS VS228. The 144hz is smooth and makes games feel much more responsive (when I can run them that well). The FreeSync works with GSync on my GTX 1660 Super, and makes everything feel even smoother. It gets plenty bright, and the configuration menus are very easy to navigate with the fairly intuitive power button/navigation stick. I was definitely confused from the reviews here before. The G7 reviews are also available on this page, which is not often made clear. There is no LED on the back of the G5, just the small light by the power button to indicate on/off working modes. The HDR is honestly lackluster. It does provide a slightly higher dynamic range and makes available things like HDR-compatible YouTube videos, but it washes out lots of the colors. Everything will generally look better if you just keep HDR off in Windows settings. The reviews I’ve seen here seem to indicate that the HDR on the G7 is much nicer, so I’ll be considering upgrading to that when I can. Overall, this is a great choice for people looking for 1440p or 144hz gaming/content. This monitor does of course have flaws, and it can be frustrating to find out what those are through the disorganized reviews here. Hopefully you see this review and it sheds some more light on this product!

So far so good, only had it a week, just in time to play Cyberpunk 2077 on my series X. I’ve been playing Red Dead 2 and it looks phenomenal on this monitor. I would say if you can snag one at the MSRP, I would do it in a heartbeat. You are unlikely to find the specs this monitor has for cheaper then $300. I bought it purely for gaming at 1440p and it has not disappointed me at all. It’s a major go for next gen consoles and PCs alike. I have experienced no issues with ghosting or any dead pixels as others have stated. However a few things to note, it does not get very bright so I would not recommend using it in very bright rooms. Also the ergonomics kind of suck, it only tilts up a few degrees. No height adjustment or pivot. For the price though that I got this on cyber Monday, those are all things I’m willing to deal with.

After a side-by-side comparison with my TN panel, this IPS panel is like a breath of fresh air. The quality is amazing and the colours are clear and crisp. One thing I noticed was that the screen seems marginally darker at the bottom left and right corners. I only noticed this when I was doing dead-pixel tests. It's not noticeable during regular operation.
