Overall, this vacuum works great! The battery life is solid, and it gets the job done quickly. I did have a couple of bags that seemed to leak, but the majority are holding up really well. The plastic is decently thick, and even after moving to a new house, most of the bags didn’t sustain any damage. Definitely a handy tool for saving space and keeping things organized.

[updated] This company has top notch customer service. They reached out and said there was a manufacturing issue with the bags and sent me a replacement. I had been temporarily using freezer bags to store my filament spools, but these bags are definitely thicker and more durable than those freezer bags. The vacuum is small, but works well to create a vacuum in the bag well. The seal is a little finnicky and requires some effort to line up correctly. I found a 3d printable that helped 100% with getting a consistent seal (look for vacuum bag helper/accessory in your favorite 3d model site). I like that they include silica gel bags. Once vacuumed, it looks exactly like how they would be when they arrive new. Original review: The bags were nice and thick and were the perfect size for 1kg filament. Unfortunately, the vacuum just wouldn’t work with the holes on the bag. I think the holes are defective.

This filament is terrible. First of all, it suffers from horrible bed adhesion issues. You will need to use glue or a large raft to print consistently, which wastes a lot of material and makes the print take much longer. When you put this into perspective, using this filament is more expensive than using premium PLA+ filament, which will not require rafts and will print much more consistently. Secondly, this filament has horrible stringing issues. I have tested with a variety of settings, but the stringing always remains. As pictured, I performed a temperature test for stringing, and it had pretty bad stringing across the entire temperature range. Third, the filament is brittle and weak. The things I printed were all very weak and brittle, even for PLA. I made a few things which snapped immediately when they absolutely should not have, and its probably due to poor self-adhesion. Finally, either due to stringing problems, inconsistent width, or a combination or multiple factors, this filament is unable to decently print anything except the most basic things without artifacts. Pictured is the barrel of a toy tank that I was printing, where the filament left all of these extremely ugly artifacts. I also had to increase the walls count for that print, as the first attempt snapped in half immediately, due to poor self-adhesion of the filament. The only thing I was able to print decently with this were very basic bases for miniatures. Due to the aforementioned poor bed adhesion, this required a raft which almost doubled the amount of filament needed. The cost of high quality PLA+ is not that much more than this, 5 dollars a kg more at MOST. And considering that with this filament you will experience failures and need expensive rafts, you will literally save money by going with something more high quality. eSUN PLA+ is my go-to now, but there are many other very good brands out there. Buy something else instead of this.

Wish I could leave half stars, I'd give this 3 and a half. I had to return my first one because it didn't have any suction. The replacement came and everything is functional. The little vacuum charges and sucks the air out of the bags. The bags are where that 1.5 stars are deducted because I've had 3 bags out of the 8 used not hold the vacuum seal. I can't tell where, but 3 of the bags just don't stay vacuum sealed no matter how I seal it. They weren't overloaded either, it was mostly loose filament samples or single small spools. But, all that being said... the percentage of success is still the higher number.

Exactly what I needed and comes with desiccant. Bags are transparent so you don't have to try to figure out which is which, I can read the labels through the bag. The vacuum charges via USB C like everything does now, so that's a plus.

Sunlu is a great brand that is budget friendly. I am using this to make replacement doors for a pet door.

Took a bit of fidgeting and frustration but then I figured it out. You don't have to be pretty precise with the placement of the vacuum and eventually you should see it break the the seal and start sucking out air! Haven't tested to see if it holds well yet but so far so good!

OK buyer, you need some filament, and Matterhackers is too expensive. you came to Amazon looking for some quality product, but you've heard horror stories about wet filament and so on. well this stuff is the stuff to get. The name of it is super Chinese, but the product itself hasn't given me any issues, I've ordered many many rolls of this stuff printed it painted it and sent it on. I'm not going to tell you its some "top shelf" stuff or that its the best in the world but here is what i will tell you buyer. it works, it goes in your machine, it prints, and generally this company has some of the better deals out there for pricing. so buy some and print it for yourself. it will get through your printer just fine, and IF you manage to find a wet reel (it does happen with ALL the companies from time to time ) Bake @ 170F for 3 hours, and it wont be wet anymore.

Bags do as intended to keep filament dry and the auto pump is fantastic to use (no more pumping manually) and charges quickly thru USB.
