This range hood does make some sound when running on low but it is pretty low and does a great job at drawing air up and light is really nice . I really like look and ease of using it great product .

It looks great. Everything is working as intended. The lights are bright, but I wish they were a little bit of a warmer light. The controls are ok, I just wish you could turn the fan off without having to turn the whole thing off. I am using the ductless option, so it may be different slightly if you use the ducted option. The fan suction is poor. Plus the fan is offset to the right. I get no suction on the left side at all. The right side is minimal suction. A sheet of paper barely stays held up on the right, and just falls down on the left side. The fan exhaust does blow quite a bit of air, but that is because it's a very small vent. If you use the ducted option, it might be slightly better....not sure. All in all, I would not recommend this, and would not buy this again.

Works well. Does what it has to do. Only issue is can’t turn the fan off by pressing fan. Have to turn odd using the power off but then it turns clock off as well.

Looks great, fans a bit louder than I would like but hey, it's a fan. The light is super bright. Good quality for the price. Much better than what I was able to find in the same price range in local stores.

Great product. Louder than I expected but that isn't significant verses the value and quality

I bought 2 of these - one to use as a vented fan, and the other to use as a ductless fan in my rental property. Value is very good for this price point. Compare fans at big box stores which cost more but which have flimsy baffles - most of these are not removable for cleaning. The baffles on this fan are very sturdy and snap in easily. There is only one motor on one side of the fan but it works very well and there are no cooking odours in the kitchen or house when it is on.. Have not tried the ductless fan yet. Not keen on the bright whIte LED lights , but overall a very good product. Would have no hesitation to purchase again or to recommend.

We're still working on kitchen renovations and I have been quite surprized at how difficult it is to find a reasonably priced range hood that looks nice and can move 450+ CFMs of airflow. Happy to say that this range hood by SNDOAS meets all of the above requirements as it looks great, moves 500 CFMs of airflow, and is very reasonably priced. Tip: Make sure you use a 60 inch pipe to maximize air flow. We installed this range hood in newly renovated kitchen, installation was easy with nothing special to note, we did use a 6 inch exhaust pipe. Air flow was very good on high, in fact we only use the lower speeds for our cooking unless we are frying or doing something with a lot of steam. Controls are easy to use, love the LED display, and the filters are easy to remove for cleaning. Last note is that the lighting effect is nice with the two lights at the front of the range hood creating a nice look that matches our pot lights. You can buy a kit to allow for a ductless installation, I would not recommend this as I find this type of installation is not very effective. Good to recommend this range hood as it's a good quality product at a very good price considering it's look and performance.

This is one of the best range hoods I have seen in this price range. (Have seen these models selling for 1/3 more.) It has up to 500 CFM airflow, double the requirement of a 30" stove. Considering my 300 CFM with the fan at the back center of the range picks up nearly all the smoke and smells very well when I am using the front burners on my 30" stove top, I am really looking forward to using this one where the fan is more forward centered, off to the the right side. It will definitely do a much better job at preventing smoke and smells escaping, especially with it's excellent air circulation of 500 CCM when on the highest setting! The lights are position perfectly to light up my cooking area well and the timer feature means I can leave it running when done cooking to catch the left over smells, then it will turn itself off automatically. I can also really feel the quality in it's weight, and it is quite solid for a range hood. Since there is no slant and the baffle filters cover the entire range area, there will not be a need for me to use an oil catcher. Plus, the thicker stainless steel baffle filters, being dishwasher friendly, will be very easy to maintain. (As long as I keep up on cleaning these filters, there should be no issues at all.) And for those that want to install it without venting, there is an option to separately purchase a carbon filter kit for the fan! I am not quite ready to install this range hood just yet, but I can honestly say that it is exactly what I was looking for to go with my future kitchen renovation, the perfect addition to my kitchen once I complete the renovation and upgrade all my appliances to stainless steel.

I recently installed this range hood and have mixed feelings about it. While it has some nice features, there are a few things that hold it back from being great. Pros: - Sleek Design: The stainless steel finish gives it a modern look that fits well with my kitchen decor. It’s compact and doesn’t take up too much space under the cabinet. - Touch Control & Three Speeds: The touch control panel is easy to use, and the three fan speeds are helpful for adjusting ventilation based on what I’m cooking. - Quick start up. The fan starts up pretty quickly especially when turning it on to the fastest setting. - Ductless Option: The ductless design was perfect for my setup, and it’s a convenient choice for those who don’t want to install external ducting. Just be sure to order and install the filters (which are not included). They recommend changing it every 3 months. - Well placed lights. The lights are bright and well placed ensuring that my cooking area is well illuminated. Cons: - Small, Off-Centered Fan: One of my main issues is with the fan. It’s smaller than I expected and isn’t centered in the hood, which affects how effectively it pulls in smoke and odors from my stove. Cooking on the sides of the stove sometimes leaves lingering odors since the fan doesn’t seem to cover the full area evenly. - Noise Level: At the highest setting, the fan noise can be a bit loud, which is something to consider if you’re sensitive to noise in the kitchen. Final Thoughts: Overall, this range hood is decent for light cooking but may not be ideal for more intensive use. The off-centered, small fan doesn’t provide the best coverage, which limits its efficiency. It’s a budget-friendly option with a sleek look, but if you do a lot of heavy cooking, you might want to consider a range hood with a stronger and better-positioned fan.
