Perfect fit replacement bulb (but I already knew that before I ordered the package). I have 50 years of electronics and repair technician experience, so I always do my research before any online purchase. For Sylvania halogen bulbs, there are 4 different classes (according to the back of the package). From Basic to the SilverStar Ultra version I bought. You can review the package chart on the back online before your purchase. I did. The Basic and maybe the next level up, are made in China. Hey, if you're the thrifty type, buy the Chinese products before the proposed tariff war starts. I bought the top of the line because the ratings (by the manufacturer) were the highest compared to the lowest price version. If the headlight replacement for your car requires you to stand on your head and have three assistants (read your car manual and search DIY videos), then please buy the better version. My car, a 2014 Accord, required some minor contorting by my wrist and forearm but I won't be doing that again anytime soon. One important detail: DO NOT touch the halogen bulb "glass" with your fingers.; Your skin oil will cause the "glass" to fry in one spot and prematurely age the bulb. Trust me. Halogen bulbs have been around since the 1960's and I know what I'm talking about. Hold the replacement bulb by its plastic base.

I installed these bulbs in my car in march 2023, around 2 years there was no issue and they worked well. It definitely improved my night time driving. However last week ( march 1st week 2025) they both burned out at same time. I did check and re-installed my original one as it's unsafe. As I liked these bulbs too much so ordered again, I think there life span is 2 years max, my car has auto feature so it may decreased the bulbs life but these are overall good bulbs to improve night vision with halogen bulbs. Waiting for new pair.

Changing my entire review, these are TERRIBLE and the company is NO HELP whatsoever. Bought these last summer, had them for exactly 2 weeks over 1 year when my driver's side bulb burnt out. First of all, I usually buy the standard, cheap $10 bulbs and it's amazing how they last for years without issue. Bought a new truck and decided I wanted nice high end bulbs for it so I went with these. After exactly 54 weeks, one blew. I contacted support about the warranty but was told I was S.O.L since it was over the warranty period (by 2 weeks)... Well, I went and bought another set at full price since I wanted them to match. Not even 2 months later, my pass side is also burnt out. So that lasted 14 months. How is it that the cheap $5-$10 bulbs last years, but the high end bulbs that are 6-10x the cost hardly last 1 year?? You'd think theyd say "hey u know what, we'll just honor the warranty even tho it's 2 weeks over", but nope, they could care less. So I'll make sure I NEVER buy this brand again. I've also messaged my friends/family to give them a heads up to never spend the extra $ on the "high end" bulbs since the cheaper ones seem to work much better, and to just avoid this brand Sylvania in general. Horrible product, horrible support.

She had been complaining about her night vision having gotten so bad she wasn't driving at night any more! I got a 3M lens polishing kit for the clear plastic headlight covers. They had gotten kind of whitish/yellowish from sun exposure and foggy. And something I didn't appreciate is that HOURS OF OPERATION are what deplete the service life of these light bulbs. They won't burn out until years after they should have been replaced! Replace them about IDK, once per year! It might seem excessive, and perhaps the timetable is longer, but still -- replace them when they have been used a bunch.. don't wait for them to get so bad and keep driving until they eventually burn out. Other question: Why are these little light bulbs SO EXPENSIVE?

Nice and bright, one issue is they don't last. Replace driver or passenger side at least once a year, install properly (with glove not touching bulb) with di-grease. I also don't run the lights in the daytime, that is a total waste of the filament(s). Wish I had some idea what is causing these failures, it is getting expensive.

Best performing low beam headlight bulb for the 2006 Buick Allure CX 3.8L V6. This is an H11 replacement bulb pair for my low beam headlights. I got about 2 years out of my last pair of the exact same make and model from Sylvania. They provide a good colour rendering index of projected light under all driving conditions including snow ❄️. It projects light really far and clearly for night driving. It is also a good colour temperature for the eyes. It is a little bit challenging to replace the low beam headlight bulb for my vehicle but I have the procedure down pat so it is easier now. I recommend this exact H11 Sylvania bulb as a replacement because you should never skimp or compromise your ability to see clearly when driving at night. It is the best in their lineup of replacement headlight bulbs. Always replace headlight bulbs in pairs!!! I don't recommend LED headlights because they may also throw ECU codes for incompatibility, unless you're certain they won't from the manufacturer. Double check this functional requirement with the manufacturer before purchasing an LED replacement headlight bulb pair. Always replace headlight bulbs in pairs!!!

My OEM bulb decided to call it quits, prompting me to give the Sylvania H11 Silverstar Ultra a shot. Verdict? The brightness goes above and beyond, illuminating the night and revealing details I didn't know were there. I attached a picture for you to witness the light for yourself. While I don't have a snapshot of the OEM bulb for a side-by-side, it is obvious to me that these Silverstar Ultras outshine in terms of light volume and crystal-clear vision. Now, the only hiccup is, despite being touted as 'WHITE LIGHT,' it's more of a subtle, cozy glow—maybe around 3000K to a max of 3500K. That is the reason why they do not get a 5-star! At this moment, I do not know how long the bulbs will last. Just hold my hope!

I had to replace the whole headlight assemblies of my Volvo and bought these bulbs for better lighting. I'm a little disappointed as they are not really white, more a yellowish tone and I see two lighter patches on the road in front of me while around these patches there is less light. I played around with the adjustment of height and width, but it doesn't change the patched lighting. I got another pair for another car with old headlight assemblies and it's the same not really white and bright light. At least they are of good longevity, it's almost a year since installing them.
