However, this range hood is not only appealing to the eye, but it also delivers a powerful punch in terms of its practicality and performance. Due to the well-designed mounting method and the precise instructions that were supplied, the installation process was far less complicated than expected. Immediately, one of the aspects that attracted my eye was the diversity of the venting choices that were available. The fact that this range hood can satisfy your demands, regardless of whether you want a ducted or ductless system, makes it an outstanding option for both new construction and retrofit projects. After the installation was complete, the range hood's full magic became readily apparent. The strong but whisper-quiet engine is able to effectively collect and filter out even the most tenacious scents and smoke that are produced by culinary products. It is no longer necessary to frantically wave a dish towel in order to clear the air or to open windows in order to ventilate the kitchen since this range hood takes care of all of these tasks with simplicity.

Love this fan, great suction and noise level is quieter than most I've used. High is obviously louder but it's to be expected. I like the 3 speeds but find it a little annoying it starts on high and you have to go through all the speeds to get it on low, which has plenty of suction so is what I've been using most. I also like that it has a timer shut off so you don't have to walk back and turn it off during meal time, just set the timer and walk away and enjoy your family time/meal. Filters are easy enough to remove, haven't washed them yet but don't expect any issues. The light placement could be better, they're at the very back of the fan and not extremely bright. I have enough ceiling lighting it's not an issue but for someone who does not have adequate lighting, they definitely wouldn't be helpful for cooking. The tab on one of the vent flappers came broken...I contacted the company and they sent me new ones very quickly, no questions asked. The chimney extensions seemed to be a bit of a pain for our contractor to install but he made it work. All in all very happy with this fan and customer service. The big logo is a bit gaudy but minor to me. It comes covered in blue protective wrap which came off much easier than I anticipated. A sharp blade to score at the seams was helpful. Definitely take off what you can before install, or at least pull it away from the places close to the wall.

Good product horrible packaging. The sheet metal was bent and assembled with the blue protective cover on it, so it was trapped in all the overlaps. Easy to assemble and install took about 35 minutes. Then it took me over 70 minutes to get all the protective film off from all the seams and over lapping areas. I would have given 5 stars if it wasn't for the issue with removing the film.

The protective film was applied before assembly, making it impossible to fully remove from the crevices. I’ve already spent an hour just on the hood, and I’d have to disassemble the product to get the rest off. This is frustrating and unsafe—imagine the film melting onto food! Why apply the film before assembly? The light one you can take off, but the other one is not removable.

Bought a Condo and renovating. Replaced the kitchen and this was my range hood replacement. Works just fine. Noise level far quieter than the previous one. Easy plug and play (if your range has an outlet) I cut the cord to hard wire into existing power lines making it super simple to me. No complaints but some heads up 1: as noted from others all the stainless protective wrap took some time to get off. I suggest have a hobby knife or utility knife with fresh blade to trim around the lights and grooves. Otherwise you get little torn pieces sticking out. Other reviews prepared me for that and I had no issues when approaching the film. 2: this has a 6” vent outlet and flexible vent duct included. The existing vent was duct was a 4” so I did require a reducer from 6”-4”. Slide on perfect to the top of the hood then some metal duct tape sealed it in nicely. 3: Duct cover was a little time consuming but once lined up fit well and looks great. Use the little screws provided for top bracket and fits flush with ceiling. Overal no complaints.

This hood range is nice looking but was not easy to install and my husband is an electrician and it took him 2 days to figure out how to hang up the top portion of the hood that meets the ceiling. The instructions are not great and my husband wasnt able to attach the hood the way the instructions read, instead he screwed wood to the ceiling and attached the hood to that with small screws. Also the lights are in the back which now I think should be in the front closer to where the cook is standing to the stove.

The installation is not for the faint of heart. If you haven’t done diy stuff around the house, this can be real pain to install. Not all areas are going to accommodate the size that you get. So be careful to measure your area before hand, otherwise you may be in for a surprise, causing headaches in all sorts of post planning efforts. The material itself is above par, and the look is a lot better than what we had before. The finish is smooth and the lights are bright with adjustment buttons that give you a decent choice for the fan speeds. The grill is a nice touch, and you get all the accessories you need for a reasonably adjustable fit. Remeber these are not made for precision. So if you have to bend a little, or fill a gap here and there a little, its to be expected, since your space has probably shifted as well over time, and may have contorted to prevent a perfect fit, if you are installing it between cabinets for example. The fan speeds are adequate, and seem stronger than what we had before. Though, that could be because its new. Overall, an above average product, that may require patience installing it. I needed a specific size of range hood that would fit my application/space. I had less than 8" of working clearance vertically and this range hood was basically my only option under $500. Everything arrived well packaged with no damage. Super thankful to not have the logo plastered over the front of the hood - it was blank. I had to slightly bend the baffles back to straight and hand force some of the pieces that weren't quite aligned together but I made due. No real issues mounting. Previous reviews are wrong about the range hood mounting method - it's similar to other higher end brands. The range hood is also supposed to be secured once it's hung with the bracket from two screws (per the manual) whereas a previous review claimed it could simply be knocked off. Manual calls for 8mm drill bit size - went slightly smaller. Chimney was a pain for sure - the holes definitely do not line up and it's really tough to close the gap along the top. The whole rangehood is really light - not sure the quality of the blower motor but I compared it to another 450 cfm range I had on hand and they were quite close. No problems with the touch screen controls. Ordered a replacement set of 68mm 1.5w 12v rangehood lights in warm white to replace the ones included. The worst part I will confirm - the blue protective wrap is an absolute PAIN. The steel was clearly bent with the wrap on before riveting so good luck getting it all off. Also wish the electrical plug was a 90 degree - not sure you could place the receptacle within the chimney cover using ridgid duct. If the blower motor actually lasts I'd consider buying another one in the future.
